Great service from start to finish. Brett, Matt, and Justin were my main contacts. Justin performed a perfect install of my new stainless steel chimney chase (cover) on 6/3/2026. This company uses the best materials and employs the most polite and competent techs in this business. I would highly recommend hiring them! Larry Springs read more

Easy and quick to make an appointment. My chimney tech was super friendly and very detailed on what he found and did while checking my chimney. He was really good about answering all my random questions about my weird chimney. He took photos and sent them to me after the service. I highly recommend. Often times as a female you get treated like you just would not understand so they don't bother to explain in detail but I was very happy with my service visit. Thank you. read more

I tried another Chimney service and they jerked me around for over a month and then when they finally came they showed up with a chimney cap that was totally inadequate. We canceled the contract, got my deposit refunded and I called Chimney USA. They had my chimney cap replaced with a new stainless steel cap within the week. Now I'm a happy camper. Thanx CHIMNEY USA. read more

We have used Chimney USA for several years. Every year we have them clean our chimney. This past year our liner was completely shot. The flue door was rusted badly. They replaced our whole insert and made repairs to the clay stack. The work was great and they did a good job cleaning up everything. There is no one else we trust more with our chimney. read more

This was my third time using Chimney USA. The first time was a few years ago when I was purchasing a home in Virginia Beach. This time, I used them for my new home in Norfolk. I wanted to make sure that the fireplace that the home has was usable. I called and scheduled an inspection along with a cleaning. The man that came out, inspected and cleaned the fireplace and answered every question I had, believe me I had a lot because I never operated a fireplace. I was given so much information about how to light my wood burning fireplace, what type of wood to use, how often my fireplace should be inspected, etc. Guess what?!? I lit my own fireplace!!! I absolutely love it and I cannot thank Chimney USA, because I could not have done it without them. read more

Contacted Chimney USA due to some rainwater leaking around my chimney. Case came to take a look and advised on recommended work with pictures of my chimney areas in need. My house is 85 years old and I wanted it done right. The Chimney USA team did not disappoint. From the flashing replacement to the masonry work performed by Justin I couldn't be more pleased. Justin's skills on the masonry work were top notch from start to cleanup and the flashing was professionally and carefully performed. Much appreciated having people work on your house that actually care about what they do! read more

A+ for Chimney USA! Brett at Chimney USA responded immediately to my inquiry about cleaning my parents' chimney in Williamsburg. He explained the nuts and bolts of the process to me and reassured me that the job could be completed without spreading debris into the interior of the house. He then spoke to my mother, the homeowner, again with patience and clarity and scheduled the job within days of her call. Case was the chimney expert who performed the work. He was on time, and professional, courteous and friendly throughout. He meticulously cleaned the chimney, which had housed birds during the spring, of significant debris without spreading it into the living room into which the fireplace opens. He attached a screen at the top of the chimney to prevent future ingress, carefully navigating a fragile slate roof and avoiding damage thereto. We highly recommend this company. read more

I highly recommend Chimney USA for any work needed on your chimney! Quality work at a very reasonable price. The successful resolution of the chimney leak issue I had sums up a job executed with precision and expertise. Through a comprehensive assessment of the problem, followed by methodical repairs, the team has effectively restored the integrity of the structure and safeguarded the property against further water damage. Each step of the process, from identifying the source of the leak to implementing tailored solutions, was executed with unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Clear communication and prompt action ensured that the repair was completed within the designated timeframe, exceeding my expectations. This accomplishment reflects the team's dedication to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction, ensuring peace of mind and a durable solution for years to come. Special thanks to the following: Case: I am a first time home buyer and Case worked with the limited budget I have. He was able to give me options and explained everything clearly, set expectations and also followed thru with everything that was agreed on. Andrew and Justin: They were the tech associates who fixed my Chimney. They were very thorough, engaged and explained every process done in my chimney. All in all 5 out of 5 stars for Chimney USA. I will definitely recommend their services to my friends and family! read more

