Went to Grand boulevard after not being helped for over 20 minutes. We were never greeted and stood at the shoe display waiting to try on shoes while we watch employees behind the counter just talking to each other and another group at the fitting room laughing and never offered to help they made eye contact and went on back to talking. I allowed the security guard to check all receipts and look through all bags. He found no evidence of theft. The security guard escorted me and the kids back to the store at which time I looked at the security footage. My son (mixed race) entered the building and she showed me him exiting the building and looked back at my other son and left. That was what she based her assumption that he had stolen something on. I told her it was because he was black that she was accusatory. She replied, "I knew you would say that". He did not steal from this store and the footage shows that as well as the security guard going through all of our bags. Racist.

I asked what I believed was a very normal and reasonable question about one of the products, and instead of receiving a helpful answer, the employee I spoke with immediately seemed irritated and annoyed that I had even asked. Her tone was rude and dismissive from the start, and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her simply by trying to get information about something the store sells. As a customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask questions before making a purchase, especially in a specialty shop where people may not know every detail about the products. Rather than helping me understand what I was looking at, she responded with visible frustration and an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. What bothered me most was how unnecessary the interaction felt. I was polite throughout the conversation and wasn't demanding or difficult in any way. I simply wanted assistance, which is one of the basic expectations when visiting a retail store. Instead, I felt like I was being talked down to and treated as though my question was stupid or not worth answering. Customer service can make or break a business, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. I ordered 7 different wires from west marine. The ordering process was very easy although when I…read morerecieved my package, I found out that one of my wires was cut at 3ft, and the other 27ft would arrive another day, I ordered it as a solid 30ft strand. I contacted customer service about the issue and they sent my money back for the 1 strand that was cut. The next day I recieved most of the other wire that I needed. The other wires were packaged as if they had no concept of handling wire. None of it was rolled up, it looked like they had just shoved it inside the box and called it good. I spent well over an hour going through all of the other wire and de-tangling it. I will be measuring it to see if they actually sent me the correct length of wire because I doubt that they did. Long story short, my mom tried using a card, it kept declining. So she bought a $400 purchase with a different card. When she figured out it was a fraudulent protection thing, she called the bank so that way she can return, then repurchase on the card she wanted to use. Then the security comes to check what's going on, and then they all start giggling as the guy is telling him what's going on, not knowing we can see their reactions.
