The only place that had some Lacey's Stiff Stuff and scrap leather pieces perfect for the size of my Pow Wow regalia projects. The owner was more than gracious and kind, as well as extremely knowledgeable about sewing and bead embroidery! They even have a monthly schedule of classes which was doooope, the store owner teaches a Peyote Stitch class which I plan on spending the $35 to take since no one else around town is currently offering a class in this technique. The prices for my few items were fair. I got overall wonderful vibes from this store. Keep small businesses strong and thriving, y'all!!

I can't get enough of this place! I now look for broken jewelry that I can fix or repurpose just so that I can come into the store and speak with Jill. Her extensive knowledge, amazing talent and perfect eye for seeing beauty where I do not, are talents that I can appreciate ... especially since I will never be that talented. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask ... They are so helpful and everyone there has a much passion for jewelry and beads and crafts and projects. I have been awestruck by what I have seen come out of that shop ... it can only be termed as artistry.

I made put this together very quickly right at the Bead Station

A really nice shop with a variety of bead options that are priced very affordably. The atmosphere inside the store is also great.

Inside, the store had a bright, clean, and well-organized layout that made browsing through the aisles relaxing and inspiring. Some items had prices that were clearly marked and some didn't. It was hard finding a staff member to get items scanned so I had to put it in my shopping cart and get to the checkout line for a price check. I have been to other Hobby Lobby locations and it's quite large with lots of items to look at. I feel like all these stores are owned by a Christian family as I frequently hear Christian music as you walk around the store and it is quite peacful and relaxing even for non religious shoppers. Some of the standout items for sale included seasonal home décor whcih right now was clearance items from Valentines Day and new items for Easter holiday. There were also a large display of artificial floral arrangements, wall art, and a wide variety of craft supplies. I found a few paints supplies and scrapbooking materials for my niece to enjoy. The selection was impressive, and the quality of the products made it easy to find unique items for both home decorating and DIY projects. Overall, this Hobby Lobby location is a great place to shop if you have time to wander the entire store because you will leave with a cart full of creative supplies or stylish décor. Plenty of parking in the front and restrooms are nice and clean.

I was directed to the self-checkout area instead. While I was in the process of checking out and obviously struggling the employee at the front began making comments about my children. As a parent managing three young kids by herself, it is extremely difficult to complete a transaction at a self-checkout station while also ensuring my children are supervised appropriately. This is precisely why I requested assistance in the first place. I was disappointed not only by the lack of support, but also by the tone and comments made during our visit. Customer service should feel supportive and welcoming, especially for families. It was frustrating to see multiple employees present, yet none available to provide direct assistance when requested. I should not be expected to perform the duties of a cashier while an employee stands nearby making comments about my children instead of providing assistance. Unfortunately, due to this experience and the overall lack of professionalism, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the customer experience for others in the future.

