    2001 Express van 19,243 miles

B Purchased a wheelchair van with 19,243 original miles. Great service and easy purchase process. Check out their inventory.

Ended up picking up a forester! Loving it and definitely can't wait to take this bad boy up to the mountain this winter

This is a really awesome find if you're a Subaru guy/gal. They're a bit of a struggle to find as they are in warehouse buildings but they're definitely a hidden gem for subie drivers. They had a pretty big selection of foresters at the time I went in. I was really torn between two of them, they let me test drive both and we're super accommodating with all the questions I had. I've owned several subarus so I know what to look for when buying, the one I ended up selecting was super good shape for the year and had really low miles. I ended up taking it down the road to a Subaru franchise to get it looked at (just for peace of mind) apart from a few small things like the battery ect everything checked out. Upon returning we began the negotiation process which I usually dread, it was easy and they have me a great deal + new battery (: They also said I can come back when I'm ready for the big headgasket service in 1-2 years and they will give me a discount! I wish all car buying was like this. They got my business for years to come! Cars 9/10 Staff 10/10 Price 8/10 All in all, I recommend them for anyone in the market for a box forester.

My non driveable van being loaded onto a tow truck 3 weeks after purchase.

After a few text messages back and fourth trying to establish a good time for when to bring my vehicle in, I was completed ghosted. No replies to text. Seems like this person fell off the edge of the earth never to be heard from again. I also contacted my salesperson Brody and he never got back to me. In addition I asked Brody prior to this woman contacting me if I had any complimentary oil changes after purchasing the vehicle and his answer was no so I was surprised that this woman would even contact me at all in the first place. I firmly believe that accountability and follow up should be strictly enforced especially when someone makes contacts you and initiates a false offer and then completely cuts off communications. Pretty disappointed. Who knows. Maybe she was an intern or got fired but nonetheless, there should be some accountability especially if you want returning customers in the future. The vehicle runs nice though. No issues. If you're here to buy the vehicle, only expect that. Have it serviced at another place where you feel that your time is respected without being led-on for false expectations. Time to take the heat gun and remove the silly Herzog-Meier Dealer badge they added to my rear hatch for advertising purposes.

My salesman, Evan Miller, was outstanding from start to finish. There was absolutely no pressure at any point. We stayed in touch over the entire month while I worked through my options, and he was patient, responsive, and incredibly accommodating--even when I know I wasn't the easiest customer. He stuck with it until we found exactly what I wanted. With the help of Sales Manager Jacob Inukai, they not only secured the specific vehicle I was after, but actually exceeded my expectations. On top of that, they worked with me to get the deal exactly where I needed it to be. (Side note: there are a couple of fellow Army grunts working there as well--if you know, you know.) I also want to give a shoutout to Dave in Finance--he made that part of the process genuinely enjoyable, which is not something you hear often. Let's be honest--car salespeople don't always have the best reputation, and sometimes that's earned. I'm also at the stage in life where I have zero patience for pushy, high-pressure tactics. That's exactly what I didn't experience here. The entire team was straightforward, easy to work with, and focused on making sure I left satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this group. If you're looking for a dealership that treats you right and works with you--not against you--this is it. Thanks again to everyone at Dick's Hillsboro Hyundai--I'll definitely be back. Jeff B

We helped our daughter lease a vehicle, her very FIRST, from Dick's Hyundai & it was by far the…read moreWORST experience ANY first-buyer could have! Sadly, it wasn't that happy, red ribbon on the car, memories to last a lifetime (in a good way) experience. She was coming from out-of-state as she is in her last year of her doctoral program & moving to Oregon on a contract with the Federal Prison to complete her requirements. So, in short, she will be a Dr. next year, she has a credit score of 725+, and proof of income working for the government! We even hired a broker for a seamless transaction, as we all work, don't have time to waste, didn't want to deal with any headaches, and wanted to make sure we closed a fair deal in a timely manner. Originally Lyle was the salesperson our broker was working with. Then we got switched to Domingo because Lyle "resigned". Apparently Lyle made promises that couldn't be fulfilled such as - they had an exact vehicle my daughter wanted that would be ready for her when she arrived, including the specifications she requested. According to Lyle, she was approved and just needed to come in and sign the paperwork. I flew in with my daughter and was picked up by Domingo from the airport, a very nice young man and good gesture to pick us up. Once we got to the dealership (at 6PM-ish, they closed at 7PM) the nightmare began. First, they didn't have the exact vehicle they promised and were going to charge her $880 JUST in parts to check all her boxes. Mind you, we were picking the vehicle up, so now she'd have to pay more money than what she was promised AND have to bring the vehicle back in. Additionally, they started the process ALL over, meaning ALL the way back to the qualifying stage! This was not mentioned AT ALL until we asked why they were asking so many questions again, this had all been covered with Lyle. To make a LONG, AGONIZING story as short as possible, they said she now DOESN'T qualify and said, "I would need to co-sign for her" like it was no big deal; I got the impression it was expected. No, that is not going to work. We had the approval already for her, according to Lyle, and my husband & I are working to refinance so that is the last thing on our minds! It was a back-and-forth with the dealership WAY past closing. I told them we were walking away and asked my husband to call us an uber 4 TIMES! Our broker went back-and-forth with them as well, it was a draining and frustrating experience, but in the end, they apparently finally got it approved. I was so infuriated when it was after 11 PM, my daughter & I were exhausted, and we could see the manager, Domingo, and other gentleman talking & laughing in the office. I'd had enough, so I walked over and Domingo quickly shot out of the office to meet me before I could get to the office. I told him we were done, and we were leaving, and uber was on their way...the manager then joined us and said, "we JUST got approval"! I FELT that was very shady behavior. We did have to give a down payment we weren't expecting but just wanted to get the vehicle and get out of there at this point- we were beyond exhausted so just wanted to close and get to bed! We didn't get home, the very first night in her own place, until after 1AM! We then had to move her in and get the bed set up, etc. After this nightmare, Domingo starts contacting her, wanting more information about her income and employment. We then contact our broker who reaches out to Dick's and finds out that corporate at Hyundai decided that she should not been approved and wants the vehicle back! In all my Vehicle purchases, in all my life, I've never heard of bad business practices such as this! At this point, we are done with Hyundai and plan on leaving appropriate feedback on every platform possible to let others know of our horrid experience! Our daughter will be picking up her new Lexus tomorrow and Hyundai will be picking up their now "used"vehicle today! I mean, seriously, how could she get approved for Lexus but not for Hyundai?! As upset as she was, and I mean upset to the point where she was physically ill, we told her she will NOT be disappointed with Lexus, and we feel it's definitely a step up! How sad it was to go through all this headache only to have Hyundai want their vehicle back. Their loss! Is this what we teach our young, motivated, educated, hard-working adults??? We all have to start somewhere right?! She's employed by the federal government, has a credit score of over 725... but their hangup was that she had minimal credit history. As I was told by the dealership, "most people come in here with a history of Vehicle or home purchases". I replied, "yeah, most people don't start with a home, they start with a vehicle". We are moving on to bigger and better things, we will be so glad when this is all behind us! By far, worst experience all around! We will never consider buying a Hyundai again, and certainly NOT from Dick's dealership!

