First time trying this restaurant/brewing company. I was impressed with everything, from the food to beer, to service, to wait time. I decided on a flight, fries, and shrimp tacos. It was hard to decide between that and the delicious sounding burgers! BearKing is comfortable and nicely appointed, with plenty of tables and a wonderful outside dining area. I will definitely be back, and soon I hope! read more

My wife and I have been going to Bear King Brewing Company for some time now and have enjoyed excellent service and delicious meals; however, today our experience was changed in an instance with the worst service we have experienced in a sit down restaurant in quite awhile. Our server had absolutely no idea regarding the menu items. My son and I ordered chopped brisket sandwiches, which included BBQ sauce; however, when we requested to receive more BBQ sauce, as the initial amount was almost non-existent, we were charged for additional sauce to complete the BBQ taste. When I asked about the additional charge, she just "blew me off". In addition, she did not come back to our table to provide any service beyond taking our orders, serving our meals and conveying us an "electronic bill". Apparently no paper bills were available! When I needed a soda refill, my son had to take my glass over to their soda machine himself. She only came by our table after we had completed our meals. As for the "chopped brisket sandwich" it was actually shredded instead of chopped, which was stringy at best. (We expected chopped brisket mixed with BBQ sauce, and instead received stringy shredded brisket with a dribble of BBQ sauce on top that was immediately absorbed into the bun). Fortunately for Bear King Brewing Company, this was not our first experience. If this was our first time, it would have definitely been our last! read more

We love eating here! Food is delicious! Great kids menu as well and they just added sandwiches to their full menu! Service is great- my favorite waiter is Fernando! Izzy is the sweetest and keeps the place looking clean! The patio is awesome! We can take our French bulldog and wild 2 YO! They have big overhead fans, cornhole and tvs outdoors. The inside is fun too! Lots of board games tor the kids to play! This is our "go to" each weekend. Glad we have this place in MF! read more

The food is pretty decent here, I love their truffle fries! We used to go here a lot when they had this Hawaiian style burger, it had a pineapple bacon jam dressing on it, but they took it off! We are really sad about that. The service is pretty good, it does get challenging when it is super busy. There is a place to sit outside under a covered patio, you can watch TV or look out towards main street. The inside also has TV's you can drink your beer, eat your burger and watch the game. Other than the burger they took off, the Farmer's Cut is my favorite with a side of truffle fries. read more

Great brewpub in the middle of downtown Marble Falls. They have a great patio and indoor space. We've been here a couple of times now and and they consistently have good beers. My boyf really likes their black IPA. Their COVID-19 protocols are a little annoying though - it just takes so much time to order through the site. Not sure why places do this, I think it's fine if you want to take the order at the front and not have waiter service, but ordering through a site on your phone is my least favorite thing a biz can do while I'm at the restaurant. Anywho - the food is good. Well seasoned burger and good tacos. If you're in the area, give them a visit if you're looking for good beer! read more

Best burgers we've had in marble falls. Tried many places here. Live in area. Try it!

Food was basic. Service was awful. We ordered drinks at the bar and paid and the guy walked away. My biggest takeaway was all the flies. They were all over us inside. Photos show them sitting on the windowsills by our table. read more

Great. So glad we came. Rose freeze was beyond awesome, fave of 2023 so far! Fresh food with good flavor and quick delivery. Little disjointed on the service side but I think they just changed menu and we went kinda late. read more

We got the burgers and all enjoyed them and the fries were fried to perfection. They are also dog friendly.

