We got there, got sat after 10 minutes (which is fine), our waitress took our drink order and appetizer, we wait 45 minutes for DRINKS (water and Dr Pepper) that was the only time we ever saw our server, waitied another 20 minutes on our pretzels and cheese, then the lady working front desk seating people had to come take our order on a napkin because ours was no where to be found, then waited an additional hour on our food that was cold and wasn't even correct which is strange for waiting that damn long. Wow. Hadn't been to Applebee's in nearly 10 years, but were very impressed when we revisited. Some of the items on the menu were on there the last time I was there, so that proves their staying power. Tried one of them and was as impressed as I was almost a decade ago. I am so disappointed with the treatment and poor service I just received from Applebee's on Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville, Alabama 36066. We arrived at 12:22 PM and were given three different servers to do our drink order. The manager brought the drinks and a third server finally came and took our appetizer and food orders. At 1:10 PM we still had not received the two appetizers nor any of the food that we ordered. When we inquired, because at least 7 tables of patrons that came in after us had gotten their entrees and everything, we were told let them check on the food. They brought out one of two appetizers and one entree. This is totally unacceptable! I will be letting everyone on social media know about this ill treatment and lack of professionalism with the staff! I told them I did not want a half order and we had already been waiting for an hour. We offered to pay for the drinks and we were told we could just go ahead and go. I do enjoy the onion rings while crispy and hot with special sauces when and especially with ketchup of course. I do like to try out different entrees dishes. I wish the menu would expand more items to try out. The food at this location was very hot and fresh and had plenty to take home with me.But the waiter I had was really nice and the trainee both did great.The service was however lacking we went around 4 on a Friday and we ordered drinks with our food but we didn't receive them till it was close time for us to pay.I really was disappointed because I really wanted to try the drink with the food but the waiters apologized for the inconvenience because the person that was making the drinks was lacking and had us wait way too long for our drinks to the point the waiter had to say if we didn't receive them they'd take it off our bill.The place in the inside was old and ran down and could use improvements.Other than the food being good even though it took a while I don't think that is enough for me to go again and recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

Last 3 visits to this location have involved loud, raucous laughter and conversation by employees that actually interferes with ambiance /enjoyment of restaurant. On our last (and likely final) visit, the level was so disturbing that we left shortly after being seated. I have lived in Prattville for a year and this is only the second time I have visited the Applebees on Cobbs Ford even though it is within the walking distance. Last Night I did a to go order and ordered their Ribeye steak medium rare. When I arrived home and began eating, looking at the ribeye, it was more of a pork chop consistency, the outside and the inside were grayish, and cutting into it I really could not discern the cook temp. Despite my better judgement, I ate about half of the steak before deciding it was too awful to finish. This is not the first time I have had a bad steak, and would not be writing a review based off of that. I am writing the review due to being up all night with food poisoning for the first time ever. I highly doubt I will be visiting again. read more

Our waitress was great, the receipt says Marilee I really hope that's her name because she was the best waitress we have had at any Applebees! I am pleased with this Applebee's. The hostesses opened the front door for us when we walked in. They were very upbeat and friendly. Our waitress was nice and fast. All of the workers seemed to be having a good time at work. My husband and I got the 2 for $25 with the boneless buffalo wings as the appetizer. The wings were ok, but tasted extremely salty. My husband steak came out cooked correctly, however his side was incorrect. Our server quickly brought his correct side. The environment was typical for Applebee's.
