I ended up here because it was the only flower shop nearby, and honestly... the experience started off like the opening scene of a low-budget detective movie. Driving by, I completely missed it because from the outside it looks less like a flower shop and more like someone's auntie's house that also "might sell flowers on the side." I had to bust a U-turn and seriously question whether my GPS was setting me up. Then I pull up and see a sign that says "Ring Doorbell." At this point I'm thinking, "Am I buying roses or accidentally joining a secret society?" To make things even more interesting, it's right in the middle of the Aurora strip, so the whole vibe had me double-checking my life choices for a second. BUT... surprisingly, the flowers were actually decent, and the prices were fair considering it was the only spot open around the area at the time. So while the outside gives "mystery side quest," the flowers came through in the clutch. If you can get past the "this definitely can't be the place" feeling at first, you'll probably walk out with what you need and a funny story afterward. read more

I had sent a picture of an arrangement with roses and hydrangeas and a few other flowers but a lot of roses as the type of spray I wanted to send. They sent this spray. This corner shop is on the top of mind, and should be on yours too, when you are considering roses. By its very name, they have roses, and while I normally don't just walk into a florist without ordering first, I have never called into this florist; instead I have always walked in and purchased on the spot, and received amazing service, and great flowers. I'm sure they don't always appreciate my random orders, from two dozen Red roses, to something I can't find anywhere else... VERY long stem roses... like 3+ feet off stem, which makes the delivery and presentation, just a little better, and special. They are on Aurora, and if you are driving by, they always look closed, and to be honest, I'm not 100 percent sure when they actually open, I just happen to stop in, and they happen to be open. Their flowers are always fresh, to the tip of the petal, they are pure colored, and I can't believe the stems have a great color also. I'm sure due to the proximity to Evergreen-Washelli Memoral Park, I bet they service many mourners and family/friends of those who have passed away. I can only assume they provide amazing services to those as well. Okay, this place is non-descript, they aren't Ballard Blossom, with a large retail shop and people crammed in, like a Dick's Drive in, on grads night... it is however, a great place to pick up something special for someone you Love. read more

Horrible customer experience. Expensive flowers. AVOID this shop! The gentleman was rude and abrupt. After I paid more than $100 worth of flowers the gentleman started negging me about my ethnicity and nationality. There was absolutely ZERO hospitality or even the slightest respect from the owner of this shop. Honestly I was in shock and disbelief when I heard the words from his mouth. I will never forget his unprofessionalism. I don't usually leave any reviews but I'm leaving this review because I could NEVER forget this awful experience. I went to this place because I didn't have time to stop by Pike Place to pick up their fresh beautiful bouquets for $10 or $20 (cheap & gorgeous!). I walked in and the male owner came out and was friendly, and walked back into the back room. He sent out his wife, who asked me what I was looking for. I said I want a beautiful bouquet for my mom's birthday for $20. She went into the back room and came back out with 1 of the ugliest arrangement of flowers I'd ever seen. There were a total of 4 or 5 random flowers, just sadly bunched up. I didn't want to be rude, so I asked if I could go into the display section and take a look at her selection. She allowed me to take a look, and I saw that she had a full bouquet of lavender daisies. I suggested she use that bouquet as the "baseline", and to add a few roses for pops of color and to fill it out more. Instead of going into the back room to rearrange them, she simply takes the daisies AS IS (with the clear plastic wrap with the vendor logo on it) and throws it on the counter along with ONE rose. (Normally, the florist will cut it up, rearrange, trim, fill with other flowers, wrap in tissue paper). I turned around and politely told her this is not what I wanted. I politely told her I am sorry but I won't be buying flowers there. During the time she was in the back room, I had written on the little florist shop cards "happy birthday mom". I grabbed that card to leave the shop, but she stops me and grabs the handwritten card out of my hands and says, "NO, don't take that - you don't buy flowers here, you don't get to keep the card." And never have they failed...whether delivery, type of flower, late notice or you name it, never have they once told me no or it cant be done! Kudo's to this business for always helping me out and doing it with such professionalism. Now if your looking to walk in and be wowed by a fancy schmancy lobby and fake hospitality...you're in the wrong place. Compact and to the point is what they roll out and thats all I've ever needed or wanted in a florist. I'm sure it helps keep the cost down to reasonable because the prices are always comparable if not better than Ballard Blossom. I'm going there now as a matter of fact and i couldnt tell you the names of either one of the two that have worked there as long as i can think back, but I know one thing...they will deliver as always and my girlfriend will be super surprised and super happy. This florist was recommended by the nearby cemetery when I called about having flowers placed at a loved one's grave, and it turned out to be a wonderful florist with great service, reasonable prices, and beautiful flowers. We live in another state, and I wasn't sure if using an online floral service would be a good idea, since I am not familiar with the cemetery policies. There were very limited options on the cemetery website, so I called them directly and they referred me to The Rose Corner. My first thought was, great, probably over-inflated prices for so-so flowers, but... I was very impressed. The service first of all was wonderful - I called on a Saturday afternoon (after the cutoff time that I had seen for the online florists I had checked), and not only did he work with our budget (very reasonably priced), they had the flowers placed at the grave marker and photos emailed to me within a couple of hours! On top of that, the arrangement was beautiful, using the colors I had asked for and just lovely. The lady from the cemetery who originally referred me to The Rose Corner had also told me that their flowers are always high quality, very fresh, and really last, and that you get what you pay for with them. I wish I would have had the experience these other reviewers had, but unfortunately that was not the case. When I called, it was very difficult to understand the gentleman who answered. Language barrier aside, he was abrupt and made me feel like he was in a hurry to get off the phone. I explained to him what flowers I wanted and he repeated it back to me. I dictated what I wanted on the card, which unfortunately, ended up reading very much like his stilted English once received. But luckily the person I sent the flowers to thought it was amusing. The flowers were nothing like I requested and when I received a picture of what they looked like I was disappointed. There were lots of gaps in the arrangement and the colors did not go together. I wish now I would have followed my instinct when it told me to go elsewhere about halfway through my telephone order. . . . needless to say, I won't be using this florist ever again. read more

I am extremely happy with this florist . My husband was in the hospital and I called Rose Corner Florist to have them make up a bouquet and deliver it to him. When I was asked what type of arrangement I wanted, I just requested "something cheery, something you would like to see yourself if you were in the hospital". This flower shop is in Seattle and I am in Federal Way. I drive 40 miles round trip to get these wonderful owners to whip out my flowers. They do the best work I have ever seen and they always care a lot about how the people receiving the flowers feel about their gify of flowers. The owners husband delivers and his biggest thrill of the day is to see the happy faces of the people he is sent to deliver too. His wife makes the arrangements and the flowers are the freshest.
