Dinner plate

Delicious food! Staff was great and food came out super fast. The pulled pork and chopped brisket were great. The creamy baked cheesy grits and cream chili creamed corn were absolutely delicious. Their bbq sauce was great too. Bread didn't taste like much. Plate was a ton of food.

The BBQ was delicious first off. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The inside was a perfect display of Yellowstone and all its pretty picturesque sights to see. How ever they didn't have sliced brisket which is why I even went in.. and they didn't have the drink I wanted even though it was offered on the menu so that was a double rejection which is why 4 starts are are given. But stopping here on our road trip from CA, AZ, NV, ID, MT, UT, WY to enjoy Yellowstone national park this was good stop to end at.

Service great, brisket sandwich great. Loved the bbq sauce. Glad we stopped in for lunch, it was definitely good. I didn't love the baked beans.

Pulled pork platter with creamed corn and coleslaw

Very very good barbecue in West Yellowstone! It was full on a Saturday night so you know it's good! I had a very hard time choosing between all of the sides because they all looked phenomenal. I went with the pulled pork platter that comes with toast, and a side of the creamed corn. I am so happy I went with that choice, because it was the best at the table! We also ordered a side of their homemade potato salad, which was tasty. I sampled my friends cowboy caviar (a mix of black eyed peas, beans, and corn) and it was pretty good!

Excellent service and food! They have gluten free meat and sides. Izzy was our server and we had the ribbon meat combo along with four sides. They were all gluten-free. The only thing that isn't gluten-free is their sausages according to what they said. No gluten-free bread though. Thank you so much for an excellent lunch.!

Bad dog with green chili corn

Since it was cold and rainy, I was craving for something hearty and tasty. Looked through Yelp and decided to go with my fellow yelpers. Plus the Bad Dog got my attention. Parking was easy on the streets. Nice ambiance with a few TVs with sports on. Service was simple and quick. We ordered our meals and waited patiently for it. The Bad Dog with topped with brisket was phenomenal!! It was so much good, but soooooo delicious! Pair it with the green chili corn...OH EM GEE!!! And then washing it down with Coke! AAAAGGGHHH!! Dang it, I want some now! I enjoyed my meal very very much, but unfortunately my tummy could only handle so much food. I couldn't finish my corn =( My boyfriend enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich very much, but probably not as much me and my dog, lol. Would definitely come back when we're back in town!

Chopped Pork, Chopped Brisket, Grits, Cowboy Caviar, Potato Salad

Friendly service, came by often to check up. They were out of sliced brisket and ribs, a little disappointed as it was 1pm on a weekday. Everything tastes as expected, the grits were my favorite part. Brisket was not too dry and the potato salad had a good proportion of ingredients

PARKING // Free and ample parking around the back. Dirt lot, tons of space for autos & autos w/trailers. EXTERIOR // Western type of setting. Very appropriate as with being near Yellowstone. INTERIOR // Country western motif. Casual environment. Basic wooden tables and chairs, small bar that you can sit at and limited seating for approximately 15 to 17 tables. FOOD // sliced brisket barbecue beans and coleslaw were outstanding. Very good BBQ and you can always tell if the BBQ is going to be good based upon how good the baked beans are. SERVICE // Prompt and friendly. Attentive, bit not overwhelming. SIDE NOTE // While on vacation, more than once people ASS-UMED my friend and I were a couple. Stop judging and assuming. It makes you look stupid and ignorant.

Not the best BBQ I've ever had, but I'll definitely take it! Service was slowwwwwww. But worth the wait because the food is really great!

I visited Madison Crossing Lounge the evening before running the Yellowstone Half Marathon, and it…read moreended up being one of the highlights of my trip. I arrived around 7 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta with a side of bread. The pasta was outstanding -- easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The combination of braised chicken, prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and creamy parmesan-mascarpone sauce came together perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, rich, and satisfying without feeling heavy or dry. As someone preparing for a half marathon the next morning, it was the perfect carb-loading meal. I also ordered the Huckleberry Sundae for dessert. If you're visiting the Yellowstone area, do yourself a favor and try something with huckleberries. The ice cream, topping, and whipped cream were fantastic, and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts from the trip. One unexpected bonus was getting to chat with other travelers at the bar, including another runner who was also working toward completing a half marathon in all 50 states. It added to the friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Overall, Madison Crossing Lounge delivered excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. I don't hand out many five-star reviews, but this one earned it. If I'm back in West Yellowstone for another race or a visit to Yellowstone National Park, I'll absolutely be returning. You don't have to be dressy or childless, but the menu and ambiance are ever slightly more grown-up than other options. Prices reflect that while still being reasonable. Standard salads were refreshing start to unwind after crowds at Yellowstone. Excellently buttered and pan-seared trout with grilled asparagus and sauteed snap peas were wonderful. Timing is everything. Try to arrive before 6pm to avoid the queue. (Restaurant opens at 5pm; moderate sized dining room.) The (Montana-sized portion of) huckleberry ice cream seemed popular with many diners.

After a particularly warm day of hiking, my husband and I resolved to try OTC -- especially since signs read that it was established in 2023. Keeping restaurants open is very hard work. I was interested in trying a buffalo burger while my husband looked forward to more trout. Since this is a family-friendly restaurant, perhaps the entry should be rethought. The door directly opens to the bar, which has high tables where families can be seated. (Here, we chose seats so we could watch the World Cup match.) There's another room with more conventional, lower tables. I asked for sliced jalapenos to be added the buffalo burger with cheddar, lettuce, sliced tomato, diced raw red onion on a toasted bun. Diners can specify to what extent the buffalo is cooked: medium or med rare are recommended. Substitute side fries for a side salad (romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheese & crutons) for a nominal fee. * Ask your server to hold the cheese on the salad if you don't prefer it. Very friendly bartender and wait staff. We appreciated the periodic check-in throughout our meal.

It was mostly just layers of wrap and felt way too bready and overpriced for what you actually got. Stick to the boxed lunches and you'll be very happy!
