Stopped into Beau's for the first time this past weekend, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Everything we ordered was amazing, my favorites were the pancakes and crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was so crispy and the cilantro and pickle helped balance it out. The pancakes were the favorite of the table as they were crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside with a delicious hint of orange zest. I come here with my family for a late breakfast. My family ordered pancakes and asked to get the orange zest out and the server said "it comes in the flour." We eat it and my mouth is like I had an orange exploded in my mouth. We waited for the check and we waited so long that the baseball team asked"who wants to meet at lunch?" We ordered pancakes with side of sausage, the chicken breakfast sandwich with pepper crust and jam on a fresh biscuit. It came with a small side of green and lemon vinaigrette. And my girlfriend got a pastry puff with creme fresh. I apologize I can't remember the names of the dishes I wished I wrote to review immediately. So the food was absolutely amazing. My chicken biscuit sandwich was unbelievable. O had asked for the egg over medium with yolk gelled. It came perfect. It was so good I ate slowly because I didn't want it to end up the greens were fresh and the lemon vinaigrette was light and fresh. Perfect. Seriously one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Just writing this makes my mouth water. As you can see the pancakes were very fluffy and has an incredible fresh taste. Soft in middle and slightly crisp on edge. Perfectly cooked. The Burbon maple butter was subtle and amazing. Nothing was overpowering. Tastes blended perfectly. I'm not normally a sausage eater but the sausage was fantastic too. Buttery and fresh. No weird textures. Just delicious taste. I ate one of my daughter's sausages. My girlfriend's puff pasty was light, fresh and delicious. For as light as it was it was surprisingly filling. The fruit and toppings were fresh and delicious. I know I keep repeating myself but the only way to describe the food is fresh and delicious. This is a must try restaurant! If I could give it more stars I would. I promise to go back and get the proper names of the dishes. I had to mention to the manager how pleased we were. I asked him to be sure to keep the cook and not change the recipes as sometimes a restaurant is great when it first opens them they get lazy. This would break my heart because the food was perfect. What an awesome find! This new cafe is a must try! The owners Lydia and Daniel have created the cutest little cafe with an incredible menu and delicious coffee bar. Every single item we ordered was incredible and I would order again. We split the Dutch baby, the breakfast burrito with bacon, and the breakfast potato. The breakfast potato was THE BEST potato I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. The Americano, cappuccino, and seasonal lattes were also delicious. The prices are so reasonable and excellent food for that value. They service was quick and the workers were all very pleasant to talk to. We even got to chat with Lydia and Daniel who are so friendly. We can't wait to go back-- it is our new breakfast and lunch go to in Lexington. read more

The food is fabulous! Had the pancakes and they are so good! This is the second time we've gone here and both times the service is a bit to be desired. It wasn't even very busy when we've been there. The prices, i know everything is so expensive but it's a bit too much here. $13 for two pancakes, $4.00 for a side order of 2 eggs and another $4 for a side of bacon. The space is really cute! We ordered an array of items and I thought everything was good. We got the Dutch baby -- which I wanted to try. It was a little burned and not enough food for $15. I think it's (the Dutch baby) overpriced and meh. I wouldn't order it again. I'd like to try pancakes next time. The potatoes were good, but not earth shattering like some reviews. The burrito was delicious. But somehow 2 coffee drinks, 1 potato, 1 burrito, 1 omelet, and a side of eggs became $80 with tip. Outrageous! I want to go back, but I'd split 1 entree and 1 pancake order. Everything was cooked exceptionally well. You can check out with Apple Pay at your table, which we liked. The service was also really good. I think they need to add a breakfast plate to their menu, which they have for kids. Eggs, meat, 1 biscuit, or 1 pancake (for a few dollars extra). Or maybe add the 1 pancake to the ala carte menu. I hope they last and figure out pricing a little, I think some people may not try it twice over the pricing, even if it's that good (except the Dutch baby) lol! read more

I came in with my parents on a Monday a couple weeks ago in the afternoon and had such a lovely meal! I wish I had taken photos but we were too busy enjoying the food to pause The pancakes were a very generous size, fluffy and perfectly cooked. The breakfast potatoes are layered scallop style and served in a beautiful triangle crispy and delicious. Side of scrambled eggs were light and fluffy. The breakfast biscuit my dad really enjoyed and looked great as well - he's a tough biscuit customer so that means a lot . I had the soft scramble on toast & fingerling potatoes - both a special that day and couldn't have been happier! Both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also split a Dutch baby and wow wow wow! So bright and tart berry lemony I highly recommend adding this if you're in the fence ! Service was wonderful and the setting was cheery and comfortable. Stumbled upon this new cafe in Lex! We were immediately greeted by the owners upon walking in and offered a complimentary chai tea. The food was beyond delicious and won't be found elsewhere. I was a little disappointed in the experience I received at this restaurant. They sat us down after a couple minutes of waiting at the front. I thought it was fine and didn't really care. I thought it looked nice, with its green ceiling and the way the tables looked. So, we ordered and it took about 15n minutes for the food to arrive. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon and avocado. When it arrived I thought it was pretty good, but they make the pancakes very sweet. It was almost too sweet for human consumption. I ate it, but I didn't like it. I had some family with me as well. They ordered some Bloody Mary's. They arrived in about 5 minutes. We all ate and enjoyed each others company. Later, they started to want some more Bloody Mary's. The waiter came and went to the bar with the order. It took them 10 minutes this time to bring the drinks. They needed 3 whole people to maker the drinks. It was apparently too difficult of a task for them to do the right way. Anyways, later, for some reason, the lights kept going out and was kind of annoying. They really should look into that. Also, the waiter was never around to help us when we needed things and was always talking to her co-workers at the bar. I really think that this restaurant has a lot of potential, but they are not making it the place I would enjoy going to.
