Have had many quality visits to Traders, for both the food and coffee. One of our favorite is the…read moregluten free wrap sandwich and they always have a number of in season delightful desserts and baked goods if you have a sweet tooth. I recommend anything pumpkin from Traders. It can get very busy on the weekends, fyi, but worth it. Service is also quality as well and friendly.

Pumpkin patch latte seems to be the saving grace for this visit. When ordering the young man at the…read moreregister exuded a meh sense of interest in helping us with ordering. 180 degree difference than the greeting and help at Brenda's. The ambiance was busy and bit unkempt as there was no one available to clean the front of the house or tables outside. The bagel is ok, not the traditional bagel I've had from NY. Also very odd that they only offer plain cream cheese with bagels. No options for extra cheese or sausage in place of the egg but sometimes that is expected. My wife's quiche was meh, mirroring our help in ordering and more like an egg casserole than a quiche, the fruit was grapes and we thought that meant cut fruit, again no clarification from our cashier. The main items we enjoyed were the tap water and latte which we were expecting much better due to all of the comments and recommendations that other people have had that they gave us during our vacation. Not wowed, not too much in the way of customer service and we felt bad for the customer s next to us that seemed to have more issues than us with ordering and their service. Glad we stopped, got a punch in our hospitality card but found the whole experience to be just a little below average for the price commanded for what we ordered.

This spot is so fantastic. The outdoor spaces are amazing - with beautiful landscaping and plants…read moregalore. I asked a couple questions about the menu and was immediately directed to the BLT by a woman in the kitchen. Wow I wasn't disappointed. It was sooooo good. The bread was toasted perfectly (so it didn't kill the roof of my mouth), the tomato's and lettuce were fresh, the bacon crispy, and that basil mayo. A life changing BLT if there is such a thing. A couple side notes I appreciate. Bittersweet's marketing team deserves. Ton of credit - they have some awesome swag available for purchase. Also, this is a Christian oriented cafe with bible verses, messaging, and music. Love it! And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The name "Bittersweet Cafe" will take on a deeper meaning (the news articles can be found in the walls before the counter by the bathrooms). Cheers Bittersweet, thanks for having me, and God bless!

Absolutely beautiful store, inside and out, but especially outside. They have tables in the front…read moreof the store and out the back. Nice landscaping provides a near perfect setting to enjoy a cup of coffee. I ended up getting a simple red eye. It was delicious. I understand they brew Iron Star coffee out of West Mifflin. The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. Next time I'll try some real food. Just be aware that things are a little pricey here.
