The cheese was delicious and the meat was cooked perfectly. The burrito was a good size and the meat was also very tasty. We got the food to go. I thought the chicken tortilla soup was okay. It had beef or red meat in it too which I wasn't expecting. Will definitely be back, especially for the nachos. read more

I'd advise against the queso unless you're looking for a Velveeta experience, and I'd also give the birria tacos a miss, because they had a weird flavor that seemed out of place in a birria taco. The beef empanada was the best thing we ordered, and of course I'd devoured most of it before I remembered to take a picture. Depending on your COVID precaution comfort level, this place may or may not be the best place for you. Most of the staff had masks, but not all of them were actually wearing it (chefs and cashier). The place had all its doors open so there was decent circulation. Personally, this still didnt give me the warm and fuzzies but to each their own. The food is great though. We got the corn, the spicy tuna pizza and the al pastor taco. - The corn was so cheesy and delicious. - They ran out of cripsy rice for the spicy tuna and offered to refund. I really wanted the spicy tuna, and so the owner/manager (?) ended up making it on a tostada. I'm not sure if its better than the crispy rice but it was still 10/10 for flavor and freshiness! - The al pastor was well balanced and I loved the tanginess from the onions. I probably won't go back anytime soon given its the end of beach season and I'm not comfortable with COVID precautions... but once everything blows over and summer comes again, I'll be looking forward to coming back! read more

Ordered the grilled chicken bowl (all toppings) with a beef empanada. For $19 it's a good deal, however the bowl was mediocre at best. It tasted pretty bland and the chicken was burnt tasting, not sure if it was on the grill for too long. The beef empanada was amazing and it came with a spicy mayo sauce. Tried veggie taco (loved that they grilled the corn and cauliflower gives great flavor), fish taco was tasty and the cod was nice and flakey. S loved the el pastor tacos, guac and rock shrimp quesadilla were all hits! We don't eat chips but I tasted one and they were fresh and crisp. Definitely check these guys out if you are down the shore, am hoping they deliver to Seaside Park in the summer also, if so, we will be regulars! read more

We usually each at Surf Taco (fun nice place, but nothing memorable or overly flavorable) but I found Beach Tacos on Yelp and decided to drive the extra mile to try their food...well worth it! Four adults ate a variety of food...tacos, burritos, taco bowl, chips salsa/guacamole...it was all incredibly tasty, filling and priced right. I personally had a chorizo taco and a rock shrimp taco, both were good, but the rock shrimp taco was phenomenal. Next time I'll probably just order 2 or 3 of these and a side of chips/guacamole and be more than satisfied. Everybody agreed this will be our new go-to beach lunch Mexican (authentic) food stop. read more
