Such a wonderful find. The food here was amazing. At first I wasn't sure if it would be worth the 35 minute but the 3 of us were glad we did. The food came out quickly and the servers were extremely pleasant. Two of us got the expresso martini and it was a nice surprise. I got the cheese steak au jus probably the best part was the freshly made baguette. The others got the chicken cutlet blt and the chicken and waffles (they ran out of waffles and instead it was french toast), but both dishes were still delicious. Now the waitress could not been more sweeter, she kept up making sure if I wanted to order more and if I enjoyed the food, plus honestly always had a smile on. This place was spectacular! Welcoming from the moment you arrive. As you enter, you feel at ease knowing you're supporting a moral business as they have multiple humanitarian posters up in their window; not to mention it's absolutely gorgeous from the walls to the waitstaff. We were served very quickly and attended to constantly(and it was always pleasant and professional). I got the chicken and waffles and split an avocado toast with my friend. Both were DELICIOUS, and believe it or not, their respective temperatures were correct. Weird how a long-standing restaurant can do that...almost as if people are lying in their reviews in a coordinated and racist manner in order to attack a Palestinian business...hmmm. So, yes, it's time to address all these suspect reviews. I've read dozens upon dozens of reviews for this establishment and even witnessed a dishonest 1-star review in the making live from my table yesterday. Two women made a scene (momentarily ruining the joints pitch perfect atmosphere) complaining that a coffee came to them cold...which is weird because both my friend and I saw plenty of steam rising from their cup...and since this is such a common complaint among "this crowd" I suggest a new policy: Ask these patrons to stick their finger in the drink and hold it there for say, 30 seconds. One-star reviews are detrimental to a business, and if these reviews are unfounded, which I'd say generously, 85-90% of them are, he has every right to defend his business in the public forum. You publicly smeared a person's livelihood, they should be able to correct the record and spank your dumbass right back. Does he go hard on ya'll? Is he kinda sick-nasty with it when he drags you through the comments and puts your ugly souls to rest? YES. AS HE SHOULD BE! HOWEVER, I've seen him act extremely fairly when people come at him correctly and criticize his business fairly. I've seen 1-star reviews where people were nice about their complaints, and he apologized and promised to fix the problem, and even reached out to offer something to make it right. I've seen him graciously thank reviewers who mention nothing but the things they didn't enjoy, yet gave 3 or 4 stars for what they DID enjoy, and again, he promised to make it right. So, stop trying to paint him as some unprofessional psycho who can't take any criticism. So yeah, if you can't bring yourself to enjoy a delicious meal or cup of coffee because of your allegiance to an ethno supremacist apartheid state, that sounds like a personal shortcoming you should deal with in private, don't take it out on a family business. 5 stars. read more

I ordered the caprese sandwich, it was on a beautiful home made baguette. Nice and crunchy. The Mozzarella was home made as well and beautiful. The tater tots were very nice too. The very slim pickle was sweet which I didn't like very much. My partner got the chicken and waffles, very tasty, although we wish it was more like traditional fried chicken over the cutlet style chicken that was on it. Beacon Bread Company is easily the best spot in the town of Beacon. The staff is warm, welcoming and LGBTQ+ friendly. They have vegan options which is definitely a plus! After we placed our orders we were served our meals roughly 10 minutes later (fast service). Everything was perfect. The French toast was flavorful and the strawberries were fresh and sweet. The vegan ice cream was delicious as well. I tried some of my girlfriends western omelette and found it to be flavorful. I highly recommend this place for break/brunch. Stopped by this place looking for dessert and something to drink. The menu had a specialty drink called the Disco lemonade and it advertised that it had edible glitter so of course I had to get it. It was so refreshing and really pretty! For dessert I decided to try the carrot cake and omg it did not disappoint. It was so moist and fresh. I ended up buying 2 more slices to take home. An OG staple of Beacon run by whole hearted humans who love the community. The service is wholesome and super kind. A free great spot to grab a brunch or breakfast, and sit outside. Love their picnic tables outside on the sidewalk, and their adorable sidewalk marbled tabletop with chairs is the perfect spot for journaling or a reverie on a rainy day. They host community events in the backyard sometimes, from open mics to little potlucks. A wonderful place to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend. Grateful for them. read more

However, my only 2 complaints about the dishes were ways to revamp it. One most noticeable change I would make is the baguette traditionally should be crispy, so maybe lightly roasting it so it doesn't get soggy on the bottom. As far as the tofu scramble, it could use more tofu and a different play on the home fries. Once again the baguette it came with should've have been lightly toasted. The sandwiches, even their chicken and fried chicken and au jus sandwiches , were tender and cooked/ fried perfectly! The baguette on the sandwich clearly had garlic rubbed generously on it, and brought me back to Paris. The brioche on both chicken sandwiches were apparently just made, and so soft! Even their pickles were homemade; more like a sweet/sour cucumber. The NE clam chowder had a ton of clams and delicious potatoes. They will be on wait during peak hours.
