My friend, the ULTIMATE shopper, left empty handed. To be fair, she was just there 2 days prior, so that explained it. Top things I love about this store: the helpful and friendly store associate, the rare finds, and the pjs - OMG, the pjs! The softest material for pjs I have ever felt. They are like butter! I purchased a pair for myself and I now know a great gift for others who love pjs. My friend told me they have amazing sales. I am sure I will be back. They have a smaller collection but the owner was nice and asked what she could do to fit my style. I was in a bit of a rush to get to spin class so I don't get much time to look but they have some really cute dresses at VERY reasonable prices. I would just say the selection wasn't as large as i expected and I felt being in my 30s the style was a little young for me. The shop does not face the street so it can be difficult to find. Of all of the boutiques I have visited in the area this is by far the best one. Everything about this boutique surpassed my expectations. If you shop online at stores like Fashion Nova or Pretty Little Thing, this is definitely a great place for you to shop. She has clothes to fit almost any style, or occasion, the shoes are to die for, and the quality of everything was beyond what I expected. The owner provided excellent customer service and was so sweet and helpful, letting me know about which items were on sale and that if I return and the item I'm looking for is no longer available she assured me she would be able to get it. They appraised my items quickly, which I appreciated. I do wait in my vehicle while they do so, otherwise you do have to wait all day for them to appraise. My only gripe with this visit is besides the man who checked me in, the rest of the staff does still have an attitude problem. I asked the woman who checked me out which items they took because I just wanted to make a mental note of what I no longer had, and she really did have such an attitude about it and acted like it was a big inconvenience for her. I think at least if we are selling our items, we do have the right to know without attitude what items we sold. That being said, I will be back, but I wish that they had better customer service.

Only 3 items were accepted. Yoga pants (label inside peeling), and Gap Jean jacket, and a white dress from target. I really appreciate how organized this location is. By the appearance I'll say it's better than the last two locations I've visit ( Memorial, & Richmond) This Cypress location downfall is after they inspected your items. They will trash your clothing items that was neatly folded and well organized (& categorized: jeans/short/ athletic/ dresses/ sweaters) in separate bags, they will wrap all the items together. And NOT Correct it. Which is very disappointing and disrespectful. I would never sale any items in that condition, so why in the world would you think it's acceptable to return my items in that condition without correction. When I request her to correct it in the condition it was presented. She told me it was NOT HER JOB TO DO SUCH. no name badge is worn and I was told that shes not allow to give out names or share who is manager or supervisor, upon my request. Additionally::::: My large shopping bag (Burlington's ) which has individual bag inside (coach & Gap) since they only accept two bags. The Burlington shopping bag was completely damaged to the point I could NOT USE IT to secure my items. No shopping bags was replace. I was told they could give me trash bags! (I accepted) however they do NOT ACCEPT ITEMS if you bring them in a "TRASH BAG" This manager who given other people items away, was very aggressive and argumentative when being informed that she has given me items that do NOT belong to me. She wanted to get loud and say all items that was returned was mines. Okay. (That was the end of conversation for me) I tried to do the right thing. The honest thing. Then she proceeded to threaten to call the police if I did not depart in 5 minutes. Which I was completed with folding & organizing my items similar to how I brought them in, I was just placing them in the bags. Yet I'm still receiving texts (4x) after the threat, to come pick up my order. Girl I have exited it building, and you aware because you asked your team for your phone to take a photo of me and my car. This location definitely needs adult supervision. And the youth "manager" needs some improvement. Tip::::: I would also suggest, reviewing the cameras to acknowledge performance and the blending of items, as well as returning unpurchased items to the "Correct" sellers.

Back home when I would take things to Plato's Closet, I never left with them not taking anything. I really think this place honestly has too much inventory because when you look at the racks everything is so crammed in. On top of that, 3 hours for them to go through your clothes? That's ridiculous, especially when I look and there's significantly less than what Uptown Cheapskate is appraising and they can get the job done in 20 minutes. I've been to two Plato's Closets back home and they took MAX an hour on a busy Saturday. I was here on a Tuesday evening. My advice would be to not even bother.

It's right next to a bunch of other similar stories on the south side of 290 in a busy plaza area. Perhaps because it's busy, it's quite disorganized and sometimes I think they didn't find good staff yet. We found a few good things that we wanted in this store and we like shopping here and looking for items for both my Barbie and myself. So it's not bad at all and it's right in the heart of Cypress but a little difficult for traffic.

There's an assortment of items and prices are as expected for a resale shop of this size. Service is friendly, welcoming and not overbearing.
