I had a dead battery and my Farmers policy includes Roadside Assistance and towing. The first towing company they assigned to me never showed up after almost 2 1/2 hour wait, so Farmers reassigned me to Bear Flag Towing. Blaise showed up within 30 minutes and besides getting the car started was just an incredibly pleasant person to chat with. We talked about some of his more interesting towing jobs recently, and the more we chatted I realized what an intelligent and perceptive person he is. He told me he shares his name with Blaise Pascal, the person who invented the modern theory of hydraulics. He said this was interesting because hydraulics are a big part of the towing business. I showed him my 10-year-old sports car and we had a great time talking about the reliability of this particular brand. I can assure you if Blaise shows up you will be totally satisfied and you will have a very nice interaction with a fellow human! A few weeks ago... I was in a crisis. The police had towed the trailer that I just had gotten from a friend that owed me 2500.00$ for over five years. I hadn't had time to register it or put it in my name yet. I went to a friend's house for a couple of hours and when I came out my dog was removed from my car and the trailer was gone. I was blown away and had just enough money to get my puppy out of jail. I had to couch surf for two months. Bear flag in 930 Shiloh is the worst I wouldn't get it towed they gave my car back with a few dents and they gave it to me with a flat tier and when I saw my car it looks like they went through my belongings every thing was open like if they searched my stuff forgot to mention that the lady in the front desk was sleeping I had to wake her up when she woke up she started smoking her vape then it took her a few minutes to help me really unprofessional they got some lazy people in their off and they like to make new damages on vehicles read more

They were dispatched by my insurance, and after they accepted the job, I was waiting for over an hour. Surprise surprise they cancel and wasted my time causing my issue to extend past the working hours of the day and into the next. Unreliable even when they know the insurance will pay them and they've accepted. Can't say much about value but if you want to have the chance of them flaking and prolonging your issue, this is the company for you :) read more

100% would use Bear Flag Towing again. My car died around the corner from my house on the way to pick up my kids from school (worst timing ever!). I requested a tow thru my insurance and got an automated message saying the wait was 90-120 minutes. I decided to walk the rest of the way to school and within five minutes I got a call from John at Bear Flag Towing checking in seeing what was going on with the car. I told him I'd be back to the car in about 20 minutes and he said he would be right there. He jumped the car and asked if I'd prefer a tow home or for him to just follow me home to make sure it didn't die. When I contacted Bear Flag towing spoke with Peter and told him I needed to have my 1940 Nash transported to Fairfield, CA. He gave me a quote and Sid he would be to my location in about 45 minutes, he was there in 35. He had my Nash loaded and ready to go within 30 minutes. I was very impressed.
