Yellow jackets and nest
Kay C.

I have had a yellow jacket nest in my yard for 2 years and finally decided it was time to get rid of it. I emailed Bee's Knees last night and today they came and took care of it. The whole operation was amazing to see. Dan arrived and I showed him where the nest was. He used a vacuum to get the wasps out and then eventually was able to dig the nest out. It took a couple hours to get the whole nest out. He took the nest away with the wasps still alive and never had to spray chemicals. It is such a relief to have the nest gone and know that there is not poison in my yard and that I didn't have to kill the nest. Also it was cool to see what the nest looked like! I had no idea. Apparently they re-home the nest in an area with no people so the whole thing is very humane. This company is amazing! I highly recommend them!

Busy with the bees
Wendy F.

Excellent company with people who know what to do. Nicole has experience with bees in all aspects. We had a small ground nest of red tail bumble bees that needed to be relocated. We first discovered this when a landscape crew starting running from a spot in the front yard. Their 1st reaction was to spray which we declined. The work was put on hold until we resolved the bees. I also have to state that when I put bee removal in my search here on Yelp to request a quote, the algorithm didn't bring up this company. Two of the four companies sent quote requests didn't even deal with bees. So look further to get what you're looking for here.

braden was the techician who came and removed the wasp nest. He was on time and got the job done. He seems to be well inform on what he was doing and gave me a brief explaination on different type of bees and wasps. glad this was taken care of in a timely manner.

We originally requested a yellowjacket nest removal, which was done professionally and noticed another hornet nest after we finished the transaction. They provided a discount and a speedy follow up on the same afternoon for the removal of the hornet nest! Can't recommend them enough.

Fast and easy! The hornets' nest was discovered and removed within a few hours. They were fast, communicative, professional, and personable. If I have any other flying insect issues, they'll be my first call. Highly recommended.

Wasp nest they removed for us

Highly recommended! We were clearing out an old cedar raised bed and realized we had a wasp (yellowjacket) nest inside the soil! We needed the nest gone so the bed couldnget hauled away before our painters arrived in 2 days! Called Bee's Knees and they were able to schedule us for the next day. They came in their suits and used a vacuum to capture most of the wasps, the dug out the nest from the soil. They'll relocate the wasps in marshlands by their house. Lots of payment options including square, and other contactless payment options. They were quick and professional. The whole thing took less than an hour and they charged exactly what they'd quoted. Highly recommended.

Collecting the yellow jackets

When I noticed that I had yellow jackets flying into my house, I was nervous that it would be a challenging problem to resolve. I contacted Bee's Knees Apiaries and they responded quickly with a quote, which was very reasonable. They were able to come the next afternoon and were professional, thorough, and friendly. The removed the yellow jackets from the obvious location and checked several other locations as well. I feel assured by their work guarantee that in the unlikely event that the problem persists, they will take care of it. I am pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Took care of the wasp nest in no time, and answered any questions I had about Wasps and other things as well.

OMNI Pest Control was one of the first to respond when I searched for yellowjacket nest control and…read moreremoval, and provided an estimate. I contacted them that evening and Matt responded almost immediately and scheduled a date and time. The tech, a young man name Jeremiah, texted me an hour before arrival. Came to our home, I showed him where the issue was. He went in, destroyed the nest and took it out, and then treated with Deltadust, a formulation of deltamethrin. Finished the job in a half hour. Hope the issue is dealt with for good. BTW, the charge was very reasonable. Quiteimpressed with OMNI.

I was a repeat customer, for a problem that turns out they may not have eradicated the first time. I think these guys are good and do good work... IF they're able to solve it in that first visit. In two separate paid visits now, the "follow-up" appointments to check their work that THEY INITIATE get canceled. This last time, they rescheduled SIX TIMES, all last minute, after the time they were supposed to have shown up, or without any warning at all other than a "reschedule text" later. Do NOT pay your invoice after that first visit until you actually KNOW the problem has been solved, because the "free" follow-up appointments have been canceled last minute way too many times. And this was with written acknowledgement that the job had not been completed. I will share their "understanding" and empathetic "we're standing you up again" template here. Considering they started repeating excuses, I'm surprised they didn't accidentally send me the template itself: "Good morning, [customer]. We sincerely apologize for the [short notice, confusion, inconvenience]. Unfortunately, the technician assigned to your service has informed us that he is [sick, injured, forgot ladder, custom]. We appreciate your understanding, as this situation is beyond our control. Would you be available to reschedule your appointment on [Mon-Fri] (##/##) between ##:## and ##:## [am/pm]. Please let us know if this works for you, or kindly share your availability. Thank you for your patience and understanding." Honoring their appointments is NOT outside of their control. It's baffling a service provider would write this -- I will help translate: "We make one attempt at a job and then invoice you, stand you up multiple times for our advertised and self-initiated follow-up appointments, and then straightfaced gaslight you over text. Thank you for your understanding. We count on you being flexible, infinitely tolerant, reasonable and professional when workmanship issues arise, so that we don't have to be."

