They provided several choices, each of which gave me the best value for my dollars. They worked with me through some scheduling changes so that I could watch the roof go on. What is underneath is really more important than the shingles that went on top. The crew was professional and efficient, and really nice guys to boot. They worked long hours to get it done quickly and cleaned up each night. I told Cameron that I wanted to be around in 50 years to check up on their warranty. He said the roof would be there.

Flashing wasnt installed correctly, three downspouts holes were covered, scutters were not sealed, and roof shingles were loose. They sent another crew to redo the job, and although the workmanship was better, we still had issues. However, the company representative said there was nothing they can do. That is not the impression we were given at the beginning. I was told they could do the job and we would be satisfied. We are not. We will call another company (at our expense) to get what we originally requested. My recommendation is that if you decide to use Axis then I would make sure you have your expectations on paper, and have a followup independent inspection. We got a roof replacement quote from one company with the cheapest option being $22,000. We wanted multiple quotes so, after looking at Yelp reviews, we contacted Cornerstone Roofing. Mike (from Cornerstone) came today to give us a quote. After getting up on the roof, he came down and let us know that our roof looks great and does not need to be replaced. He explained what materials he saw that showed it was a newer roof and listed all the features that were put in when it was replaced. He gave us the name of the shingle company and let us know we probably still had a warranty through them. He even followed up after he came, saying he looked up satellite images and the roof was probably replaced in 2016/2017. I had already contacted the shingle company to ask about the warranty and, Mike was right, the roof had been replaced in 2016. We now have a warranty we can use if an issue with our roof comes up and we know that we do not need to replace our roof for many years. Mike saved us a minimum of $22,000. I can't speak to the quality of Cornerstone Roofing's work (only because we didn't end up needing it) but I can speak to the honesty, integrity and knowledge of their employees.

We called Orlando's within the two-year warranty timeframe to come and remove the shingles with the nails in the guards and they wouldn't even come and look at what our complaint was to rectify it.