We were in town for vacation and wanted to find a spot that was dog friendly. I sat down at a corner table outside while my husband went inside to let them know we were dining. A girl comes out and points to 3 tables and said any of these 3. I got up and moved. We were the only ones on the patio at the time. Not long after, someone else comes with their dog, and they sat right where I originally sat, and they weren't told to move. Weird but moving on. My husband ordered a burger, and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. I ate half of mine. I wasn't a huge fan of it. He gave his a shot as well, but it was drenched in salt. He asked, "Am I overreacting, or is this really salty?" I tried a tiny piece, and it was super salty. He felt bad about asking if they could remake the burger. They did, and it was much better. I commend them for correcting it. However, I'm not sure how it came to pass to begin with. I'm sure the drinks are more satisfying but the food was a miss for us. read more

Great food, great beer, great service. Our go to spot in Marble Falls with or without kids. One thing is perplexing, though. My wife ordered a salad and chose to add the "fajita chicken" (The other option is "poached shrimp). The salad arrived with plain chicken- no seasoning whatsoever. When we asked the waitress she was confused and told us she had no idea. When we pressed her she asked us if we wanted her to ask the manager. "Sure", we replied. He was sitting at the bar with his head buried in his papers and didn't even look up when she spoke to him. She returned and said, "The manager told me the fajita chicken is just chicken without the fajita seasoning." I'm sorry- what?! That was it. That was his explanation. We all kind of stared at each other with our mouths hanging open but moved on and finished our lunch. This seems to me like a pretty easy fix. Either offer the chicken with fajita seasoning or don't call it fajita chicken. And don't let your servers parrot their manager's nonsense to customers. That's not fair. Tell him to grow a pair and come talk to us. (Yknow, the ones contributing to his paycheck?) I'm sure you don't want your customers pounding their heads on the table. That's not the look you're going for. But I love your beer though! read more

Just had the best breakfast at Bear King! Very big servings and all of us were beyond satisfied with our meals. The vibe is cool with indoor and outdoor seating areas. They also had an area with a small stage for local musicians, I assume. I plan to try lunch on my next trip to Marble Falls! read more

Great pit stop on our way through! Beautiful screened in patio with plenty of space in between tables. Ordering takes place on website. We enjoyed the beer and the food! I wish we'd known about the happy hour (we placed our order one minute before)...but other than neglecting to mention that to us, the service was great. We look forward to returning! (Great space for them to consider adding darts or Cornhole...but maybe they're waiting for infection control to not be as crucial). read more

SOLID 5 STARS. The food was fresh, hot, and lots of flavor. We had the nachos with brisket, could definitely feed two people, delicious! And the Legendary burger, only critique would be the pickle was not as crunchy as I prefer, but still a juicy flavorful burger, fries were great too! We had a the hefe and the pecan porter, they were both fantastic! They followed all COVID-19 restrictions to a T! And we felt very safe and comfortable dining in (it was my husband's first time dining in at a restaurant since March, so that's saying something). Will pray to the beer and food Gods to please send us a Bear King Brewery to Jonestown, TX! Also- special thank you to Kevin for helping us out in a pickle about printing a form. Super awesome food and a really fun atmosphere! We were able to get seats right away in the outdoor area, and we were greeted by our waiter not much later after that. The sweet tea is really good, and we started with some of the best cheese curds I've ever had. We ordered the full size wedge salad to share, as well as two burgers with fries, the Legendary One and the Lubbock. They came out super fast despite them being pretty busy both inside and outside, and they were some of the prettiest burgers I've ever seen, and even better to taste. While we didn't get any beer this time, trust that we'll be back to try some beer and more delicious burgers! read more

I've had guacamole tacos before and they are delicious but I should have known when it said avocado taco. The avocado was sliced, breaded then deep fat fried. Then the sauce was like a tartar sauce which would be good with fish tacos. It was so loaded that I could only eat one. Needless to say I was disappointed. My husband's grilled chicken was okay but nothing special. I think the food could be improved. read more

My boyfriend and I came here over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It was pretty full when we got there, but there was still space to sit and enjoy some brews and food. There were servers coming around every so often to take care of the tables, or you could go to the bar top. Since this is a brewery the beers are really what stand out. We got a flight to try a few different options, and some individual drafts. They have a style of beer for everyone! I loved the blonde The food is ok, neither of us were blown away by it. But still enjoyed. Would love to come back for more drinks when we're in the area! read more

