Extremely poor service & copiers are junk!!! I would advise anyone looking to rent copiers to look elsewhere.

I remembered using uBreakiFix before for other devices, so I decided to give them a try before making a big purchase. They quickly checked my iPad and confirmed it was charging properly. A week later, my iPad was fully repaired at a very reasonable price! I'm so excited to have my "baby" back, and uBreakiFix will always have my business from now on. Their repairs come with a one-year warranty, and their customer service is always top-notch. Highly recommend!

My computer's hard drive ran out of space & I did all I could to make room, but it kept filling up…read more Something called the Capabilities Access Manager had created a 160GB file of junk. I couldn't get rid of it, so I took it to a UbreakIfix on Chicago Ave in Chicago. I also had a problem with my page layout; words were pressing together and overlapping. They kept my computer overnight. I picked it up, they got rid of that file, and I had my HD space back!! I was pleased until I tried to do other stuff. I couldn't get into my settings to change the video. I took it back, they kept it 2 days, claimed they fixed it, but they didn't. It would take too long to tell you the two weeks of Hell I went through. I found out from my Google Artificial Intelligence that they fixed the first issue, but created many more by corrupting the Capabilities Access Manager program in Windows, which controls permissions and related settings. Every time I went to a website, I would always get a pop-up asking if it was OK. I couldn't get into my permissions to change it from ASK to ALLOW. Every time I tried to go to settings & change permissions, I was kicked out. This went on for 2 weeks. After hours of dealing with AI, we finally went in and deleted and rebuilt the CAM svc. I FIXED IT!!! Well, AI fixed it. I tried calling their home office to complain & I got some clown at Asurion who refused to even pay any attention because, according to him, UbreakIfix was a totally different company. I tried telling him Asurion OWNED them & he rejected that and claimed that was not true & there was nothing he could do. Finally, I tracked down a Florida location and called, but got a lady from the Philippines on the phone. She took my call, was very nice, and told me there was nothing she could do but would have someone call me. The next day, I got a lady on the phone, and I explained all the trouble. She offered me a refund of my $100. I told her I wanted $50. They did solve one problem, but I'll be damned if they get to keep all of it. So, I'm waiting on my $50. I hated the service, but the response after I finally got someone other than an idiot on the phone, who didn't even know who he worked for, was reasonable. The reason I went to them is that they had fixed a phone for me. I say use them at your own risk. The corporate customer service person in America did her job. She listened, apologized, and offered a solution. I was not pleased with the people in the store on Chicago. They lied to me and told me they had fixed the problems they caused and they didn't. That is unacceptable.

The second time the piece came off when the movers mounted it and I was stuck with sound and no picture. I scheduled an appointment online and Luis came by within a couple of days. He just goes above and beyond. My cords were a mess and my TV needed to be mounted again, and he took the time untangle and reconfigure the way things were plugged in so I didn't need as MANY cords. He also mounted the TV. I'm happy I found him on YELP. The reviews are TRUE - he's reliable and honest and compared to other companies, he has very reasonable rates. Thanks Luis!!

They called me shortly after that saying that if it's a screen problem they can't fix it. So I asked them why the $55 charge? "So we can pick it up and take it to our shop and verify that we can't fix it." The screen had a couple of lines shooting across the screen and it was screen/picture issue. When they came to pick it up, they reminded me that they might not be able to fix it. I get a call next day confirming that they can't fix it and now they don't want to return TV till late next week cause there's no service calls in my area?? Such a scam, don't fall for this hack. I'm beginning to suspect their rating is rigged or something b/c just terrible way of handling 'TV repair' business.

As soon as the part came in from LG he was over the next day to install it. He ended up fixing the TV on my bed as that was the best place to safely work on the big screen. The TV worked for a few hours and then was back to same issue. He was back the next day and diagnosed that it was a bad panel instead of a faulty motherboard. LG sent a new panel and once again the day after it arrived he was at my place to swap it out while a blizzard raged outside.

Have a bad panel on a 55" TV was told DG Electronicservice was going to come out to my residence on Saturday July 3rd between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. I took off of work to have my television repaired. Waited from 12:00 to 4:57 p.m. I never heard anything so I called geek squad to inquire about my appointment and the gentleman who so graciously helped me put me on hold momentarily while he called the technician to confirm where he was. The technician replied I'll give the customer a call back in a few minutes. The technician called me back about 10 minutes later to tell me, while there was a lot of loud music in the background as well as a substantial amount of people talking, screaming ,And laughing (almost like a barbecue on the 4th of July weekend), that he had gotten into a car accident earlier in the day and wasn't going to be able to make his appointment. So I told him that I would wait for geek squad to call me back to reschedule. He pretty much brushed me off and said " do whatever you want , I have to go" and hung up the phone. On Tuesday I received an email from AIG ,which is the company that handles the repair portion of plans for Best buy, to notify me that my repair was going to be canceled due to me not providing information to the repair company. On a personal note if you don't want to work on the 4th of July weekend put in PTO or call off before you have to be at work don't do it halfway through your shift. Not only does this look bad on Best Buy , but it also makes your company look like they don't actually care who they're hiring. Ironically the employee did not leave his name on the work order because there would be a list of these reviews under his name. DG Electronicservice please do a better job with the staff you choose to hire and trust your brand name with...
