I was craving ice cream and decided to take a drive in a town I've never been before. Upon arrival, the parking is very scarce. There was no one there so we were able to park in the front which was very nice. Entering the store was empty which is sad since the ice cream was delicious. The staff seems to be young but not mean which was nice. An older man came in as we were leaving and was very friendly and nice. He had an apron on as he was working. Overall, if I'm in the area, I'll drop by but I won't go out of my way to try it. read more

They have probably 25+ flavors. I got a small bowl of moose tracks and they asked which one- there are 4 varieties of moose tracks. They have a few tables inside be a few outdoor tables. One was covered in dead mosquitoes GROSS. It was also a bit expensive. read more

We have gone several times since I discovered they had opened. The Working Cow ice cream is very good and I have tried several flavors, such as Creamsicle and strawberry, which are both excellent. A friendly couple runs the place and I think it will make a fine long-tern addition to downtown Eustis if it makes it. I wasn't overly impressed with the hot fudge sundae, as the hot fudge was just chocolate syrup squirted out of a plastic bottle like we have in our own fridge. But perhaps that will improve in time. They also have simple hot dogs if you want to have a bit to eat without leaving the Ferran Park area. We will keep going back! read more

This gem was definitely a piece of home for us! Growing up in downtown Kissimmee, my husband and I were spoiled with family shops like this one. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Wait was short and the working cow ice cream selections are fantastic! My toddler daringly helped herself to the "Superman" flavor. My husband and I had a mix of sample sizes and a cone. If you're a fellow eggnog fanatic like myself - I highly recommend the eggnog ice cream flavor of the month! We tried two paninis which both had a garlicky butter, one ham and one turkey. The ham was most favorable. The menu includes floats, milkshakes, sundaes, hot dogs, etc. LS is a few steps to Ferran Park which makes ice cream and a walk in park simple to enjoy a family evening out and about. Two college friends and I stopped in after walking around downtown; and, taking a tour of Wolf Branch Brewery. We had to wait for the train; and, had just enough time to get something to cool down with. We walked in and were greeted immediately; and, then got our ice cream! On this visit, I had the Maple Walnut and it was so very, very good that it reminded me of the summers I spent in Canada with my cousins. That's where I first tried this flavor decades ago! What an amazing find, along the lakeside in Eustis! My wife and I took a daycation trip, spent some time relaxing on the lakefront walk, and then accidentally stumbled upon this little ice cream parlor, just before dinner. Very friendly girls working there, offering I've cream samples (more flavors than you could ask for), and putting together the creations we asked for. Cutest decor, too! Don't miss this little shop! My husband and I stopped here while out on a date day, as we enjoy trying new ice cream shops when we're out together. This ice cream shop was the cleanest and tastiest we've been to! The ice cream was fresh, full of flavor, and they had an extremely wide veriety of flavors to choose from. I would personally recommend the Oatmeal Cookie Crave, tastes just like an Oatmeal cookie, and was the best ice cream I've ever tried. I would compare this place to cold stone creamery in veriety and price range. However, Lakeside Scoop was very friendly in their welcome, helpful, and allowed us to sample a few flavors before deciding on what we would have. The hot fudge sundae was delicious however way overpriced at $6.79 for a single medium scoop and topped with peanuts. At that price I at least expected almonds or pecans. I prefer to support local businesses but at that price I'll go to Baskin and Robbins. The prices are much higher than other ice cream shops . read more