Good food, okay beers. Unfortunately I thought I showed up to a brewery but instead I went to another twin peaks. My family's server was a young lady wearing a lingerie top of some sort. Seems highly inappropriate. It's hot here most times so shorts are understandable but a lingerie corset. Unbelievable... I didn't realize she worked there until she came up to us to take our order. Wasn't a good server on top of that. Was standing around with another young lady not checking on us. Then was very nonchalant and quiet. I have been here multiple times. Usually my servers are in a good mood and kind. The aura with this particular server was not good. Please get this figured out so I feel comfortable bringing my kids here without them having someones breasts half falling out of their top while also being mean. She had red tattoos or marker all over her arms. Will return in a few months hoping she won't be there. read more

The food and service were both terrific at this place. We decided to sample several things (Brussels sprouts, Potene fries, burgers, and wedge salad) and they were wonderful. However, if you don't care for much salt, ask them to leave it off and add your own. They sprinkle crunchy Kosher salt on top of everything and our bites often contained too much. I love salt, but I'm actually saying that there's was too much! We enjoyed the venue, too, and we will definitely return. read more

I enjoyed the atmosphere on the patio and I thought the food was good, not great (except for the fries - some of the best I've had). Tried this place on a Monday early evening. Three of us ordered the truffle fries appetizer and then two persons had the chicken fajita tacos and one had the birria tacos. Service was friendly and quick. Drinks were fine and truffle fries were super good. Better than I expected - so that's a plus. The tacos were mixed. The chicken fajita tacos presented beautifully, pulled with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, etc.. but the chicken was absolutely flavorless. No seasoning, so sign of grilling, just cooked white chicken - my wife said "is it boiled?". This would be so easy to fix by marinating and seasoning but it was just so bland. The birria, by contrast, was super delicious. It's more minimal in presentation, but full of flavor. I ordered mine in the corn tortilla which they deep fry just a little. Comes with a consommé that has cilantro and onion in it. Totally great. So very mixed. Will go back to try the burgers as they looked great. But please guys, fix that chicken fajita so it tastes as good as it looks. read more

Good craft beer. Good food. Indoor and outdoor space. Pets are allowed on the outside patio. Staff is very nice. Very casual.

Very efficient and competent staff (Chloe). Food was great! Shrimp po'boy was much better than I expected. Brisket sandwich very tasty and bun was strong enough to hold the plentiful filling. The new lemonades were fabulous. I had mango and good reviews from tablemates on prickly pear lemonade. Loved the tableside ordering system where order was placed to kitchen immediately and could pay by credit card on the same machine. Credit card should not have to leave the table and here it doesn't. Will definitely return here. read more

Bear King has a great local brewpub here! Glad I stopped in on my recent visit to the area. The selection of beers and food is not extensive, but has a good variety and is well executed. The beers run from a nice blonde to a few tasty stouts and even a barley wine... as well as the ever popular hopy beers. The food follows suits with a decent selection of burgers, tacos and some great appetizers. The poutine and the fajita tacos were a great standout and I would head ab ck just for those. The only constructive criticism I would offer is on tasters, they have a great flight available but apparently their system doesn't allow you to get (and pay for) a single taster, you can get a free splash or a half pour...but I wanted just a taster of the barley wine :). Maybe next time. To tie it all off, the staff here was super friendly and helpful and did a great job of keeping the tables cleared, the drinks filled and the food flowing. Keep it up y'all! Cheers! read more

Bear King Brewing not only produces some really good beer and their food is no slouch either. Sometimes breweries/restaurants aren't able to get the food/beer qualities on par with each other, but the Monkey Bridge Hefe I had was very good and refreshing. The food here is exceptional starting with the appetizers of Texas Poutine and Pimento Cheese Spread with grilled ciabatta bread to the Carnitas de Cali tacos. The Texas Poutine did not resemble a true Northern version, but the combination of fries, braised brisket, ancho cheddar gravy, and pico de gallo would impress anyone from Quebec!!! As for the pimento cheese...total WOW and having it on the grilled bread was an extra treat. The Carnitas tacos were delicious, nice heat, and great flavors. I also tasted a variety of other dishes served (we had three families dining) and all were delicious. Great service, beer, and food in a great atmosphere. read more