EXCELLENT INITIAL AND FOLLOWUP SERVICE! We hired the Attic…read moreCrew two years ago for home rodent abatement, a common but serious proplem in Seattle. They did an OUTSTANDING job finding and sealing the entry points, then clearing the old insulation and replacing with minty fresh new contemporary insulation. With the summer coming, we asked the Attic Crew to reinspect our attic fan and advise on possibly adding more. The crew arrived on time, with all their equipment, discussed our project needs with us, then promptly carried out the inspection. The Attic Crew report was A) our equipment was running fine, and needed no additional service. B) considering the tight attic space, the current fans were sufficient and no more would be needed. Final result? NO CHARGE FOR THE INSPECTION AND RECOMMENDATIONS! We would ABSOLUTELY GO TO THE ATTIC CREW next time we need their services!!!

The whole interaction with Attic Crew from the very beginning with the initial quote through to the…read morejob completion made us feel completely well taken care of. They're efficient and completely thorough. Shout out to the on-site project manager, Ricky Ricardo (yes, his real name, like the character from I Love Lucy, but he's a great sport about it) - who came early and stayed late to make sure we knew what was going on and were fully satisfied with the complete job, with a walkthrough and pictures of everything from end to end. Ricky is a guy who cares about a job done right and cares that the customers are completely comfortable, happy, and satisfied. Ricky came in before the crew started, walked us through how the job would go, made sure that all of our personal belongings were moved far away or protected by plastic throughout the garage and all the way through to the crawlspace access near the kitchen. The taped-up plastic "hallway" they created to prevent fiberglass and biohazard waste from leaking out into the house was going to block off part of the house, so Ricky made sure that we would have access to everything we needed, and offered to cut holes or coordinate crossings through as necessary. For the 3.5 years we've lived in this house I've been scared to even put my head down in the crawlspace, and by the end of the job I was ready to stand in there and take my own pictures of the space. Thankfully I didn't even have to take my own pictures, because Ricky organized sending me hundreds of before and after pictures from everyone on the crew. I have so many pictures now I could draw a pretty good map of my crawlspace without ever crawling through it. The price (spoiler: great!) Where other companies tried to quote for a smaller scope of work to keep costs within our budget, Attic Crew combined a completely thorough top-to-bottom job with guaranteed PSE rebates (as appropriate to our case) to meet our budget and then some. This was actually the best quote we got in two ways. First, this job was scoped to everything we wanted and more, no cutting corners. Second, it was the cheapest quote overall by about $500 thanks to PSE rebates that Attic Crew guarantees. Attic Crew takes care of the PSE rebates on their end, no paperwork for us. They included line items on the quote to show us how much we were saving from the rebates, but the sales rep, Tom, guaranteed me that even if they somehow don't qualify for the rebate from PSE, they will never charge that back to us. On top of that, they were quick to schedule the work only a week after we paid the deposit. The scope of work (extremely thorough): Removal of all old insulation and vapor barrier. Biohazard cleanout and sanitation. Crack sealing (foam, mesh, and/or cement as appropriate). Air sealing around any penetrations (vents, ducts, wires) into the house. Upgrade from 4" R-17 to 10" R-30 fiberglass insulation. Upgrade to 10-mil thickness vapor barrier. Replace dryer duct from flexible to rigid aluminum. The job was very thorough to improve our home efficiency and lock in the PSE rebates. As a bonus, they included cleanout of an abandoned rat's nest in a cabinet in the corner of the garage that the previous owner left us as a "gift" and we'd never had the equipment or PPE to properly deal with, and any rodent droppings found in the garage as well. Literally the only (very minor) issue we had was that we'd scheduled the quote on a day that turned out to be a Monday holiday. The communications were a little unclear referring to "tomorrow" rather than a specific date and ultimately they confirmed the appointment for the next business day. No harm done.
