Somehow, my eyeball peeped it, we looked at each other and said: wine not? What sets this shop apart is that everything is hand picked, carefully curated, organic, natural and biodynamic. COOL! Let's start off by acknowledging their orange rainbow wine wall galore where you can pick from all hues of orange wine. I'm an orange wine newbie - super late to the game - BUT, thanks to their guided tasting (and amazing wine connoisseur) I was able to gain so much knowledge. We got to try a white (Spain), a delicious smooth red (France) and an incredibly funky and fun orange Hungarian wine. I hadn't even tried Hungarian wine before until now. Pleasantly surprised and it for sure was something unique. In case you're curious to try it too it's their Jász Laci 'Rising Sun' Somló 2022. We loved it so much we picked up a bottle to take home. The tasting bottles are also discounted if you participate in the tasting which is super awesome. Overall, so happy we came here. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Alex who had the friendliest disposition and most inviting attitude I'd seen all day. Told him what I was looking for and he found it for me immediately! He asked me if I wanted to try a really great whiskey he'd just gotten and of course I did! I'm not a whiskey drinker but it was fabulous. Told him I was looking for a nice Pinot Grigio and he immediately showed me some great options. I was so impressed by his knowledge and passion that I decided to ask if he could recommend a nice red wine. I'm always searching and they're either too dry or too sweet. Again his knowledge was very impressive and he led me to the perfect Cabernet Sauvignon. I didn't think I'd like a Cab because I never found one that suited me but he seemed so confident that I decided to trust him. So glad that I did! It was perfect!
