Best coffee drinks I've had in Denver! the Cola Bear is phenomenal and so is there chai. The boba is great, also they have lychee jelly avaliable for those of us (like me) who don't like boba. This place is fabulous! I bought 2 large butterbeer coffees and a black & white cookie for just a few cents over $10! That kicks Starbucks's butt! There was a couple that ordered a waffle and it smelled amazing! They have so many choices that it really makes you keep coming back. Everything here is delicious!! My daughter picked this place for the Boba Tea....Still not 100% what that is, but I had Coffee the first time and regular tea on the next visit. I like the atmosphere and the menu. Free wi-if and a little "library nook." I am looking forward to returning this weekend. read more

This is probably my favourite coffee shop in Aurora. The staff is always super friendly and helpful when it comes to questions about the menu. I love how the coffee isn't too bitter like at Starbucks. I personally think the green tea and chai are also better here. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

I can't give more than 3 stars because the way management runs the place. I would give a 5 star rating if they had some personality to the place but it just seems like the baristas aren't enjoying the place while working and the "local" coffee shop vibe is kind of screwed up with a sort of corporate attitude. I have been a customer for years and never have they really done anything special for me...not even remember my name. Visiting from out of town and had some free time so I decided to check out this local coffee shop. The place is charming and is certainly better than the strip mall it lives in. The barista was friendly and was willing to modify my drink so it was less sweet. She even made a recommendation for the hamentashen cookie. They're very good and the perfect addition to my coffee. I love this coffee shop but the purple pink hair girl is TERRIBLE and has HORRIBLE customer service. She has no regard for how long people have been standing in line and has no care for people's time. I get coffee on my way to work and don't have 15 minutes to stand around while she takes her sweet time and then is RUDE when I express my opinion. This is my favorite coffee shop but I will turn around and leave now if she is working. She actually shoved my drink at me today. read more

Decided to give this place a try not knowing anything about it. I was meeting with a friend and needed an equidistant location in central Aurora not to far from South East Denver. So Bean Tree is a quaint little place for intimate conversation with another or by yourself doing some journaling or homework. I have to say though, sometimes I go to a restaurant wanting a little bit of everything, thinking to myself oh I wish they had this or I wish they had that...well Bean Tree had a little bit of everything. And..I was like oh this is too much. That's probably my issue but I felt I needed to say that out loud. Bean Tree had ice cream, coffee, pastries, and .....Boba Milk Teas. Which I love. So I did order a Thai Tea. But then as I watched her make it, I think she used normal milk and I was hoping for the sweetened condensed milk. Maybe the other places trick me with the milk too, but it just didn't taste the same. It is a nice place and it might just need a little bit of tighter identity. read more

After the Perky Cups disaster (see other reviews), I had avoided this coffee shop, but I wish I hadn't stayed away! I came here to study, and it was the perfect place. It wasn't too loud, there were plenty of outlets to plug in my computer, and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. The staff was also wonderful--so friendly to everyone who walked in! The coffee was also good--I tried the caramel crunch (yum). Plus, they have plenty of snacks and pastries. I will definitely be back! read more

I love the Thai Tea here. Every time I get this drink it's strong and creamy just the way it should be. Most Thai tea at other places uses powdered creamer and it's not fresh. I like that they use fresh milk/half and half here. And it's not water down either. Some Thai restaurants can't even compare to Beantree Coffee. Probably the best tasting coffee in all of the Denver Metro area, but...the customer service is the worst I've seen in a long time. These "baristas" sure know how to make great coffee, but they seem to hate dealing with people. While I was there, at least two customers placing orders said "good morning" to the young female taking the order and on both occasions, she didn't acknowledge the "good morning". She didn't say "good morning" back and one of the customers even said "good morning" again, and she just nodded her head and didn't answer back. Again, their coffee..."Top notch", Highest Quality", "Cream of the Crop"...Their customer service is just plain horrible. In all the time that I was there, those two women never smiled once. It looked like they hated being there. In a world of a million Starbucks, "mom and pop" coffee shops need to stand out, not only with good quality coffee, but with good quality employees that greet customers with respect, friendliness and professionalism. If they don't, like in this case, they won't stand out and customers will just go to one of the other many coffee shops just around the corner. read more

This place is my absolute favorite for getting coffee. My roommate and I are both grad students, and it's a great place to study as well. Coffee is top-notch, they have a lot of variety, and the ice cream/boba are great as well. Their wifi is very fast (puts Starbucks to shame!), and they make an effort to get to know their regular patrons personally. read more

This place is fantastic when it's actually open. This is the second time in the last two weeks that I have tried to come by and it has not been open. Last week, the employee didn't show up until 6:15 and today I show up at 6:26 and no one was there. I understand everyone has days, but for a business to run, you need employees that can be there on time and open a store when it's supposed to be open. read more

I am super impressed by this place. I was there on a Saturday when it was very busy. And I left my wallet there like a dumb dumb, and the staff picked it up for me. It was returned with all the cash which was about $600, and everything was in its place. I am super impressed by the staffs honesty, service, and great coffee!!! This place is a wonderful little local coffee shop. They even have ice cream too! The baristas are so nice & all of their coffees and drinks are 10283290 times better than you could get at Starbucks. They also have delicious breakfast burritos and their croissants filled with chocolate are sooo good. It's nice and cozy, everyone's very friendly. There is always a ton of parking as well. The lady with glasses was extremely rude this afternoon. Short with us and slamming stuff around like she hates her job. We came in by chance on the way home from school, but we will never be back again. We will get our boba from the Ocean Pacific Marketplace from now on. I ordered a Thai tea boba....she gave it to me in a boba cup but no boba in it. She was so extremely rude that I didn't bother asking her to fix it because I just wanted to get the heck out of there because she was slamming things around like psycho. read more

Excellent!!! Reviews scared me but I needed espresso and I'm from out of town. It was delicious espresso with perfect crema. The place is very clean and the barista was very nice. I used to go here when it was a Peaberry's. And I made one visit when it was "Perky Cups"-- the Hooters coffee shop others have referenced. That was indeed a bad idea. So it's nice that this is back to being a neighborhood coffee shop. As for the coffee, I've had no complaints. It's much better than the slop they make at the nearby Panera's. Wow, that coffee at Panera's is terrible. And I think it's just that Panera. Regardless, Bean Tree has great coffee, good atmosphere, and friendly help. Now, if they could offer more tantalizing food options, I'd give it a 5-star review. (I wind up getting my breakfast bagel at Panera and then driving over to Bean Tree for my coffee because it is impossible to find both at the same place.) read more

Hey Roger: 1. Is 25 Mbps is slow and iffy? Answer is No its very fast, most of other coffee shops have 7 Mbps. (Maybe you should stop download XXX on your computer). 2. Latte = milk, cafe latte = espresso, milk with foam (should be very creamy). you should drink regualr coffee or Americano. 3. You really need to grow up and learn how to be patient. Owner was willing to help you, but you didnt have 1 sec to wait. 4. You should learn how to connect to internet using your i-phone and mac. (you dont look cool with those anyway). read more

Hands down, this is the best coffee shop in Aurora! They have excellent, amiable staffs with positive attitudes & great service and offer delicious coffee drinks as well as great boba teas here. The interior is very cozy & warm and they also have a nice patio area up in the front of the shop. My favorite drink is Americano with an extra shot, both iced and hot. It's very dark & flavorful! Also, Bean Tree is reasonably priced. Everything is just peeeerfect! :) Definitely a must-try for coffee lovers! read more
