It's counter service and there was already a bit of a line when we arrived around 7:15am (why were so many people already up and about?! lol). We loved that they had a great variety of options, including many vegetarian options. I went with the egg & cheese sandwich and accidentally ordered it without the greens & sauce (whoops!). However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. We also got a side order of fruit which, to my delight, was a bowl of berries! The fruit is seasonal so the combination might be different depending on what time of year you are visiting. Also, both of our coffees met our standards, which are a bit high these days. So kudos to them on that! The ambiance was absolutely incredible!!! Very well lit with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. We sat near the back of the restaurant (away from all windows), however we still felt like we were being flooded with sunlight. It was wonderful! Definitely recommend coming here to grab breakfast while visiting Beacon!

This morning on our way home we took a special detour to have breakfast here. I asked for the same veggie omelette, hoping to re-experience their unique and delicious creation, but alas! it was a total disappointment! The distinctively creative design was gone, and in its stead was just an average, run-of-the-mill omelette, all the while (to make things even worse) sans the spinach that was specified on the menu (which was generously offered 4 years ago). I attach photos from 4 years ago for my dear readers to compare and understand my perspective. In addition, I'm not sure if the proprietor was aware, but the packaging does state that it's best to keep refrigerated. In their defense, I did not call them once I recognize this.