I booked a party for my daughter and decided to go with the Ultimate Package (the highest package). There were 2 employees helping out with our party. The first 20 minutes after we arrived, they just sat at a table and had their own personal conversations. No welcome announcement to the group, no direction or rough layout of the party. I took the lead, set up the food, had the girls sing Happy Birthday, took pictures, served the girls, etc. I didn't even get a single photo of me and my daughter during this party. Finally after asking when the art was going to start, they said we could start with face painting and nail art. The face painting was not your typical face painting... see my photos below. Then they moved onto jewelry making, with clay. During this project, Employee A was occupied texting on her phone. She then proceeded to have personal conversations with Employee B in front of the girls (while all sitting at the same table). The table was so quiet for a large amount of time. There was no engagement with the girls, or even seeing if they needed help. It was so quiet, that I joined the table and started commenting on each of the girl's clay art, and conversing with them. Employee B did help the girls get more clay for their projects and said some words here and there. Finally Employee A put her phone down and paid attention to the girls for the next project. This project went better as there was more direction and actually an art lesson. In the middle of the drawing lesson, a couple families did a walk-in. I forgot to mention there were 2 other employees sitting around just drawing (not involved with our party). Instead of these 2 employees assisting with the walk-ins, Employee A ended up taking the kids that walked in and no longer assisted with our party. At one point, both Employee A & B were helping with the walk-ins, leaving the girls unattended. I found it odd that the other 2 girls who were available didn't assist with the walk-ins. At the end of the party, they passed out our "deluxe" party favors. It was junk. Literally junk. Like a single crayon and some random plastic pieces. I was embarrassed to have sent the girls home with these party favors. Again, see my photos below. Also, our package included giftcards for the girls, which I had to ask for because we didn't receive them. Employee B did not know about it and had to text someone to confirm that we get it. They did not seem familiar with what is included in our birthday party. The Ultimate Package is advertised as a 3 hour party with a 120 minute art lesson on canvas, but I kept getting inconsistent replies via email and in person *AT* the party- telling me I only get 2-2.5 hrs. Thankfully the girls didn't notice these things and still had fun because they were just excited to be together - which is why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1. I also wanted to mention that the other 2 kids who did a walk-in... the employee was doing the drawings for them. They had an iPad in front of them and she was drawing for them. Hardly an art lesson. Something to think about if you want to just drop your child off. The concept here is great, but they need employees who can engage with children more and not be on their phones. One employee kept saying to the other "What are you on? You must be on something!" in front of the girls. Please keep these comments and conversations away from young kids. ***Update*** Young Art did reach out and offered a class for my kids to re-do this experience. I asked my daughter, but unfortunately she was not interested :( I appreciate the call and offer.

We came during the day (on a weekday) which is their slow time when kids are in school (perks of being a homeschooler!). I liked that it was not crowded and that we were able to get right in and have the teachers undivided attention (well divided between my two kids haha). The staff are so friendly and helpful, which definitely added to the great experience. My kids picked out some pictures off of the wall that they wanted to recreate with their teacher. My kids are young and the teacher did a great job with helping them do their drawing and then painting it. My youngest one needed more help, but the teacher did more guiding and let my kids truly make their own picture which both turned out great! They have other types of art you can do besides drawing and painting. They also sell some cool art supplies and accessories. We just did a drop in fee, but they sell packages if you want your child to come in more frequently. They also do parties as well. Check them out!

Luckily, there was one close and it was currently open. I walked in to Paper Annex, there was one gentleman at the counter, I saw where the JellyCats were located, they didn't have any Valentines Day ones out so I asked, (Who I believe is the owner Scott) "Do you have any of the Valentines Day JellyCats available?" He replied "Oh, yes we have them, we have had for some time but, we are not putting them out yet though" I thought to myself (seems odd to not put them out to SELL THEM) but whatever. So I asked. "When are you putting them out" In comes from the back and older blonde lady, who I am assuming is his wife Colleen & she says, "we are not putting them out til the 15th" I Replied, "Oh Weird, I thought it was the 13th as I had seen at some others shops that are not in the area posting about them" She replied, super snotty and said, "well, we are not putting them out til the 15th, people come in and buy them all up and re sell them" (she acted as if she thought I was trying to do that, based on the fact maybe, I'm a husky dude with tattoos and doesn't look like a Jelly Cat collector) "I Replied I thought online that they were out now" She told me "Well, we are putting them out on the 15th" I said ok Left this store and will NEVER return. For this visit, I did have a list of items I was interested in and was able to find such as, squeeze bottle for condiments, small mesh strainer, tempura paper liner and tongs. What I bought on impulse was the robe indoor house slippers, bear squeaky dog toy, card holder and a koi fish reusable bag. Their dog toys are perfect for my Pancake. She's obsessed with the bear since it squeaks and has soft limbs for her to chew on. They surprisingly hold up well with light play/chew, but most of the dog toys in our home are from Daiso. The only thing I couldn't find was the oil absorbing pads for used cooking oils. After frying, I used to throw a couple of those pads into a pan and it would soak up any remaining oil to toss in the trash. Was really useful to keep on hand, but I haven't found it in awhile. Besides that, I'm always happy to visit a Daiso and will be back soon.