NOT A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. Stopped in at the service department to discuss issue with 2018 Accord…read moreEXL 2.0L and spoke w/Andrew. I explained a/c not blowing cold but Honda extended warranty on a/c and I wanted oil change. I also had concerns about transmission lurching/surging and explained what it was doing. I explained that I have brought up my concerns about the transmission before to both Dick's Hillsboro Honda and Beaverton Honda in past visits for oil changes and was told this is normal. I mentioned several internet searches about these 10 speed transmissions showed up frequently for that model year having the problem as I described. Advisor researched and said only bulletin was for a/c and nothing on transmission and that my car was not 10 speed. We scheduled appt. for oil change, a/c diagnostic and tranny diagnostic. He stated two seperate fees for both diagnostics and that if a/c condensor was issue then fee would be waived and covered under warranty. I later got home and did more research and sent this, Honda Service Bulletin (TSB) #19-091, issued on November 10, 2019, addresses 10-speed transmission shift quality issues in early production 2018-2019 Honda Accord models equipped with the 2.0L engine. [1, 2] Key Details of TSB 19-091 Fix: Software calibration update for the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Purpose: Addresses harsh shifting between gears and improves torque converter response. Symptoms: Harsh shifts/clunking noises (specifically 5th to 6th, and 8th to 9th gears). Delayed engagement. Rough downshifts. Shift lag during acceleration. Hesitation or a "rubber band" feel. [1, 2, 3, 4] Affected Vehicles 2018-2019 Honda Accord (10-speed automatic models, primarily 2.0L). Applies to early production models. [1] Additional Information Resolution: Many users report that this update alleviates, but does not completely eliminate, the inherently "clunky" nature of the 10-speed transmission at low speeds. Diagnosis: If a fluid service does not resolve the harshness, this software update is the next recommended step before considering torque converter replacement. Alternative Solutions: If symptoms persist after the update, some users have reported that "learning" to drive with specific throttle inputs (e.g., 25% throttle) helps, or that the transmission requires a long "break-in" period of 15,000-20,000 miles. [5, 6, 7] It is highly recommended to consult a Honda dealer to verify if your specific VIN is covered under this or subsequent service bulletins. AI responses may include mistakes. I looked up the bulletin 19-091 and its for the a/c condenser warranty extension. I tried looking up anything else in the Honda database related to transmission judder/acceleration issue and I could not find anything related. Your vehicle also does not have a 10-speed transmission so I don't think that article pertains to an Accord. 10 speeds are only in Honda odyssey's and Pilots that I'm aware of. I began to get worried about the statement of my car not being a 10 speed and was going to cancel but decided not to. The bulletin number maybe wrong or it maybe a broader range related. I knew it is not a recall or warranty extention but possibly a Service Bulletin concern. I asked to have tech check for TCM updates. Fast forward to repairs, a/c fixed under warrenty, oil changed, 10 point inspection done w/recommendations of brake fluid flush and transmission drain and fill along with hard battery reset. I declined reset and did one according to YouTube using accelerator pedal. I took car in early on a Wed., picked up car late day Thurs. then the car sat until early Fri. morning. I drove to Astoria, Oregon from Beaverton and everything fine. The car sat in lot from fri-wed. because everything within walking distance. Got in to start car and drive home and noticed noises from underhood. I called Beaverton Honda immediately and the response from service desk was, we can get you in tomorrow to look at it BUT there will be a diagnostic fee. I explained my car was just in there. I said I need it looked at so whatever. I was not happy and after stewing on it cancelled the appt. How many diagnostic fees do you want?
