We used Beck Pools to put in a new energy efficient pool pump. They promptly came and replaced our old pump. They did a great job and were very reliable. They assisted with the paperwork for the DWP for my refund. A few months after I sent all the paperwork in for my refund, the DWP asked for photos of the old pool pump still connected. In a panic I emailed Ted to ask if he would happen to have saved any photos. Within a day I got a response back with photos of the old pump attached. I was so thankful because I would not have gotten my refund had he not been organized and saved pictures of my job. I reached out to Ted for an estimate on our pool resurfacing project and he showed up on time, very thorough and super professional. The price he gave was also reasonable and competitive to the other pool companies we reached out to. We ended up not having the resurfacing done this past summer, but postponed to next spring instead. We however have him helped us with filter replacement. Again, really reasonable pricing and top-notch installation. His tech, Scott, came the next day and installed it very quickly. The job was neatly done and surpassed our expectation. Fast forward a couple months later, our pool pump suddenly couldn't get primed. I contacted Ted to ask if he wouldn't mind sending someone to help us figure out if there is an underlying cause. He replied within a few hours and assured me he will send Scott over to take a look. (All these text exchanges even though he was completely underweather and resting!) Next day, Scott showed up for us and tried every possible ways within his expertise to eliminate the possibilities, we narrowed it down to the pump. Next day, he brought the new pump to try out, unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the cause. He removed the new pump and put our old one back in. At this point, we were met with a dead-end so he recommended a pool leak detection specialist, Tony, to us. Again, he helped us coordinate and Tony showed up the next morning on a Saturday. He checked all the lines in the system for 4 hours and found no leak. At this point, we are not sure what else to do. Scott still reached out afterwards and told me that he will come out once more to try something else and see if that will fix the problem. Talk about professionalism and passion for what he does! And not to mention that Ted has not charged me for this at all. Honestly, I am so thankful I found Beck Pools and will be given them business for years to come. Thank you once again, Ted and Scott. We spent a lot of time searching for potential businesses to do a remodel on the pool and chose to get quotes from 3 different groups. Ted was fairly priced, very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Ted not only does good work but he is very knowledgable about the process and we were able to ask questions throughout the remodel. We ended up getting the pool redone with stonescape aqua white, converted the pool to salt water, added a Baja ledge and redid to LED lights. The end product is fantastic and we couldn't be happier! When we bought our house, we knew we'd have to replace our pool pump and filter in the near future, so we solicited quotes from different pool service providers.
