These are my favorite ones I've tried here in Austin! They have a ton more on the menu like quesadillas and enchiladas - everything looks like real authentic Mexican food. We received friendly service from the staff! They also made sure to give us both kinds of hot sauce to go with our meal, there are plenty of paper towels available as well. The food truck is in a little lot right next to sonic, and Julis is the red food truck with an awning covering 4 picnic tables. Everything was very clean and we were able to enjoy our meal outside on the tables. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are in the east Austin area, and looking for authentic Mexican food!

SXSE Food Co was one of the participating restaurants, and I wanted to take the opportunity to try Laotian food. The food was solid, with the flavorful sweet and savory balance similar to Thai and Vietnamese food. The skewers were solid but the crispy fried rice was my favorite dish. It had amazing texture with the crispiness and chewy nature of the sticky rice. There's also freshness from the herbs. The dish overall reminded me of the savory sticky rice with Chinese sausage we make in Cantonese cuisine, and the nostalgia made me love it that much more.

There's even some coconut for those rich, toasted notes to round it all out. Just be sure to specify vegan because they also have a version with beef. They're parked out at Vacancy Brewing which means you're never too far from an excellent option to soak up that last beer.

All nestled in top of a freshly made corn tortilla. I found out it was still hot when I tried to pick it up. No matter, I moved a bit of the nestled tapa topping to let the steam escape. In the second attempt, success led to an amazing combination of crunch, cheese, tender pulled meat with diced onions, cilantro, lime and red salsa... Twilight Zone experience. I got the Bussin fries and here are my thoughts. Crinkly cut fries were pretty good, crispy with good substance. Chicken was crispy on the outside and still juicy inside. My main issue was that the chicken really tasted like it was over-salted. I actually added extra pickles of my own to it to break up some of the salt. Even though, I had a tough time finishing it all just because of the salt content. I must've received a bad batch with a heavy hand. Other than that, the flavor was good, I just wish the chicken wasn't over-salted.

My husband devoured the crispy dogs and said they were super tasty. The nachos were packed full of toppings (see photos) and had wonderful flavor.
