After sending a bunch of quotes out on Yelp. Ruben reached out to me and told me he would go out to my place while I was at work and take a look at it. He got back to me with a quote and we agreed on the project. There was some delay because the availability of the mulch. Ruben suggested gorilla hair mulch for the project due to the high wind probe area. I am glad we went with that mulch, we have had some pretty bad wind events in the last week and the mulch has not moved at all, good call for suggesting that specific mulch. Overall very pleased with the work, and would recommend them for your landscaping projects.

The job specified that the wall would be replaced, as well as a slab of concrete. The day the wall was replaced, I was told by Jose that his concrete "guy" had a family event and would be out of town for two to three weeks and the job would be completed when he returned. He took a small amount off the total cost of the job with the condition that it would be paid when the concrete slab was finished. After approximately four weeks, and no word from him, I made several(over a dozen) attempts to contact him. I tried three different phone numbers, left many messages and never got a response back. My neighbor who is an ex commercial contractor highly recommended Isaac. He did not disappoint. He works for a very fair price, is reasonable, and his finish work is fantastic. He can be hard to get ahold of, but if you had as much work as he does, you couldn't answer every call either. Be patient. Be persistent. Be serious. He ALWAYS got back to us even if it took him a while. Isaacs crew showed up early, they were polite and respectful. We had some last minute work to do, we worked around them and they gave us some great tips. The pour came early, Isaac estimated the concrete correctly, (a bit over, but I'd rather be wayyyyy over than a tiny bit short). I got a miniature patio out of the leftovers. His crew did a bang up job. If I remember, I'll post when it sets but I am confident it will be fine. I will definitely hire him again for any other concrete work I need done. I was impressed first of all that they showed up when they said they would and completed my project in a reasonable amount of time. The quality of work is good as well. Just a note: The one bad review Michelle had on here, I decided to read more from that person and that person had issues with almost every company they have ever worked with, so keep that in mind when hiring Diamond Construction they do good work and if there was an issue it was probably not Michelle and her company that was the problem.
