This was a newer building with typical Hooters decor and it wasn't very busy when we arrived. Our server started off strong and was very sweet. However, she got busy and it seemed like we were seated in an area that was away from most of her tables so it took awhile to get refills, ketchup, and ultimately the check. This was my first time visiting this restaurant in Prattville. The food was good, the restrooms were clean, but I wasn't impressed with the hospitality. The hostess was not friendly and never smiled the entire time or asked me anything except my order. I had gotten there a little early but I had planned on staying a while, however after finishing my burger and beer, I just wanted to leave. This place has been so bad for so long. Last resort on a Sunday. MPK was closed so after a year or so staying away we decided to give it a shot. Last three visits were awful. Dirty, bad service, nobody cared if you were there or not. Not sure what happened, new management maybe? This place has done a 180. Great service, great food, music was not so loud that you couldn't hear each other talk. Hopefully it will continue. If you're like us and gave up on them, I would recommend another shot. read more

Came to Prattville to play week end golf at R T Jones Capital Hill Senator golf course. Their internet had all kinds of pages to read before you logged on. Their crap about getting COVID was just horrible. I gave them 2 stars for attitude to their customers Covid has been over for 2 years. Met up with friends and had drinks at this Hooters where was close to where we parked while we were RVing through Alabama. The beers and the wings were good. However the service was slow. Our waitress warned us in the beginning that there's only two of them working that night. Sounded like we should expect slow service. It was around 8:30PM! There was not many tables at that time. We had to wait a while for the beers and the wings. We have been to some restaurants that they were short staffed with full house of diners, yet the service was still excellent. This was my first time here with my son and granddaughter. We were seated immediately at a dirty table. I asked the young woman to have someone wipe it down. She wiped it down to only wipe the dirt into my son's lap. We received no menus even after asking. We sat and waited another 15 minutes after watching every other table be addressed. My husband and I stopped in to place a to go order. While we waited for our order, we had time to observe that there weren't many customers inside, but the place was trashed. Almost every vacant table was piled with garbage. The trash cans were overflowing. There was garbage all over the floor by the kitchen line and all in the server station. The bathrooms were disgusting. ONE employee was properly masked. Tickets were piling up in the kitchen and no one was in there cooking. A woman I assume to be the manager went to help out in the kitchen and was handling food while talking on her cell phone (yuck). We waited at least 30 minutes and never even got our drinks. Probably the worst service I've received since moving to Montgomery/Prattville. After ordering our food, we only saw our waitress after the food came and had to go track her down after waiting for 20+ minutes upon completion of our meal. I asked for a refill of tea prior to our food getting there, and never got the refill or the Togo tea. Finally while getting our receipt, I overheard another waitress come to our waitress(Jaysha) and tell her that another table wanted to change tables and servers. I guess they were tired of watching her hide in the corner laughing hysterically for half an hour rather than check on her customers. The Food was amazing!!! A new Hooters opened in Prattville, Alabama at the end of August. Ed and I attempted to have an old-retired-guys lunch there last Wingsday (Hooterspeak for Wednesday) but but they must have still been in training mode because lunch was not being served that Wednesday or Thursday. A sign on the door promised regular hours would commence Friday. Ed and I made a second attempt at lunch at Hooters Prattville this Wingsday and our mission was a success. The parking lot and seats were as full as a Hooters should be at lunchtime. Upon entry the hostess seated us at a booth up front and soon after Hooters Girl Kayla arrived to serve us. She took and delivered our drink orders, we passed on appetizers, so Kayla waited for a decision on lunch. I chose ten breaded Wings in 911 sauce with no dressing, carrots, celery or sides. Wings! Just bring me Wings! Ed had opened and was reading the menu and making a decision was proving to be a challenge. He ordered a Salad and ten breaded mild Wings, then looked at the menu again and got ten mild sauce Buffalo Shrimp. Ed was still looking at the menu and thought that the kids at home might like Wings for dinner so he ordered an additional helping of Wings in mild sauce. All our ordering complete, Kayla made sure that everything was being prepared to our specifications. I asked for `Dead Plates` which are extra plates I get to hold the bones of our chickens once we strip off the meaty parts. I also use this to count the number of Wings I have been served. Rarely have I been short a Wing or Shrimp and sometimes I get an extra. Such is the Hooters experience... come for the food, stay for the food. Somehow Hooters always seems to have the largest and meatiest Wings available on Earth. After Ed and I finished our entrees and filled Ed's takeout boxes, Kayla came by offering mini-Cheesecake treats just as I was thinking about a slice of Hooters' famous Key Lime Pie. The Cheesecake treats were $2.99, less expensive than a whole slice of pie, so I got a Strawberry Cheesecake mini. Tasty it was. Small it was. Next time I'll get a slice. It's nice to have a Hooters in the area again. The