We always get general admission and the regular Korean scrub. It is recommended that you arrive at least an hour ir two before scrub time so you can shower and soak to soften that skin! After getting our towels we stored our items in lockers and got showering. They have a mugwort tea tub which is also used to rinse your skin. Be careful not to contaminate the tub with post-rinse tea. The wet area has multiple soaking tubs of various temperature, including one cold plunge. The steam room and dry sauna are also here. It is recommended to rinse off in between the tubs, steam, and sauna. The Korean ladies call your name once it's time to get scrubbing. There are 2 scrub rooms which are both communal and each lady gets her own table. Here is where the magic happens. As you are asked to flip on all 4 sides, they scrub all the dead skin off your entire body, including your nooks and crannies! They rinse you off periodically with warm water and also rub your neck and head. Once you are done you are free to use the heated rooms and salt room. It is not recommended to go back to the wet room post-scrub. I always like to lotion up once I'm squeaky clean and go to the salt room to lay on their heated floor. The heated rooms are dry heat with different themes and temperatures. There is a Korean restaurant on site which smells SO GOOD but we haven't had the timing to try it yet. They also have a tea room for extra charge.

We stayed in the Raven Cabin and it was extremely clean and we felt very safe. Other than when we checked in, we didn't see any other guests the entire time we were there. The grounds are beautiful, the cabin was super cute and it was SO serene. The only suggestions I have are there wasn't any place really to unpack anything. Maybe put some drawers into the bed frame or find a place for a small dresser or even some shelves. The other suggestion is to update the microwave. It is super old and didn't have much power. These are just suggestions and they are minor, they would not deter us from coming back. Thank you for a much needed awesome anniversary getaway. We will definitely be back!

A magical, soul-soothing escape…read more I can't say enough good things about my stay at Wellspring Spa. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I'd stepped into a hidden forest sanctuary. The land itself is breathtaking--towering trees, soft mossy trails, and peaceful stillness that invites you to breathe deeper and slow down. I spent hours wandering the hiking paths and felt like I was in another world. I stayed in the Tahoma cabin, and wow--it was cozy, peaceful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. (They must have updated them based on what I have read from previous posts!) Every detail in the space felt intentional and grounding. After a day of exploring, soaking in the outdoor hot tub with that stunning view of the trees was exactly what my body and mind needed. And the lofted sauna? Absolutely the coolest (and warmest!) little gem--such a unique and relaxing experience. What really made this place special, though, was the warmth and kindness of the staff. They were so welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about creating a healing experience for guests. Also: there's a sweet dog who wanders the grounds and melts your heart--truly the cherry on top. Wellspring isn't just a place to stay--it's a place to remember. I already can't wait to come back.

I had booked 4 services for a girls weekend and then 3 hours before my service (1 of the 4) was cancelled because the staff member called out, which I understand but then they offered me a different service (at full price I might add) which I polietly declined. They did not offer the day spa/pool for free to me so I could at least be with the rest of my party before and after their appointments. Then to top it off I got the reminder text that the people in my party had to check in, but when they got there, their treatments were all cancelled!!! Luckily they were able to get their treatments since no one else walked in or same day scheduled. Loved also hearing that the staff made comments to my party about how lucky they were to get a walk in appointment. What a mess and disappointment after this trip was scheduled months in advance. This was the second year we have planned this trip and I can say for certainty next year I will not be booking here. Check-in time is 15 minutes beforehand in order to choose scents and fill out paperwork. We chose the 60 minute Alderbrook Signature Massage for $170 (Sat-Sun pricing): harmonize body and soul with a hot stone massage treatment customized with a choice of scented oil. Designed to release tight muscles and relieve tension. After checking in, we were walked to a changing room where we were provided lush robes and spa shoes. Nudity is optional. During the massage, one is covered the entire time. The masseuse doesn't see ones' nakedness. Being naked removes all obstacles while enjoying the massage treatment. Once changed into spa wear, there is a relaxation room to sit in and read magazines, drink tea etc. until your masseuse calls for you. After being introduced to your masseuse, they will ask you a few questions such as pressure points and heat (stones) to get a better understanding of ones needs and expectations. The rooms are dimly lit and ambient dream music plays at a low volume. Once the massage starts, the talking stops. After the massage is completed, one is encouraged to take a few moments to themselves before exiting the room. Upon exit, one is greeted with a glass of cucumber lemon infused water and ushered back to the relaxation room to enjoy for as long as one likes. Back in the changing room, one can fully shower if desired. All amenities are provided: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, razors, tampons etc. Payment is collected after massage completion where gratuity can be added. We were able to enjoy some much needed time just being present with each other as we sipped Prosecco during our foot soak. The local toffee we had were divine! The robes they provide are comfortable & great quality. I enjoyed my massage with Amanda. She had a great balance of fluid movement with firm pressure. We both thought the temperature of the table was just right & relaxing. I definitely felt myself falling asleep. My husband fell asleep. My husband enjoyed his massage with Kimberly.
