They also remember your name and greet you as if you're one of their own members. The culture of this box is great. Very warm, encouraging, and upbeat. The members introduce themselves, make an effort to get to know you, cheer you on, and are super nice. It's also maintained very well and super clean! The workouts are great. They encourage mobility with ROMWOD's every Wednesday, camaraderie with PartnerWOD's, and strength training with barbell driven movements in metcons. My go to in Sugar Land when at home visiting my parents! Pick up some cool swag, too!

Well I've been coming here for about 6 months, I'm disabled and use a power chair, one thing I've…read morenotice is when I arrive, almost always there are these big lifted 4x4 pickups parked in the handicapped parking spots, I'm drive a big Van and I need that extra room to load/unload my chair. One day I came out and found someone parked their motorcycle on the striped lanes between a car and my van, I had to ask a stranger to back my van out so I could get in. Also you do not have push button door openers, most of the time I'm lucky and either staff or a stranger would open the doors for me but there have been times when I was ignored by staff and patrons. Also I would like to see wheelchair height accessible work out tables so us wheelchair users can transfer to the table and do our exercise that we might normally do on the floor but are not able to transfer to the floor and get back into their chairs. Also, this is a bit personal but yall need private areas with a shower and changing table etc. some of us have personal issues such as not wanting to be embarrassed because we have to wear certain types of protection IE: Diapers or colostomy bags, Foley catheters and leg bags, I'm sure you get the picture. I feel rather uncomfortable, intimidate etc when I have too lay out on a bench after showering just to put my diapers on in front of all these young and grown men and being watched and occasionally a child. I hear the chuckles and the snickers. My suggestion is if you can build a special shower room or perhaps install a height adjustable changing table with a privacy curtain in the regular locker room. I also take issue with the fact that the handicapped stall isn't wide enough to accommodate my chair and myself and 9 times out of 10. Someone who isn't handicapped has taken up residency in the handicapped stall and is just sitting there playing with their phone knowing fully well that I'm wanting to use that stall, I see this all the time, there will be two stalls open and the non handicap person will take the handicap stall. Now on to safety, I like to enjoy the steam room and sauna, but they are lacking safety rails inside them, these are slip hazards, they do make rubber floor mats for that as well. I like using the pool but must of the time the water is too cold for me and many of the older users, it causes our muscles to spasm and can be quite painful. We like the hot tub, but what we don't like is the 10 min timer, we no more get back into the hot tub and we have to get out and start it again unless someone nice comes along and does it for us. Last but not least, I would like to see the Rosenberg location turned into a 24 hour location with a his and her Steam room and sauna. I understand that the Sugar Land location is 24/7 and has steam room/saunas in each locker room. I also wanted to add this, the cycling room needs a couple of recumbent bicycles so people like myself who are disabled can participate in group classes, I also noticed that in the other group exercise room, everyone is on the floor, I can't get down onto the floor, if a couple of padded benches were added, people such as myself would be able to benefit from the group exercise's.

Once there you scan your guest pass. The welcoming process wasn't that welcoming by the front staff workers. They barely made eye contact or anything. Location for the class was odd being off in the corner from a gym full of kids in a summer camp. Yet once we entered into the cycling studio Dan definitely did bring a more bright and uplifting aura. The music was vibrant and the exercise was nice and challenging. The spin class is every Tuesday at 6:30pm and guest can come every 60 days I think but you can't reserve a spot in the class. You'd have to wait until a spot opens. So that can be a bit nerve wrecking if many come that day. So shoutout to Dan for making the experience amazing!

During summer camp, we experienced multiple situations involving staff making fun of my child and behavior that I felt crossed the line into bullying. As a parent, it was incredibly upsetting to hear that adults who were supposed to be providing a safe and supportive environment were treating my child this way. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I reported my concerns to management multiple times throughout the summer. I expected the concerns to be taken seriously, investigated, and addressed appropriately. Instead, I repeatedly felt dismissed and that very little was done to correct the situation. Parents should be able to leave their children in Life Time's care knowing they will be treated with kindness and respect. Children should never feel mocked, singled out, or bullied by the adults responsible for supervising them. We have invested a significant amount of money in our Life Time membership and trusted them with our children. After repeatedly bringing these concerns to management and feeling like they were never taken seriously, I'm incredibly disappointed in how this was handled. I hope Life Time takes a serious look at the culture, training, supervision, and accountability within its child care programs. No parent should have to repeatedly advocate for their child just to have concerns about staff behavior taken seriously.

Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he was extremely friendly. He checked my strength, flexibility, etc. At the end, when he asked if I had any questions, I asked him to help me on the leg press and he did! He suggested other workouts I should do afterwards. I came during the day time, when it wasn't busy and in the afternoon when it was busy. Both times were pleasant. NO ONE slammed their weights!! Was there a lunk alarm?? Everyone seemed respectful of others around them, asking if they can jump in between sets. However, wiping down equipment seemed to be a foreign concept here. They have the standard equipment that would be at every gym. All the weights are on the first level and the dreaded cardio on the second level...although the stairmasters are on the first. They also have cycles throughout the gym, I was excited to hop on one for the first time in years. Can I just take a moment and point out the old and rusty machines?? This isn't my home gym, but still...why haven't they been replaced? I get that they aren't broken or in need of repair, but all that rust can't possibly be good. I recently moved home to take care of a sick parent, and slowly felt my body getting soft & puffy, and my energy greatly diminishing. I typically work out at the Y downtown, and although this location does not top my favorite location, I was pleasantly surprised. There are high ceiling in the machine area, which is important to me...I have been to some locations with low ceilings, and it does not make for a good workout experience for me. The staff member who greeted me was curt, and borderline rude. I explained to her that I had never been to this location before, and if she could give me a quick rundown. I asked her how to get to the machines, and she pointed to the correct door. I asked her if there were small lockers for wallets and change, and she said "you'll see them when you get in there"...she didn't bother to point out the rest rooms, locker rooms, pool, etc. She was more concerned with me scanning my card immediately to be sure that I was a "city wide" so she could quit dealing with me if I wasn't. This location does not have individual TV screens on each machine, and does not offer towels...you have to bring your own. Also the sensor for bottles on the water fountain in the workout area was broken. All of the machines were nice, clean, and fairly new. I went during the day and the crowd was a nice mix of seemingly decent folks. I will definitely go back here without any issue. I would rate this lower due to the staff, but the environment was pleasant, and after the initial orientation, there is little reason to interact with staff.
