The staff are very professional and the pickup process was very easy. They have a storefront off Main St which has many meal options in the refrigerators on the side - there is so much variety! It's a large store, pretty quiet when we visited on a weekday, with a desk at the back where you can check out your items. We tried the zucchini lasagna, steak and eggs, jerk chicken and mashed potatoes, Greek meatballs with rice and tzatziki, chicken quesadilla, and stuffed bell pepper soup. All of them store really well in both fridge and freezer. With just some simple microwave time they have all been so flavorful and I especially appreciate the delicious sauces - especially the green sauce with the steak and eggs and chicken quesadilla. The lasagna and stuffed bell pepper soup also had lovely, savory meat seasoning. Even after freezing, with a quick stir through I was impressed how well the food retained its flavor and texture. Easy to store in the fridge and to warm up later. My favorites are the black pepper chicken, the jerk chicken with mashed potatoes, and the Greek meatballs with rice and tzatziki chicken. The chicken quesadilla is tasty, but I thought the green salsa was too spicy for me. The steak and eggs is plentiful and well flavored, with a green side sauce, but I didn't try the side sauce since I don't like to put salsa on my eggs (nicely separated). I stopped by this meal prep shop for the first time and liked the variety of options. Since I'm pescatarian, I tried the salmon lo mein stir-fry. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the stir-fry itself was pretty tasty. Unfortunately, the salmon was dry, overcooked, and lacked flavor, even without me heating it for the recommended time of 2 mins. I think the salmon could benefit from being partially cooked by the shop so it doesn't become overly dry when the customer reheats it. I unfortunately had to force myself to eat it since I paid my money. I paid $14 for the meal, which felt a little on the higher side compared to similar salmon meal-prep options from HEB around $9. That said, I understand businesses set their own prices, and the price wouldn't stop me from coming back and supporting the business. I drove here to come pick up some meals because I have to leave out of town in the morning for work for a project and I wanted to have some healthy meals along the way I look online. It says they close at 8 o'clock. I get here is closed. Nobody's here. Door says 7 o'clock. The least you can do as a business owner is make sure that this is advertised correctly. A lot of places have "healthier" options than typical fast food spots but BeeFit has tons of healthy options that are low in fat with moderate carbs. The sweet potato skillet in my opinion is the best item on the menu hands down. The Turkey chili and salmon with egg whites breakfast dish, Korean beef bowl (add some sriracha you'll thank me later) lol are all on my regular rotations. Some of the other dishes are higher in fats than I can afford so they're for every blue moon but also taste great! It is a food prep place where food is already prepared to go, I wanted to try more of the food first versus another choice dish. I will try something else soon, in order to post the 5 stars. The portion was small and not as fulfilling, but I guess that's the point (portion control). As luck would have it I started working about 3 miles away and recently realized that my work schedule wasn't allowing me much time to cook while I was home. Last week I ordered the Shape Up 5 day plan and went to pick it up Monday. There's a variety of food to try, all with labels--and most is pretty good. It's definitely made for a stress free week. I didn't look at the other selections but there aren't any fresh greens or other fresh veggies so I bought a bit of spinach and cucumbers from the grocery store. It's really simple- the dishes have been broken down by calories, protein, carb, etc. so you know exactly what you are eating. For those with high blood pressure issues or high cholesterol, the sodium and cholesterol content respectively is clearly marked, allowing health-conscious customers to determine for themselves what they want. Then the dishes can be microwaved or placed in the oven for a few minutes, and then.......Wallah!! You get to pull out a healthy, filling meal that doesn't make you feel guilty afterward. I wanted to love this place because it's local and would be so convenient to pick up meals. I purchased the "Shape Up" meal plan for 5 sets of lunch/dinner so that I could try an assortment of meals. The rosemary chicken was so hard and rubbery (even when microwaved for just one minute) that I couldn't chew it...I ended up eating the veggies and potatoes that came with it and then tossed the chicken. The curry chicken came with soggy skin and I noticed another user mentioned the same thing. This was disappointing to me because chicken dishes are a staple to me when eating clean and both were a dud. I think the regular prices for the meals are a bit steep when compared to other mealprep services especially because the portions are smaller. I normally buy meals that are around 400 calories for $7-10 from local mealpreps or online but the 200 calorie meals from beefitfoods are already set at $8+, so I end up having to eat more meals or snacks during the day to keep full. I do agree that the meals aren't labeled very clearly with no ingredients or heating instructions. This doesn't matter to me as much because I'm not currently tracking macros nor do I have food intolerances but I can see how this poses an issue for many. I think that it's difficult to expect meals with lower calorie content to be really tasty but I do think there are better options out there for healthy meal preps that are satiating. read more

I believe that if you have something negative to say.... you should say something positive when it is applicable. I was really disappointed in the curry chicken that I reviewed earlier this week but have since had the Moroccan chicken and loaded sweet potato.
