Honestly I thought it was just another bagel concept. But then my bagel came and the bagel wasn't dense like all the rest. What makes business owners successful is their ability to differentiate themselves from the rest of the products out there. This was so light and airy and had a really good pull that it was probably the best bagel I've ever had. Probably better than Panera bread or Einstein's. This place is incredible inside. Very hip cafe with cute signs on the walls and very friendly and helpful baristas. They had gluten free bagels and are attentive to not cross contaminate by placing a paper in a special toaster. Cream cheese for gf is also separate container. She suggested not getting a sandwich bc those eggs and meats may not be gf safe. I REALLY appreciate the care and knowledge. Also with a peanut allergy she also was mindful of how to help us. I got the gf bagel. $1 up charge and it was a crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside plump bags. It was udi's brand and delicious with a generous cream cheese. Kids got Asiago and everything bagels and loved them. Only thing , I wish they had heavy whipping cream. I would've tried the coffee if they did. We have been hoping for a good bagel place to come to the area and ventured into Bears Beans and Bagels after church for lunch. Coffee was very smooth. We drink it black and some (like Charbucks) leaves a bad aftertaste. Our sandwich on the cheese bagel was great. We will be back to try it out on a Saturday morning. I am so happy they opened up in Umatilla I limit myself to once a week the space is super cute with custom murals and just a friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in.
