I'd since found a dentist in Irving that I trusted very much, but I started missing cleanings after moving to Murphy. I finally faced that I was going to have to find a dentist for my family in Murphy. I was nearly shaking during my first appointment at Glazer because I was so anxious, but they understood and listened to me carry on about my experiences. Every member of the staff is incredibly efficient, gentle, thorough and kind. I did need some work, but not much. Dr Glazer showed me on the x-rays and explained what was needed, provided me with a treatment plan, and I've been able to go at my own pace without feeling pressure to get it all done at once. My kids were afraid of the dentist and I think it's because of the zoo environment at their "pediatric" dentist. It was just a huge room with kids panicking every few feet. I took them to Dr. Glazer and they beg to go back...that's even after one of them got a filling.

They help figure out the best ways to work treatment plans in with our insurance, and have adjusted payment plans for services as we've needed a LOT of dental work recently. Went in for a 6 month cleaning and questioned a charge on the bill when I went to prepay for the service. I was told it was because of my dental history of having a root planing, but that had been years ago and I have been on a 6 month, normal cleanings for at least the last 2 years. The dentist had said everything was fine at each cleaning and they were not doing anything different from a normal cleaning. I asked what the charge of a normal cleaning was since I assume I'm being charged more and they wouldn't tell me. Then I told them I was going to file a complaint, but would pay for today. They initially took my credit card, but then refused to provide service and do my cleaning.
