I previously visited Studio 4 Brow at H Mart for years (I reviewed them in 2014) but they have been getting busier, pricier, and the results vary depending on who is available that day. I'm happy to have found Manju and when she told me used to work at Studio 4 Brow for many years, it dawned on me that I've seen her before. Glad she's ventured into a solo business as she does great work. I bought a very reasonable membership at the end of my visit.

Instead of fixing the issue, all she did was put a fan on my face. No adjustments to the tape, no changes to the glue--just kept saying my eyes were "sensitive". I would blink and it literally felt like my waterline was being stabbed because the extensions were glued to my eyelid. By the end, my lashes were overloaded with glue. They had a noticeable white tint from how much adhesive was used. It honestly felt like I had chili rubbed into my eyes. What's worse, the extensions were glued to my eyelid--my actual skin--and there was glue residue on my waterline. You can clearly see it in the pictures. That is not normal application. When I brought it up, she dismissed it and said it was just tears reacting with the glue. It wasn't. It was clearly excess glue and poor technique. She told me to wait 3 days and call if I didn't like them. I told her I didn't need 3 days to know I didn't like them. I paid and left completely unsatisfied and uncomfortable with eyes BURNING I could barely see. Should've read the reviews better, I'm glad they're actually more people experiencing this poor service and speaking about it.

The brow lamination also caused the hairs to clump together awkwardly, and I was given no aftercare instructions after the appointment. I later learned that aftercare is an important part of brow lamination services. I reached out to the studio afterward asking how this could be corrected and asking for clarification on aftercare, but my messages have gone unanswered. Mistakes can happen, but being ignored after spending money on a service and leaving unhappy with the result has been extremely frustrating. I was feeling insecure about my lips and the pigment that was loss as I gotten older. I explained that to her and asked her to enhance my natural lip color but also let her know what lip color products I lean towards. Throughout my appointment, she made it a safe and welcoming environment. She walked me through all the steps of what she was going to do throughout my appointment from the consultation part leading up to the tattooing part of it. When she was lining my lip shape, she was very thorough and focused on making sure it was perfect and checking in with me to see if I liked the shape and the shade mixture. Every step was explained in detail so that we were both on the same page from beginning to end. As for the process, I have tattoos so with the numbing cream, pain level was about a 4/10 but bearable. Of course everyone has their own pain tolerance. If you follow the after care, the peeling and healing process is tolerable and does not impact my daily routines. Me and my…read morepartner were recommended this place by a really sweet lady with nice nails because we needed a hair cut and I had to go to my brother's wedding. I didn't care that much but my partner wanted to go, so we did and got great haircuts BY THE OWNER, so we thought this was a good place to get nails done for something important like a wedding. So we actually brought friends along because we really liked this place, I got nice nails, our friend got good nails, but my partner got chopped bad. I noticed my partner's nails were off from the photos they showed me but I paid full price with a 20% tip because I'm a good lad, but man it was EXPENSIVE and those nails came off in TWO DAYS! We got the shellac and everything and overall for the two of us it was 300 usd. We didn't have any pictures of the nails on my partners fingers because they were embarrassed to really show them off, but you can see that the white lines on all the nails are crooked and uneven. The pricing was weird too, I was trying to make out what it actually was and it kinda sounded a little made up to me, but my partner said it was about right so idk. Also I was just left in bags of wax for 30 whole minutes while this nail tech went doctor doom on my partner who now has to get their nails redone while we drive down to the wedding. Either way we went here twice, but I wouldn't come back a third time.
