We were asked if we wanted our drinks in glasses and we confirmed, but everything ended up being brought out in plastic, which was disappointing. Over two years later, we decide to give it another chance... As soon as we walked in, the A/C must have been out so it was HORRIBLY hot and uncomfortable. The air smelled like spoiled food, a staff member behind the counter was coughing and complaining which is not how you conduct yourself among paying customers... Sadly, we didn't even bother ordering as our appetite was completely spoiled. I really hope some changes are made because it truly used to be a favorite spot. Please if the owner sees this, you must turn this around ASAP.

My go-to food is the pulled pork sammich. This visit I had the iced Mocha latte and the Beef bomb sammich, which were good. The sammich has lots of roast beef slices, blue cheese crumbles, horseradish cheddar cheese sauce, caramelized onions, and arugula mix on a chiabatta bread. I was still slightly full from lunch, so I had a few bites of the cupcake and took the rest home. This place feels like coffeehouses from decades long gone, well before Starbucks changed the coffee landscape. There are plenty of chairs and seats for comfortable seating. And it may be that I arrived when there was no crowd because service was spot on. Although I took advantage of the good weather to sit outside, I will come here when I want coffee and a relaxed atmosphere without any rush.