Cheers to Yelp and this Chimney USA. I've been a user of Yelp for quite a few years now (shows in profile). For the first time I went to an 'all Yelp' solution to see how things panned out. I used the message service in Yelp and received 3 quotes from all the chimney sweepers with one click. I promptly received the quotes and of all the quotes - this one was the highest by a small margin. To be consistent to the solution, I went with Yelp b/c of the rating. I'm quite floored how awesome the experience was. The owner worked with me to get in as quick/best as possible and was able to get to me sooner than planned. When the technician arrived, he was very polite and even took the time to take his shoes off (we're a no shoe inside household). The fact that he recognized that was very unique as whenever we get other services, the contractors often don't respect our 'rules' and walk around (even upstairs) with their shoes on. The technician was very respectful of answering questions, keeping me informed of what's going on and made sure there was no dust or soot kicked from any of the cleaning process. I was able to even cook dinner with him doing his job in the fireplace which was only 20' away. That's how well he sealed the area off to ensure everything was clean. Overall, the process of going through the messaging service and finding a reputable contractor proved positive. Highly recommend this company if you're needing your chimney cleaned. Thanks! We had never used the fireplace in the 10 years since we bought the house but decided to start for the ambiance. Matt cleaned and inspected the chimney. He was polite, professional and arrived on time. Before he left, he showed pictures of the crown, cap, corbel that were a bit weathered and some missing shingles. He suggested that we consider trimming the trees back before they got too close (causing a fire hazard). No pressure or scare tactics to immediately repair the items noted. I'm not the easiest to please but Matt succeeded. read more

From the beginning when I received the message from Matt through Yelp, the communication was quick and professional. We were unsure how this would go because our last house was a gas fireplace and we never had to call a chimney company the entire time we lived there (18 years). When they came to the house, Matt introduced his partner Andrew. They were so nice and very professional. They looked over our chimney inside and out, top to bottom and cleaned it to include all the debris from probably 15 plus years of no use taking pictures of Of every inch inside and out. Matt sat down with me to show some things he was concerned about and suggestions on how they could be corrected. He sent an email the same day with the attachment of pictures and it was very detailed showing before and after the cleaning was completed and it was amazing to see the difference. It was very clean and all the debris was vacuumed up and bagged up. We couldn't have been happier with them. I will for sure call them when we're ready to make the corrections! read more

I contacted Chimney USA last evening after reading so many favorable reviews online. Matt was very quick to respond and scheduled an appointment for this afternoon to replace a chimney cap. Called Matt and the team at Chimney USA to do the seasonal chimney and dryer vent cleaning. Asked them to check out the chimney flashing and chimney condition. Did a great job as normal with the maintenance and then took photos of the chimney in detail. I needed new. Flashing and some repointing g along with work on the chimneys crown (didn't even know what that was). They scheduled the repairs and completed within 10 days. Sent before and after pics as well. Furthermore they repointed some small gaps in other places in my veneer at no charge. Can't say enough about this company. Highly recommended! read more

Brett and Adam came out to clean our chimney and the wood stove insert chimney of our rental property. They were on time and consummately professional. Wow! Great service! I messaged Chimney USA through the yelp app along with a few other companies looking for quotes and to see if someone could fit us in before thanksgiving. I originally had an appt set with another company but wasn't able to get in until first week of December. Matt messaged me back promptly with a quote, details of the service, and also an opening 2 days from now!! We are so excited we will finally be able to use our fireplace this season. I will update my review once the technician has come to our home, but if its anything like the booking process, i'm sure it will also be great! read more

I had a great experience with Brent and I believe it was Matt. They were so friendly and honest. They didn't try to upsell me on anything (which honestly I was expecting) or tell me anything was wrong that I needed fixed immediately. They told me what could wait and send comprehensive pictures and a report of the inspection and sweep. They also gave a Military discount. Plus they even came early and called first to ensure that was ok! I definitely will be using them again every year. read more

