Some of the front office staff come across as rude and act as if they run the place. I was promised that my order would be ready on 3/27, and while I understand delays can happen, the real issue was the complete lack of follow up. I specifically asked to be contacted--whether the order arrived or notand that never happened. I've been dealing with Edna at the front desk, and even after paying half of the total cost upfront, I still received no update. This is not acceptable customer service. These young office staff members would benefit from proper customer service training. Luci, the RDH, was patient, interactive, communicated everything she was doing and showed our daughter all the tools before using them, and really helped her feel at ease. They have a ton of amenities for littles (cute sunglasses for the bright light, fun toothbrushes, a prize box, etc.). Dr. Cami was attentive, gave us a lot of recommendations to help our daughter (who's very attached to her paci), and has a great perspective to prevent future major interventions. After coming to this office for a few years I was up sold on so many things I didn't need, first being a mouth guard I never use (and surprise my teeth are fine though my dentist acted like my teeth were going to fall out without it) and countless fillings. The last year I had with them mid 2024 I believe I was quoted 1,600 dollars worth of work including a crown. I was devastated, but trusted them and scheduled with them. Something in my gut felt off about having another year of so much dental work when i religiously cleaned my teeth so I went for a second opinion. Turns out the second dentist didn't see any work I needed to get done. I was shocked to go from drilling countless spots in my mouth to no work needed. Now it's 01/06/2026 and I just went and got x rays again and told good job no extra work besides cleaning needed today at another dentist. I'm so glad I didn't go to grand oaks for a crown and multiple fillings I didn't need and trusted my gut. It's been years and my teeth are fine contrary to what this office said(they made it sound like my teeth were horrible and needed this work asap) Id never return to such a greedy and predatory dental office that's obviously only looking to make extra money and give you dental work you don't need. My wife and I started going here before Covid. The office was great at that time. However, over…read morethe past two years we noticed a dramatic change: over-crowded, manic and some techs who did not seem well trained. On one visit my wife was left in a back room for an hour and someone finally came back and said "Are you still here?" Last November they found a problem with one of my wife's teeth and said it need to be extracted and replaced with an implant: cost $8000. We trusted them and an appointment was set up with a visiting oral surgeon to do the work. He was extremely brutal and left the room without a word with her bleeding and the staff left to clean up his mess. We later found out he had knocked out a piece of bone from her jaw during the procedure. Several visits later and after multiple x-rays the oral surgeon determined the bone had grown back enough for the implant. But my wife was not willing to submit to his brutality and indifference. They then referred my wife to a specialist outside her office. The specialist took x-rays and determined that my wife's jaw was damaged to the point of not being suitable for an implant without additional extensive oral surgery - even if then. In fact, her mouth, tooth and jaw were so small that an implant was a questionable option to begin with. The specialist suggested a permanent bridge rather than an implant. We did some research and found a reliable dentist who performed the necessary procedure. But it did not end there. I decided to have an exam with the new dentist despite the fact I had a cleaning just a few weeks before. The exam disclosed that after more than 5 years of "care" at Shipp's office, I had gingivitis and was never told...
