I had a condensate discharge pump that worked but was taped together. After the job was completed, the technician told his boss Mac about the pump. I was called and told that Mac would like to come out and replace the pump at no cost to me. Yes, he installed a new pump at no cost to me. I called this company to come out and service our AC system. Adam came out and did a nice job of servicing our system, While he waited around for awhile to see the difference, there was no reduction in the house temperature. After a period of time he decided to check the ductwork condition. I told him I had just hired a company to replace any and all old sagging or missing insulation under our house. When he came out later dripping with sweat, he gave me bad news and good news. The bad news was there was a large hole in our ductwork at an elbow turn and the air or heat was not coming into the house, but coming out into the crawl space. That was why the temperature wasn't lowering inside. He said the good news is I repaired the leaking area for you. I couldn't just leave you in the heat. (we thought that was very considerate of him to do that). I thought, another bill for someone to come out and repair the hole. I was disappointed that the two men had failed to repair the hole or inform me about it. That's another story I will address later. We told Adam how much we appreciated what he had done to help us out with the temperature, for Summer and come Winter. He showed me pictures of what it looked like before and after he repaired it. I asked him if he would email them to me so I could show the other company what their men failed to do. We both thank this young man for his time and what he did as I said we are both Senior Citizens. I hope he didn't get in trouble for what he did. One was an issue noted by a pest control estimator (which turned out to likely be nothing). Yarkey came out, inspected, explained the reasoning and added metal flashing to ensure it was not a problem. Additionally, our gutter guard is from the 80's and there were problems with nails falling behind it. Eventually the nails showed up hanging between the facia and the gutter. Yarkey removed all the hanging nails before they left. We love the job they originally did on our roof, but can't say enough about them backing up their work down the road. Yarkey is a quality company and has ended up being a cost effective value for us.

After finding them online and seeing my city listed, I called to schedule an estimate. I was then told that because I live more than 30 miles from their location, I am outside of their service area, even though I live in Williamsburg. The website should be specific and state that they only service parts of Williamsburg or mention their mileage limit. This was a complete waste of my time.
