After she signed up, she was offered a "free" personal training session, and we decided to do it together. During that session, we worked with a trainer named Joseph and made it very clear multiple times that we were on a budget and could not commit to anything long-term. He reassured us more than once that we would be able to cancel at any time. He even apologized later and tried to make up for the confusion by offering another "free" session, but by that point the situation had already gone too far. That reassurance is the only reason we agreed. As soon as we realized the cost wasn't manageable, we came back in person to cancel--multiple times. Each time, we were left waiting for long periods with little to no help, while staff stood around and watched. On top of that, no one ever answers the phone, which makes it nearly impossible to get assistance without physically coming in. The way we were treated during this process was honestly shocking. Instead of being helped, we were met with resistance and dismissiveness. The fitness manager, Mac, went as far as implying that we were "scamming" simply because we were trying to cancel--based on what we were clearly told when we signed up. That was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. At no point were we trying to take advantage of anything. We were just acting on the information that was given to us upfront. The lack of accountability and communication has made this situation way more stressful than it ever needed to be. I will say the general manager took the time to listen, which I appreciated, but there has been no follow-up since then. Honestly, the most disappointing part of all of this is that my friend was treated so poorly after I was the one who recommended this gym to her. What should have been a positive experience for both of us turned into something stressful and upsetting. After this experience, we will not be returning to this location at all. I will either continue going to EōS Rosenberg, switch to another gym like Amped Fitness, or possibly cancel my membership altogether. This was just a horrible experience overall. Being told that the price hike is part of their "commitment to a premium membership experience" is honestly frustrating. The experience hasn't changed enough to justify these repeated increases, and loyalty clearly doesn't matter here. The gym is CLEAN. Very nice aesthetic and not overwhelming. I forgot to ask, but I think they offer boxing? There's a boxing ring in the middle of the gym. That was awesome to see and very rare! My workout with Bailey was INTENSE, but in the best way. He pushed me past the limit that I thought I could do, but made sure I was always comfortable and not in pain where my injuries are. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

I joined Kinetix Fitness in Jan 2025 as it was walking distance from my home residence. The gym has…read morefriendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere of members looking to come in, work out, and go on with their daily activities. My membership was going great up until a recent unexpected note in August 2025 that the gym's lease had ended and would need to move a location further away. Their initial email notice on August 8th at 325pm CST was clear and transparent, but the follow-up to members was not clear and timely as expected. I sent a follow up email on September 3rd, 2025, to find out when the new location will be open as we did not get an update since August 8th, 2025. I got a reply on September 6th, 2025, advising that they will not make the September 8th, 2025, target date and it would be extended due to a reassessment review from the fire marshal. The same day, September 6th, 2025, Kinetix sent a note to all members with the update plus charging September membership. At first, I understood the reasoning for the delay, but I did not agree that Kinetix would charge members for the month of September since the facility is still closed and provided no supplement to members that did not have access to a gym. After careful consideration, I decided to cancel my membership and request my September charge be refunded/prorated since they charged my account for a facility that is not operable. I am not sure when they will be open, but as of right now the gym is still temporarily closed on November 3rd 2025. It is unfortunate that the gym had to move and have a temporary closure, but I do not agree with charging memberships in September when the gym is closed. I would have appreciated not charging members accounts till facility is back up and running since they closed at the end of August 2025. My account has been cancelled, but now I am requesting my September charge be refunded and awaiting a reply. Neal advised on September 19th, 2025, that the request has been submitted and it may take a billing cycle to my account. Another follow up was provided by Neal on October 16th, 2025, to resolve after multiple emails, and still now no refund has been provided. I am sure I am not the only one that is dealing with these unfortunate issues, but I wanted to share my review/experience to those that may be thinking about joining Kinetix in the future. I do not recommend this gym as there are cheaper and much better options in the area.
