While doing a full bathroom/kitchen remodel in Newcastle for a customer who was also having a steam shower installed we subcontracted parts of the project not related to plumbing including the electrical portion of the project out to a local general contractor. From the beginning his electrician wasn't passing the smell test. He then took multiple days longer than the time period we were told only to tell us in the end that the brand new top of the line steam generator we just installed was broken and we needed to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. This whole process would add another week to the project on top of the time lost due to the electrician not keeping his original timeline. While I'm not an electrician I have been in the trades for 25 years. This story just wasn't adding up to me. So we decided to look for another electrician to come out and take a look. We called six different local companies with good ratings. Not one of them answered the phone. As a small business owner myself this was very surprising. Only one of them ended up even responding to our messages. Our seventh try turned out to be lucky. Not only did Tim answer our call, he was able to get us on the schedule for same day service later that afternoon. Tim showed up on-time for our appointment. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue. After checking the electrical panel he found that the breaker which was supposed to have been replaced was bad. We were so happy we decided to go on our gut. We wound up with a real skilled electrician who knew what he was doing unlike the previous bozo.
