I love coming here on Wednesdays. I'm a teacher, so this is a summer tradition to come here with my…read morekids and pick out some yummy food. It's right next to the playground at Christian Temple, so it is very kid-friendly! Walk into the parking lot and there is usually someone playing music (often a man playing the accordion) and two rows of stalls. The farmers are very friendly and offer a good variety of produce. Some are reasonably priced, others are a little more expensive than a store, but sometimes that's the price of supporting quality, local, small business! Most of the foods are produce, but there are a few places that sell meats, cheeses, and eggs. In addition to that, there are some vendors who sell soaps, honey, prepared foods like granola, and occasionally someone is selling wine/beer/mead. My son and I like to get pastries from Garrett, the Parisian pastry chef. Daunted? There's usually an info table with people sharing recipes, gardening tips, etc. At least some of the vendors accept food stamps, but I'm not sure if they all do. Short on cash? There's a stall where you can buy tokens with your card and use the tokens to purchase at the stalls. It's a small, but great farmer's market!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is still my favorite local food spot, even though…read moreit's not around the corner from me anymore. Their new location is BIGGER and BETTER than ever! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Wondering if they'll be getting more of that yummy snack or seasoning you picked up there last week? Ask them! They're always happy to get things back in stock if you want them to (supply chain permitting, of course). If they don't have it or can't get it, they'll help you figure out where you should be able to get it. I watched one of the owners spend 10-15 min with a customer trying to find a couple of specific ingredients for a dish they were planning on making that night. The owner called another local store to ask if they had those items in stock and then gave the customer full directions to drive there from Culinary Architecture. Besides their excellent selection of packaged goods and produce, the food and drinks they make in-house are also exceptionally good! Sweet treats? Meat (and No-Meat) pies? Bread? Caffeine fix? They have it all, with a solid selection of staple recipes and a rotating menu of new/seasonal items! With the natural light, warm smells, and big community table with different chair choices right up front, you'll feel right at home here. Convenient parking and outdoor seating available, too! Come check 'em out in Little Italy! (BONUS: A lil lady named Pokey... You'll know her when you meet her. )

I come to this area of Little Italy about every six weeks. been to Culinary Architecture twice now…read more Today I had a salmon roll with sides of fruit and salad and a citrus ginger tea. Oh my goodness -absolutely superb flavors, freshness, and ambiance. the sauce that came with the salmon roll was a very special treat!! It is immediately evident that quality ingredients are a primary focus and I appreciate that. - selections on the menu are unique and memorable. Service wise, it was very pleasant to not be rushed to eat and go - a lovely area for great food and conversation. They also have a grocery area, as well as some unusual gifts. I will return!!

There is a full wine bar as soon as you walk in that is about as prominent as the cheese selection, and there is a clear passion for pairing these two. Sampling a few cheese and wine pairings, then grabbing a bottle and a quarter pound of our favorites with a freshly baked baguette on the side makes for a really lovely evening. It can definitely get busy, but service is always friendly. They also have a little import specialty shop in the back (yes, there's a back...it's around the corner!) where you can often find some foodie goodies. This is a low-key place that is a true staple. And their events are always extra fun!

I have sat inside in there back room which is a much more quiet vibe as well as outside which is nice but definitely is loud as it's in Fed Hill. All of the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. There are a lot of people there for a small place so they definitely do their best at getting everyone served quickly. The food is very reasonably priced, the DELICIOUS paninis (not pictured) are a must as well as a cheese board to start off the night. I would definitely try a new combination of flavors because they were all phenomenal, definitely get the old bay Asiago though! Both times I have been I have bought my favorite items in their store which is a great feature and so satisfying to supplement my boring weekly groceries!
