A locally owned shop, with a delightful owner that will guide you or set you free to browse at your own leisure. They have all the right gifts and greeting cards you want.. not millions of items, just a few thousand of wonderfully curated selection that meets and exceeds your needs. I spy with my little eye many little treasures I would like to buy. Only thing is I came here shopping for someone else with my mom and need the right occasions in my life to make sure to use the little treasures right. These things I have tucked away in my mind and it will be fun to see if the shop still has the same items, or similar items, if/when the right time in my life arises for them. Merchandise in Beach House Greetings is very aesthetically arranged and everything is positioned in such a way that it shines through even with all the different products available here. We found a few different items for my sister's birthday as well as some that spurred gift ideas for Christmas time. Perfect place to come shopping for a few birthday items and/or themed cards (like birthday, thank you, or wedding). It can be easy to rack up a bill here pretty quick, just something to keep in mind while shopping. I have mailed cards here in the past through the USPS contained within the store. Every time I think about sending a greeting card, whether it be, a birthday, holiday, or other occasion, I will always succumb to getting it from BHG. When you walk in, the store is light, airy and bright with a wide selection of really authentic cards that are eye catching and often funny. It is a bit on the spendy side, but I feel good sending cards from here because they were thoughtfully curated from a local owner in my neighborhood. Highly recommend this place for mailing! I was able to wait in line outside and they have markers on where to stand. All the materials for packing up your boxes are outside. Before you enter they ask that you sanitize your hands. The door is open which is GREAT and makes for getting in/out quick. Thankful for this option during this busy holiday season, gladly paid in cash and headed on my way in ten min. Overall safe and secure, much better experience than the post office lines. read more

Beach House Greetings has been such a source of joy during Covid. I have 30 mins to run errands and send cards to friends on Mondays and Beach House is where I go. They have the funniest cards, the nicest group of women working there and the most amazing candles. I am not usually a person who sends cards but I have sent so many these past months and the card selection here is one of a kind. I was excited to go shopping at Beach House Greetings for the first time. When I walked in, two employees were working and I was the only customer in the store. Neither employee was busy, and neither said "hello." They both just gave me a mean stare. After continuing to glance my way and glare, I finally said "hi" to try and break the ice, and received no response. Jenni helped me pick out card stock/envelopes, design a card and print it for my wedding invitations. She was patient, speedy, and did a great job discerning what I was looking for and adding her own aesthetic flourish. I was seeking something low maintenance, pretty casual but still tidy looking, and that was exactly what she came up with. My dire fear of invitation logistics: resolved. And the value-for-money of her work is excellent. I love browsing in her shop to see how she has decorated the place (and get decorating ideas for myself!) as well as to check out what little treats are new in stock. read more

Overall a very smiley, friendly place to pick up a unique gift or card. I found quite a few unique cards while shopping here. Confession: I stock up on birthday cards and thank you notes so I'm always on the lookout for artful cards that remind me of someone. I like to put them aside to send later. I came away with what six or eight cards that I really liked. When I returned at a later date there were lots of new cards which was appreciated. Liked having a good assortment that gets changed periodically. The owner, Jenni, has a warm smile and helped me when I couldn't find what I wanted by pointing out some items which I had not noticed. Looks like a cute shop, but too bad the staff isn't friendly. No "hi, hello, welcome in." Lady on the post office side of the shop was so short with me just because I needed signature confirmation on my package. Don't worry, I won't be back with this low level of customer service. read more

The young lady who works at Beach House Greetings is just the sweetest! I walked into the shop right at 10am this morning. She immediately greeted me and tried to help me find a gift bag to wrap my friend's baby shower gift in. She helped me with tissue paper colors and was very pleasant to work with. Plus, her Pandora music choice was perfect. I am so pleased to have such quality customer service in a sweet little shop up the hill from our home. She always has the cutest things and is so sweet. I love that they support other local businesses!