Montgomery Hooters closed through no fault of its own. Hooters Corporate called in loans from the new franchisee who bought seven Hooters and debt from a previous franchisee. Months later after a change in ownership/management, the new Hooters Corporate demanded that the new franchisee pay up in full or close. They closed. The advantage to me is that instead of having to drive the 90+ miles to either Pelham, AL or Columbus, GA, I can drive the 25 miles from Mitylene to Prattville for Wings. Cuts my Hooters driving time down by 75%. This is my 95th visit to a unique Hooters. I keep track. Some are no longer open such as Hooters Polaris in Columbus, Ohio whose shirt I wore today in their honor. I still keep up with some of those Polaris Hooters Girls from 2007-2008. One is now an Officer and Army Psychiatrist, one is a Dentist and one is in Broadcast Advertising and we communicate semi-regularly. I gathered some of the Hooters Girls on duty for my traditional photo. Ed took a great picture. Hooters Girls, Managers and Corporate Trainers insured that the customers at this new location had a great time with satisfying food and drink selections. Hooters Prattville is located on Rocky Mount Road off of Cobbs Ford Road in front of the Bass Pro Shop. Ed and I enjoyed our first visit and we will be back for more. read more

The word horrendous comes to mind when thinking of my experience at this location. Asked for DosXX, no bottles, and keg was out. Fine. Then it turned out no Corona Premier, no Blue Moon. After a few minutes the server finally tells me they pretty much only had domestic left. So I ended up drinking Dr. Pepper. As for food, ordered Buffalo shrimp. They were small, cold, and tough. Ordered "smoked wings". They were deep fried. Like, DEEEEEP FRIED... Literally beyond recognition. So we ordered boneless. The pieces were equivalent to the size of chicken nuggets you get from the place that isn't open on Sundays. As far as service. From the time we walked in, servers were sitting down, on the phone. Our particular server disappeared after we placed our drink orders. When we did see her, we asked for ranch, and it took her over 10 minutes to bring a single small cup of ranch(mind you, the restaurant only had like 5 parties, 3 of which were seated at the bar). She took so long to bring ranch that we finished our meal by the time it came out. The sad part about it all was when we walked in, we both said our server seemed to be in a bad mood. I figured because it was so slow and she wasn't making money. So we both agreed to leave $20 tip.. Each.. To help brighten her day. But instead we received such a bad experience, that even leaving 20% felt like over paying. But we chose not to be petty. At one point all of the servers(bartender included) had all disappeared off the floor for 5-10 minutes(this was around the time we were waiting on ranch ) Overall, it is obvious why the place is suffering. Lazy staff that doesn't care, terrible kitchen staff that needs to learn when to take the food out of the fryer. The only way to solve this issue would be to kick all of the staff to the curb, and pump new life into that place with a more energetic and professional staff. We met friends here and had a bite to eat. The hostess took a very long time to come up and seat us. After our waitress finally arrived it took her a long time to take our order. I took my four year old twins and the waitress told us to leave as soon as we walked in. I asked why we couldn't be seated and she proceeded to roundhouse kick one of my baby boys. I was flabbergasted. Another young lady entered and began trying to fight me. I told her she needed to find the lord and asked once again if we could be seated. When we finally sat down we ordered and an hour later our food arrived. I am normally a fiend for hooters wings but on this day my addiction was completely destroyed. The wings still had goop on them that I think came from the bottom of the fryer. The waitress then asked politely if we needed anything else I said can I have a napkin and she replied with no. Get your own napkin. Yet when I got up to get my napkin she tripped me and I fell Injuring myself on the dirty floor. I got an order of buffalo shrimp half mild, half medium. First. They all came mild, I guess they forgot to make the other half a little hotter. Went to Hooters last night to enjoy my 10 Free Wings for my Birthday. Arrived at a little past 7PM. It was busy. Waitress (Alexsus) finally waitied on me at approximately 7:35 PM. Ordered water, my 10 Naked Wings and Tater Tots. Food finally arrived at my table at around 8:25 PM. I got my wings first and then my tater tots about 5 minutes later. I got no eating utensils. Never was asked for a refill on my water. In the midst of waiting almost an hour for my food, I saw 2 couples come in after I had already been seated and ordered and got their food, ate, paid their bill and departed before I got a chance to eat! I also saw 3 couples walk out of the Hooters because they couldn't get prompt service. 2 were out on the patio and one was standing in the doorway for over 15 minutes. I noticed 1 other couple sit down inside of the restaurant and got menus from their server but then they sat there for so long that the server never came back to them within 10 minutes and they got up and left. Service was pathetic! The music playing in the background was very loud! I finally checked out at approximately 8:45PM and was not happy. Server was not very attentive and seemed slow. Without a doubt the worst hooters I've ever been to and possibly the worst restaurant I've ever been to, the service was terrible!!! the food took over an hour to get and it was wrong when we finally got it, the manager stood around hollering that there was hot food waiting to be delivered but didn't bother to take any of it to the tables.