Chimney USA did a fantastic job at our house. They did an initial review, took photos, and inspected the chimney from the roof. From there they completed a thorough cleaning, and subsequently inspected the chimney in full with additional photos. Throughout the process, they walked through each step of what was going to be done and provided education on what to look out for and how it should be maintained. They walked through types of typical issues, and identified opportunities to save money while ensuring a safe and long lasting chimney. They were extremely friendly, super knowledgeable, safe, insured, and got the job done quick. I will definitely be continuing to work with Chimney USA In the future! read more

My elderly parents needed their dryer vent cleaned before the could get their dryer fixed so it needed to be done before a part arrived. I reached out to Matt at Chimney USA and despite being their busy season he was able to schedule the cleaning within a week's time. Excellent company!! I contacted them for a chimney cleaning and inspection. The price quoted over the phone seemed reasonable and I scheduled the cleaning. The technician, Case arrived right on time. He was professional polite, worked quickly and cleaned up completely. He provided pictures both before and after and recommended two repairs. I decided I could do one of the repairs myself and contracted them for the other. The second technician, Justin was just as professional and proficient as Case. My updated review & in response to USA Chimney owner, Matt Watkins: I'm sorry you felt my review of your co was "unfair." The two stars translates to "could have been better," which your mgr's phone response to my initial request could have been imo. I did not disparage your company, & so I'm a bit surprised at ur very drawn-out, overwhelming response to my review. I probably should have been more concise in my review as to what I wasn't happy about re your company: Your company website advertises that ..."As full-service chimney experts, we are available to assist w/ ANY chimney needs, from extensive repairs and maintenance to inspections..." "When you need help from a company service contractor that you can COUNT ON, call..." and "Reverse the effects of wear and tear and other chimney problems. When your chimney isn't letting the smoke out or when there is VISIBLE DAMAGE, we are HAPPY TO HELP." I am disappointed and unhappy that the best your EXPERT company could do, is blow me off that you couldn't help, & then went on to give a recommendation for a poorly-reviewed company on the other side of the HRBT, & not interested in doing business in Va Beach. That's the honest truth. The contractor who worked on my chimney did nothing more than tear down the top-half of the chase structure. I wasn't comfortable asking them to continue any work building up or repairing the structure (which had some water-damage to the chase) b/c I learned the contractor wasn't licensed! I hope your company is licensed - I haven't checked the Va DPOR website - but I guess it doesn't matter in my case, b/c you've said that you couldn't help me anyway. read more

Chimney USA gets 5 Stars from me! I just bought my home and this is the first time ever having a real fireplace so I wanted to get everything cleaned and inspected. Matt, my technician, did that and more... he took the time to explain everything he was doing and why, explained everything he found on the inspection and then took it further to explain what was a safety hazard and what was not, what needed to be fixed by a specialist and what could be fixed by myself and gave me all pricing. He also gave me a "fireplace user for dummies" lesson from cleaning to lighting a fire, to correctly putting it out and disposing of ash. I also had noticed a few days later that I had what appeared to be mud inside my disposal door, so I called them and the other Matt who answered explained that it was old ash that was getting wet due to a rusted and broken door that was low to the ground and getting flooded. He also gave options on how to fix the issue. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my Chimney USA experience and highly recommend them! read more

I highly recommend Chimney USA. My dryer vent had to be cleaned for my condo association and Chimney USA was able to get out within a day or 2 and get the work done. Whoever previously did it did not clean past a bend in my vent. However, Matt went up on the roof and got the entire vent. Very pleased with quality and speed of work. read more

Matthew arrived on time and explained the entire process to me prior to getting his equipment out the truck. He took his time with the inspection and told me exactly what he would be doing as well as confirm the price with me before any services were performed. We had 2 chimneys inspected and cleaned out, he went on the roof and took pictures for his of everything he saw and even sent them to me via email! We are extremely happy with the service we received at a fantastic price and will continue to use Chimney USA for all of our chimney needs! Highly recommended, five stars!! read more
