A very nice lady named Mercelle manages it called me the next day confirming my reservation and offered to email me the paperwork to sign because I wasn't close by. On move in day I realized I wasn't going to arrive during business hours so I called her to ask for direction on what to do. She left my unit unlocked for me with a sticky note inside containing instructions I would need. We actually wound up needing a lock after hours (they use a special cylinder lock, take my advice: just buy it from their office and save yourself the hassle) and I called and left a VM that we needed help getting a lock on our unit. The moment Mercelle heard the message she put a lock on our unit and locked it up for us until we arrived to pick up the keys! 10/10 recommend this company and location. They work hard to remove some stress of moving and are very accommodating.

Within the 1st week I had to go to our storage only to find water had drops on the hood, deck lid / trunk and the top of our vehicle that were bigger then a silver dollar. I had brought it the the attention of Melissa at the office that says its condensation. I was offereda plastic covering for my vehicle but what would be the pointof renting a inclosedstorage. Melissa and I had taken pictures of the damage due to the water that was dripping where the screws are screwed in to the aluminum sheet metal roofing directly above my vehicle. This issue was happening constantly as it would rain or snow and as the snow would melt. I had asked if the screws had a sealant to keep the water from entering my storage unit. Melissa said that she will contact the maintenance and have them check. The office staff was appoliget and said that we would need to file a claim with the insurance of the storage facility. My wife had done all the necessary forms along with pictures but only to get the run around between the storage facility and there insurance companie. On 1/30/2025 I had gotten a call from the insurance company telling my that there is no structure damage so my car will not be getting fixed the the insurance company of lakeside storage. On 1/312025 I had received a call from the office at lakeside storage telling me that the owner said she is not responsible to the damaged paint on my vehicle. On April 1/2025 I had talked to the maintenance guy that had said he had fixed the roof in January. This is a business that does not care about your belongings that you have worked so hard for. I strongly believe that your property should come out of a inclosed storage, in the same condition it gone in the storage. The owner has conditioned the office staff to say anything that would keep them from paying for any damages to anyone's property as they said " its condensation ". Because they say its condensation they refuse to take responsibility of your damaged property. I would highly recommend anyone who is at lakeside storage to find a professional storage facility. DO NOT rent from aaa lakeside storage unless you want your property damaged. As a residence of Provo we should NOT allow businesses like this to stay in business that have zero integrity/ honesty. As you see the property and how much the owner of lakeside storage appreciates her property, she only wants your money. We didn't have any problem with too many being rented out, and the worker was really helpful and understanding in working with us since we hadn't ever rented a truck before and weren't sure what to expect. Dropping off the truck was so easy--even though it was after hours, there was a website we just pulled up to be able to check in when we brought the truck back, take pictures of the required things, and turn in our paperwork. The charges were minimal for the miles/gas, and the base price was so low, it was such a painless process!

I came here almost a year ago to get my hitch installed and just recently my left blinker went out…read moredue to them not installing the wiring correctly. While looking to see why my blinker was not working I found more issues that had been due to them not installing everything properly. Such as them not securing my battery correctly with the bolts. This caused my battery to be loose and caused battery acid to leak. Luckily I caught the acid leaking before it caused any further damage. They did a very lazy install job considering how much I paid for them to do it. I recommend getting your hitch installed another place, or at the very least if you get it installed here double check that everything is put back correctly or you could have problems further down the road like I did.
