I've never written a review for any service I've received but I am so disappointed in the gel manicure I just received. I've never had this happen, but within the first 2 days after my appointment all of my nail polish just fell off and peeled off in one piece as if I had stickers placed on my nails instead of gel polish. I wasn't picking or pulling at them, but the edges started to peel and would get caught in clothing and just fall off. I noticed during the appointment (and now it makes sense) there was little to no nail prep and the gel prob had nothing to cling on to. Anyways, pretty bummed because my nail tech was sweet but when you're paying that much money, I expect at least a solid 1-2 weeks of wear...won't go back. read more

So happy to have found a quality nail salon. I recently moved to the area and have been spoiled by some great salons in the past. I gave beauty nail a try one day because I was shopping in the area and have been going back ever since. They do an excellent dip manicure and have a lot of colors to choose from. I go to the same tech every time and she does great designs as well. You get a complimentary massage with your nails and they also have massage chairs where you can get 10-15 min shoulder and back massage. The salon is clean, everyone is kind and they do a quality manicure/pedicure. I definitely recommend! read more

Worst nails ever. Overpriced, way too thick and they didn't listen to what I wanted. Then added extra to the price. Never again!

I went in there with a design kind of complex but could be done; didn't get what I wanted. The energy was very passive and I was told "it's too expensive, you can't get it" FROM THE NAIL TECH. The nail tech was also choosing my length and acted sort of disrespectful. There is errors on my nails like bumps and lightness in certain areas. I felt like I wasn't being listened to at all. Maybe I wasn't great at verbalizing what I wanted, but I wasn't very happy with my results. I do like the smell of my nails though, very citrus-y! read more

Place is the worst. tell them what you want the guy at front says they can do it they send you to the one doing your nails and has no clue and says they can't do it. you explain over and over what you want and you don't get it!!! They do what they want and charge crazy prices. same two people can go in get the same thing and they all have different prices, how can that be when we all did the same exact thing. mind you one of those people didnt get tips but was still charged the same as those who did get them. Very pleased with the services I have received. Called and was able to get in the same day for a gel manicure. I've been to other nail salons before and the gel started peeling after a week. This lasted three weeks and they even took me in as a walk in when I cracked a nail, they did the repair for no charge and is still fine after three more weeks. read more

Made and appointment on September 9, 2023 for 1pm. A full service gel manicure and spa pedicure. Once I arrived, there was clearly no definite appointment scheduled. The typical run around at most bad run salon's trying to squeeze in as many clients as possible on a Saturday to capture the most revenue on a weekend. The manicurist talked the entire time to other colleagues. As, well as yelling across the large open room. Once my lack luster pedicure, with bad polishing was completed, there was some confusion to who would give me a gel manicure, so I left after waiting 10 minutes. Also, after having three full services for mani/ pedi at Beauty Spa. I also noticed that they Do Not wipe down the massage chairs between usage. Example, on my first visit, I was given a gel manicure with no hand towel on the table by a male manicurist , who might have been an owner. He did not ask me to wash my hands and was horrible! I really wanted this salon to succeed and that's why I went 3 times. However, there are too many red flags of non-sanitary conditions at this place. Along with their unprofessionalism, dishonesty and rude behavior! I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere in Pittsfield that appreciates your hard earned money and does the job well! read more

I have gone once for my nails which were all different lengths when I was done and the wrong color..I am way to nice and was just like whatever and paid and left and went home to try to even them out.. they don't understand enough to know what you really want...so then I went back a week later with my friend and we got pedicures and of course they tried to sell us something more and I was like no I just want the one I picked and let me tell you I think they were upset and did hardly anything as far as massaging and lotioning...never touched my heels or toes except to paint them...I was so done so when he asked if I wanted the massage at the end I was like no I'm good ..so needless to say I will NEVER go there again or Nor will I recommend it.... read more

This was my first time at Beauty Nails. I was seen very quickly but the whole experience after that was mediocre at best. I got a pedicure and a manicure for $83. This is $13 over what I've paid at other local salons but noticed everyone getting massages as their nails dried and the description of my services mentioned a hot stone massage. I was convinced the higher price would be for the extra pampering but alas it was nothing compared to other local salons who do not advertise any kind of massage but who perform long relaxing leg and arm massages as part of their service. The Beauty Nail massage on my legs was a brief rub with a warm stone, the exfoliation of my feet was also brief and left my big toe callouses pretty much as they were. I also think the file he used was used before. He must have sensed me perk up to assess that he took the file out of a drawer not a sanitized package, because he then swished it around in my foot bath like he was cleaning it. In all fairness he did ask if I wanted my toes and nails shorter and I said yes as they were pretty grown out but he clipped both down to the quick. I have very small nail beds and every other nail salon cuts shorter but leaves some length for shaping. The male technician had very long nails that he dug into my toe and finger skin to hold my foot and hand still or to swipe errant polish that ran off the nail. It was pretty rough and painful at times. There's no need to roll up your sleeves for a luxurious massage of your arms as I had only my hands creamed. I did pull up my sleeves a bit as he was getting cream all over the cuffs of my hoodie. When he was done he got up and walked away. I thought he was getting the iPad looking instrument I saw others swiping their credit card on but no. He came back and said Massage? To which I answered Sure and thought finally the massage Ive been watching others get while I had my nails done. Unfortunately it was a few squeezes of my neck muscles and a couple tubs of my shoulder blades. He walked away to wait at the check in desk for my payment. I'm also fearful he might have been ill. All workers wore masks but he had his half mast under his nose and seemed to struggle with breathing. His hand were hot and sweaty like he may have had a fever. Finally he just pulled the mask off when doing my nails and our heads were 10 inches apart. If I get sick after this appointment, I will know exactly where the germs came from. I would never go back. Better service and better prices at Luck Nail in Lee, Happy Nail in Gt Barrington and the fairly new nail place out by Marshall's , don't know the name. All of them are clean, and the service is top notch. Never going back to Beauty Nail. read more

I was visiting the area and went with a friend that lives there. I was very disappointed with my pedicure. The technician hardly did anything to my nails, nothing to my cuticles and hardly anythings to the bottom of my feet. I basically got my feet soaked, a foot & ankle massage. I recently visited Beauty Nails for a French manicure with my daughter who got acrylic nails , but unfortunatel, I left extremely disappointed. not only was the price higher then expected($243 not including tip) but quality of the service subpar. the nail technician did a rushed job, and at the end result was messy and uneven. what's worse, the polish did even fully dry; it was still tacky and prone to smudging when I left the salon. within minutes, it became clear that's the application was poorly done, so I had to remove it immediately. it's disappointing when you pay for a service and it doesn't meet even basic standards of quality. I hope the salon can improve their attention to detail and provide better value for their customers in the future. Honestly I think my daughter nails look good but they don't even listen to her she asked for a thicker line but they didn't give her that they gave a very thin line of white polish and the pink is patchy she also said that it hurt her because the kept the drill on her skin. read more
