I was so glad to see this spot was still here when I visited Austin again a few weeks ago!…read more I visited this fun store about 5+ years ago when visiting a friend who lives in Texas and I remembered on this trip that they have a table with a bunch of crystals on it. We were nearby having lunch and walked over and it's still there! Tons of beautiful crystals and I was able to get a Rose quartz and two smokey quartz towers - all really good quality for insanely good prices. They have some great vintage clothing inside and some cute accessories and fun items. Great location near to some other cool shops and finds and Hillside Pharmacy for fabulous bites. Super friendly staff who wrapped my gems up with love and care for the trip back to VA. A+

Charm School Vintage is one of my favorite stores in our neighborhood…read more They've carefully curated vintage pieces with western flair (clothing, jewelry, etc). In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s. Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.

Everything feels intentional, designed for someone who knows what they're looking for or is open to discovering something unexpected. The selection of clothing, jewelry, and leather goods is especially strong, with standout pieces that feel both wearable and distinctive. The experience really sealed it, though, when the shopkeeper greeted me with, "Can I get anyone a cerveza, Topo Chico, tequila, mezcal, or bottled water?" Those are magical words. Between the hospitality and the uniqueness of the items, I couldn't leave without making a few purchases. This is as much about inspiration as it is about finding something special.

I had left several places before I found Blackfeather. They have a great selection of men's clothing also, depending on what you're looking for, you can probably find something you like here. The staff is super nice and will totally help you find whatever you're looking for. Definitely worth stopping by if you've been curious. It's located in the Springdale station shopping center so you can always make a date of it and hit the brewery after. Great pricing!

I pulled up to the cones cause there was no parking as there was very limited parking and asked if I could donate the stuff there or where I should park. The older white male that was working was very rude and basically ignored me while and after he helped somebody else. There are no signs designating where to park to donate items and he could have simply directed me. Another individual came out who was very nice and helped me. To clarify I was not rude to this individual and was asking for assistance. I believe he is racist and he refrained from looking at me or directly speaking to me.

Looking at this place from the outside, you would think there would not be much here, but there's definitely something to see once inside. It is in an L shape where all the ladies clothing is on one side and the men's clothing, knickknacks, glassware, and everything else is on the other side. Some yelpers complained about the smell of this place, but on my visit, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, except a mildly dusty aroma you would expect to find in any thrift store. Many of all the knickknacks and such are on short separate aisles, but all the shoes sit above the clothing racks. I didn't find anything on my visit here, but I was impressed with their decent selection of items. They also also have a very friendly positive staff that work here. Photos included to encourage a visit.

I was really excited to go thrifting at a few shops around Austin while we're in town, but…read moreunfortunately this experience completely changed that. If you have young kids, I wouldn't recommend bringing them here. As soon as we walked in, my two-year-old accidentally stepped in front of the employee, and her reaction was surprisingly rude. She immediately told me she was overstimulated and doesn't like kids in the store. She said he could sit on the couch but wasn't allowed to walk around. I understand setting boundaries if a child is being disruptive, but we had literally just walked in, and he wasn't misbehaving.... just being a toddler. I explained that he's only two and it's not realistic to expect him to sit still the entire time. After that, she gave me a dirty look and continued to stare at us while I tried to shop, even though I kept him right by my side the whole time. In the end, we decided not to spend our money somewhere that made us feel so unwelcome. It was disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to supporting local shops. Just a heads up for other parents this may not be the most kid-friendly place, and you might not feel comfortable shopping there with little ones.
