Friendliest coffee staff you'll find AND they have sugar free pumpkin spice flavors! Breakfast options were tasty too!

After seeing several of these coffeehouses around town, we decided to check this one out on our way back to SLC from Antelope Island. I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and 1 pump of caramel. My fiancé ordered a drip coffee. We also got 2 muffins - 1 blueberry crumble and 1 double chocolate. For all that, we only paid ~$10, which is pretty good for a coffee shop these days! Both of us felt the drinks and food were good but not anything remarkable. Upon first sip, my fiancé said, "well.. it's better than Starbucks!" My iced coffee was fine - not overly acidic or burnt tasting and also not too sweet. The barista was pretty light handed with the almond milk as you can see in the photo. The inside of the shop looked clean, but there isn't an impressively cozy ambience. For stopping in to grab a coffee, this isn't an issue. But, it's important to me if I plan on hanging out for awhile. This location has a drive through which is nice. Overall, I'm giving it 3 stars as it's mediocre to fine but not anything spectacular. read more

After a very exciting trip to Antelope Island on the way back I decided that some iced coffee was in order so I swung into this coffee shop and got one of my favorite iced coffee drinks this time of year which was a iced vanilla latte which was so good! I also got a pastry here... how could I not since I have a great weakness for them and enjoyed a very nice, laid back environment here which was a nice break from all of the driving I was doing on my lengthy trip of road travel. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I'm here so often they know me by name. Lol Best coffee and best prices!! I used to go to Starbucks like everyone else but I was looking for a more natural tasting coffee. Starbucks was so over powering with syrups and sweeteners that it wasn't enjoyable anymore. (I would get the caramel Frappuccino or iced caramel macchiato for reference) at Beans I get iced caramel cello and a caramel revolver. Omg they are heaven I haven't gone back. Lol I like their rewards too I get a free drunk on my birthday and they always have awesome offers. Recently purchased a Tumbler from their site and I love it!! Great drive through service today. I'm a Starbucks junkie but recently tried B&B in Taylorsville and was immediately sold. I love their white choc mocha freeze. Very good although I have to disagree with those who have said this place doesn't break the bank because the prices were abt the same as Starbucks. Aaah, nothing like walking into my coffee shop and smelling all the goodness. The environment, the staff, the coffee, tea...it's a package deal and it never disappoints. I come here to do my work and it's always the right amount of chill ambiance. One thing, and I know they are aware of it, is that the internet is super sketchy. It works when it feels like it and checks out when it doesn't. I much prefer Beans & Brews over Starbucks and their reward program is decent as well! read more

We stopped at Beans and Brews after we completed a difficult event on Antelope Island. I had slipped my GPS into my raincoat pocket, which I neglected to close. When we returned to the hotel, I looked for my GPS, but I could not find it. When we returned to the coffeehouse to check if I had lost it there, the morning crew said that my GPS had been found on a table. It did not belong to any of the employees so they kept it. I was thrilled that it had been found. Many thanks to the crew for picking it up for me. When we are in the area, we always stop here and love the coffee and the fantastic service. It is always service with a smile. We also enjoy the baked goods. It's a wonderful place to stop going to or from Antelope Island. The coffeehouse is a "must stop" when we are in the area. Stopped by here almost just on a whim. Glad I did! Friendly baristas and a clean shop. Great place for me to get things done. New location, and they're doing great at establishing themselves here with incentives and a willingness to make things work and get momentum. Standard fare B&B service and product; no complaints. This store is pretty quiet, but consider the location in Syracuse. I've never seen it busy. Hunny likes this store because she can spread out at a big table and not be bothered. I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetic and prefer the nearby Layton location. Cest la vie. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place out for the first time. Now, I actually prefer it over Starbucks for my usual large hot Vanilla Latte. The large is a bigger size than your standard large size latte elsewhere. So more bang for your buck! It's just a nice little bonus. Also, they have a decent rewards program for so many purchases you can get a free one, etc. I look forward trying other stuff. When I do, I'll add my feedback to the rewiew. read more

I have only come here a handful of times but am never disappointed. I always use the drive through and the baristas are SUPER fast. My drink is usually ready by the time I get to the window. I have never seen a long line and the coffee is delicious! Much better than Starbucks (who I had frequented for years,) their coffee doesn't taste burnt and the blended drinks keep the coffee flavor. I love the 'Mr. B's' drinks and their mocha is also delicious. Because I'm still breastfeeding, I can only drink decaf at this time and if I order an oddball drink, they are very accommodating of me. read more

I go everyday. Great service, great coffee, clean building. The only problem is the lids, always leaking, not a huge deal, but sometimes when I have multiple coffees it makes my truck a mess. That's not gonna stop me from going to your coffee shop, but just would like it if I could get a coffee that didn't leak. read more

Took me nearly 2 years to figure out there was a Beans & Brew near me. Best coffee place around and doesn't break the bank like Starbucks or Scooters. Also gives you the coffee as you order; ask for coffee a specific way, you receive it just as asked. Breakfast sandwiches are good as well! read more

The Cuban sandwich was delicious and the coffee was excellent as well. The place was very clean and the customer service was also outstanding. The barista was very patient when we were trying to figure out what we wanted and was overall helpful and answered all of our questions. I got an iced tan mocha with almond milk and it tasted burnt. it didn't really have much flavor and the entire bottom of my cup was coated in coffee grounds, the first sip of coffee I got was straight coffee grounds. Normally I would give these guys five stars. But sadly after today I've changed my mind. After going through the drive-thru, with my husband, and paying for our order... they handed me a drink that didn't look like what I normally get. (Large Iced Chi with whole milk, 2 shots of vanilla, and whipped cream.) I asked if it was made with whole milk. The batista said yes it was. So I thought maybe they just didn't use that much of it. Well once I took my 1st sip.... I knew immediately it was not made with whole milk. (Now I am not really a picky person.. but when it comes to my coffee... yes, yes I am.) So my husband went in and let them know that it wasn't what I had ordered and that if they could fix it. The batista again said it was made correctly. So my husband ended up buying a whole new drink for me. You could see the difference in the color. But hey at least it was made right the 2nd time. Spent more ttime and money than I had wanted. This place is absolutely fantastic. Unlike Starbuck it has a plethora of choices. From sodas to coffee to tea all of the choices are flavorful and fun. The coffee tastes like actual coffee instead of watered down sugar that may have been put next to coffee beans for a short period of time. The overall atmosphere is fun and casual, the inside is extremely clean as well. They have seating as well as magazines in the shop. I would totally recommend this place for a quick and on the go coffee, a nice place to work or study, or a lovely place for a casual chat with friends. A nice place for everyone! read more

I was really excited about a coffee shop finally opening in Syracuse, but was super disappointed when I tried Beans and Brews for the first time. My favorite drink in the world is a chai latte, but their chai's are disgusting! I decided to give it another chance, and their coffee isn't great either! So far, there is only one thing on their menu I like, and it's the Copper Freeze Frappe with espresso. Their service isn't much better, it's all teenagers who act like you're a burden on them. I was going through the drive through with a friend, and we forgot to tell the girl to put the drinks on separate orders, and when we rolled up and told her, she rolled her eyes and lectured us about how "next time we need to tell her at the menu". I do NOT recommend going to Beans and Brews if there are other options in your area. read more

Beans and Brews never fails in impressing me for a quick coffee house drink. The staff are awesome and always a ray of sunshine in my day. I'm a regular that visits once a week minimum.
