This is your warning - do not use this company…read more I have used Amare's company several times to move things around in my house. This time I booked his company to move my entire home to a location about 30 minutes away. I was offered two or three movers and I opted for three. Only two movers showed up - four hours later than the original time I was told. I was told an arrival time of 6-7 a.m. At 6:30 a.m., the morning of the move, I receive a text that they had a very long day the day before and asked if it was ok if they "pressed the job back a little bit". I said yes. What was I going to say? They knew the time I had to be out of my house so I assumed they had it under control. They do this for a living - I do not. When two movers arrived they immediately seemed overwhelmed and called Amare to let him know they didn't know how they were going to get it done. Not exactly what you want to hear when you have to be out of your house by a specific time - which Amare was aware of. Amare had been in my home and was very aware of the contents. He actually showed up to help for a little bit because he said he knew I had a lot of stuff. It took two trips. Meanwhile, I have a realtor yelling at me asking where the keys are - when half of my house is still waiting to be loaded on the truck. Near the end of the second trip they made me aware that things were staying. Not that they needed to make a third trip - but that things were not coming with them (me). What???? How is that possible???? I tried to tell them that I have no way of moving these items - hence the reason I hired them. But things got left. My belongings were left because the movers that I hired decided at the very end that they were done. Not sure the reason and it doesn't really matter. My belongings were left behind. Then as I unpack came the shock of everything that was damaged beyond repair. Two very large paintings damaged, a large mirror cracked, two large glass lamps destroyed, a glass table chipped, a custom couch scuffed on the corners and the legs scuffed - thousands of dollars of items that I can't replace. I guess one of my mirrors must have been one of the items that was "left behind" because it's nowhere to be found. A dolly is missing. The list goes on and on. I hired a team that I thought could handle the job, but they obviously couldn't. It's not just the stress of losing the monetary value, it was also the stress of dealing with these three men. My husband wasn't present for the news that things were going to be left behind, it was me and my daughter. Would they have pulled that if my husband was present? My husband insisted on tipping them - because it was hot outside - not realizing the shenanigans they pulled and not realizing the degree of our damaged/"lost" possessions. So, moral of the story - don't hire this company - as you will regret it. I did contact Amare to let him know my concerns. I reached out to him first before writing a review, thinking we could arrive at a resolution. That was 9/1 and I'm writing this on 9/13 as I still haven't heard back from Amare.

The floor was X-rayed July 17, and the project has essentially been at a standstill since then. I have left voicemails, sent texts, spoken once with Kelly and once with Christian in scheduling, and attempted to contact the owner. Getting a clear answer or even a returned call has been extremely difficult. I finally contacted the Town of Queen Creek myself and was told there is currently no permit on file for my property. I chose this company in part because I was paying for the service and communication of having someone manage my remodel while I am frequently out of town. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Again, I want to emphasize that I have been happy with the quality of the work that has actually been completed. My concern is the lack of communication, scheduling, and clear information about the status of my project. I will gladly update this review if the company gets in touch with me, explains what is happening, and gets my project moving again.

Upon having our master shower remediated for mold through our home insurance policy, we were on the hunt for a company that could reconstruct the shower. I submitted a request through Yelp, and Global Prevention Services responded and got me scheduled for a consultation immediately. Shortly after this consultation, the Global Prevention Services Project Coordinator, Kimberly, put together several service estimates for me, as we weren't yet sure the direction we wanted to go with the shower tile. Kimberly was patient with us as we picked out materials and went back and forth on what we wanted to do! Due to our mold experience, we ultimately decided we wanted to limit the amount of grout in the shower, in hopes of minimizing the chances of it failing. With that, we started the reconstruction! Throughout the whole process, Kimberly and Rudy, the project manager, were incredibly thorough, communicative, and overall, just really helpful. We could not be more grateful for the time and effort both Kimberly and Rudy spent trying to make our shower dreams come true. I would also love to give a shout out to all of the guys who helped load and unload HUGE porcelain slabs -- that is no easy feat! Floor had to be ripped up twice because the first two times the installers repeatedly made the same mistakes. Issues following basic manufacture placement instructions, poor leveling, lifting planks...etc Owner of business only came to check work when asked. Said he was sorry but didn't seem to improve his oversight of the job. On the second attempt the installer didn't even clean up the glue that had dripped out of some transition planks. The third crew did better but at that point we were tired of working with FASA and had completely missed the timeline they had agreed to. It was hard to know whether they were looking out for me or themselves many times. If used, keep an eye on the quality of the work.

One explained he was in college, and the other said he raced BMX bikes professionally. It quickly became apparent that they weren't experienced movers. It took them an hour just to take apart my king-size bed. The day before, a friend and I moved all 70 boxes ourselves in about five hours total, including loading and unloading. I hired the movers only for the large furniture: a king-size bed, two nightstands, a dresser, a bench, a 65-inch TV, a TV stand, a sofa, a coffee table, and an end table. Moving those items just four miles took them 6.75 hours, which is what I was billed for. After the first hour and a half, they had only taken apart the bed and moved the mattress downstairs. I asked why it was taking so long because it honestly felt like they were dragging their feet. Had I known they weren't actually firefighters, I never would have hired them. I chose this company because my neighbor had used them a few months earlier. I watched that move, and they were in and out very quickly. She also told me nothing was damaged, which gave me confidence in hiring them. Although I was frustrated with how long the move took, I still tipped them 10% using my credit card. I was then surprised to learn there was a 4% credit card processing fee. Since Square charges businesses 2.6% plus 10 cents per transaction, I felt that passing along a 4% fee was excessive, so I deducted that amount from the tip. They used Square to process my transaction. As a small business owner in Scottsdale, I understand the cost of processing credit cards. While I would not use this service again. I was also disappointed that the company's name implied the movers were firefighters when they were not. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. I was charged two hours of travel time coming and going to my place when they were getting ready to leave I googled travel time back to surprise and it said 43 minutes I was billed for an hour when I said something he said that they were going past Surprise to the yard that they had to return the truck too. Response to the owners reply The bed has hex screws holding it together, so the only reason it would be difficult to take apart is if you didn't have the proper tools. The fact that you wish you could provide bulky, glistening calendar movers has absolutely nothing to do with anything I wrote in my review or with the efficiency of the movers. I want to be a billionaire, but that doesn't mean I'm going to become one. Likewise, using a name that gives people the impression they are supporting local firefighters is misleading. I see that you don't take constructive criticism well. I stand by my original review and was simply sharing my honest experience.
