This review is a few months late but I finally found my pictures from my visit to this nice…read moreGranger, Indiana restaurant in 2025 and figured I'd still put my review out there. Better late than never! So this visit was me, my bf, and his parents in honor of my boyfriend's birthday in 2025. The exterior is really nice and new, as is the interior! More on that in a bit... We had a reservation that we made weeks in advance but still had a wait. Rocky River Tap and Table were definitely understaffed and it took forever to get waited on and then we waited nearly 30 minutes to put in our food order. Our waitress was Amy and she tried but she definitely had too many tables. Once we got our drink and food orders, I sipped on a cider from Round Barn in Michigan (refreshing!) and I ordered a $21 bison burger with sweet potato fries (tasty!). I always get sweet potato fries whenever they are an option and this was a very generous portion. We had cheese biscuits to share and all 4 of us were addicted to them. The biscuits were so unique! My bf got a free birthday dessert of a carmel brownie dessert that was diverse in flavors and a crispy salted crispy-ness on the bottom 9/10. He, of course, shared his dessert because he's a very lovely and well-trained guy! Haha! So we enjoyed the food and the drinks but were not inpressed with the service. How about the decor and ambiance? Well, Rocky River recently underwent a renovation and it looks spectacular! The interior was white with moss on the walls and poinsettas everywhere as it was the holiday season of 2025. It is perfect for classy Instagram-worthy photos. I didn't pay for our dinner but I found that the prices were decent for the most part. I'd come back on a slower day. Where else can I get a bison burger with sweet potato fries for only $21 in Michiana?

So I contributed my share for a delivery order for my son's hockey family party. Our club manager placed the order while still in a different time zone, but confirmed that we needed delivery in local time. Somehow it was messed up on the Hooters system and the delivery was over 2 hours late. They claimed it was a time zone error, but we were only an hour difference, so at best it was "1 hour" late. When the wings came, they were okay, but nothing amazing. We also ordered pizza from Jet, which came on time, hot, and correct. Again, we didn't eat in the restaurant, so I can speak to the service or what the food may have tasted like if it was served fresh. Unfortunately, I will never be in to try that experience, but we may order wings again if we do the tournament next year. We'll see!
