Super job from initial contact until job completed and technician drove away! On July 4th (Thursday) one of my guests spotted a hornet nest about the size of a basketball between two evergreen branches about 8 feet in the air. On Friday morning, I filled out and submitted an application I found at the Bee Man website (now called Cascadia Venom Collections) to request they come and remove the nest as soon as possible as on Saturday July 13 (about a week hence) there was to be a wedding on the property and we needed the hornets gone! That same day, I received an email from Stephanie saying they would get us scheduled soon, but definitely before the wedding. In fact, on Saturday July 6 I received another email saying if it was okay, John would come out the next day (Sunday) between 10 AM and noon to remove the nest. Super fast service. Sure enough, Sunday at 10 AM, the doorbell rang and there stood a super polite and enthusiastic John. After he set up the vacuuming equipment, we chatted about hornets, yellow jackets and bees at a safe distance from the nest. He was very knowledgeable about all stinging insects. Once the hornets were all vacuumed up, he placed them on dry ice and then poured about 3 ounces of hornets into a zip lock bag. He said it was a large nest and he was grateful to get so many hornets. He packed up all his gear (ladder, vacuum, hoses, collection bottle, etc.) and prepared to leave as enthusiastic as when he arrived. Needless to say, I tipped John for his outstanding service and very positive customer attitude. From discovering the nest until removal was completed...about 2 days! This company is EXCELLENT! I'm a small farm organic , non-gmo, and free range my animals for meat and egg purposes located outside of Rainier. Because I'm not interested in poison sprays or really killing any part of the eco cyle of which I'm part...I've had Cascadia come out for 3 seasons so far. I received excellent and prompt service from the Bee Man, Cascadia Venom Collection, for removal of my hornet's nest. We were about to put our house on the market when I noticed a paper nest just outside the kitchen window, the nest was very active. I looked at the Bee Man's website and quickly identified the hornet from the information there. I requested free removal of the nest and heard from Stephanie by the next day. She scheduled removal of the nest, and after the bee man left, there was no evidence of a nest. The area was clean and free of hornets!
