I was specifically looking for a long sleeve Vuori shirt with a hood, which they had but not in my size, and the associate recommended Free Fly. I bought 3 free fly shirts that day. The customer service was fantastic (despite the previous reviewer, I can only speak from my experience). The ONLY "meh" part about this store is I wish they had more camping type gear, but they seem to be more of an outdoor clothing store, which is still super rad. Will be going back soon!

Went to Grand boulevard after not being helped for over 20 minutes. We were never greeted and stood at the shoe display waiting to try on shoes while we watch employees behind the counter just talking to each other and another group at the fitting room laughing and never offered to help they made eye contact and went on back to talking. I came in excited to look around and potentially make a purchase, but the customer service completely ruined the visit. I asked what I believed was a very normal and reasonable question about one of the products, and instead of receiving a helpful answer, the employee I spoke with immediately seemed irritated and annoyed that I had even asked. Her tone was rude and dismissive from the start, and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her simply by trying to get information about something the store sells. As a customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask questions before making a purchase, especially in a specialty shop where people may not know every detail about the products. Rather than helping me understand what I was looking at, she responded with visible frustration and an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. What bothered me most was how unnecessary the interaction felt. I was polite throughout the conversation and wasn't demanding or difficult in any way. I simply wanted assistance, which is one of the basic expectations when visiting a retail store. Instead, I felt like I was being talked down to and treated as though my question was stupid or not worth answering. Customer service can make or break a business, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. I ordered 7 different wires from west marine. The ordering process was very easy although when I…read morerecieved my package, I found out that one of my wires was cut at 3ft, and the other 27ft would arrive another day, I ordered it as a solid 30ft strand. I contacted customer service about the issue and they sent my money back for the 1 strand that was cut. The next day I recieved most of the other wire that I needed. The other wires were packaged as if they had no concept of handling wire. None of it was rolled up, it looked like they had just shoved it inside the box and called it good. I spent well over an hour going through all of the other wire and de-tangling it. I will be measuring it to see if they actually sent me the correct length of wire because I doubt that they did. I added pictures of what the mess of wire looked like. Instead of them taking 30 seconds to coil the wire while they pulled it off the reel and taping it, they did this....

An older woman with salt-and-pepper hair (around 5 feet tall) followed me around the entire store as if she believed I was going to shoplift. Not discreetly. Not casually. She stayed close, aisle to aisle, watching me the whole time while other customers shopped freely without being trailed. Let me be very clear: I was wearing leggings, a sweatshirt, and a denim jacket. My purse was barely large enough to hold my iPhone, let alone conceal clothing. We were in town for the holidays in Seaside and stopped in because the weather was far colder than expected we genuinely needed warmer gear. There was absolutely no reason for this level of scrutiny. The message was loud and clear: I was being singled out. It was humiliating, unnecessary, and deeply unacceptable. I regret not returning my items on the spot, but like many people in situations like this, I worried about "making a scene." That internal hesitation the pressure to stay quiet while being treated unfairly is exactly what makes this kind of behavior so damaging. This wasn't about loss prevention. It was about poor judgment and profiling, and it created a hostile customer experience. North Face markets itself as an inclusive, values-driven brand. This store did not reflect those values at all! Management needs to address this behavior immediately. No customer should feel surveilled, targeted, or uncomfortable simply for walking into a store to shop.
