I just want to take a second to thank these beautiful people for helping me to make my unique elopement bouquet so beautiful. We decided with Covid this year that we were going to do an elopement in the woods. I wanted a different feel than our traditional wedding which we are having in 2021. So I got this idea to have these beautiful quicksand roses and they were absolutely stunning I did get them free stem so I made my bouquet myself and I was so thankful because these roses were the perfect addition to my bouquet. I definitely wanna incorporate them into my 2021 bouquet as a little reminder from this year. I'm happy I was able to support a small business during the time of Covid and one that's been around for so long I hope they stay in business and if you are just looking for some beautiful roses or arrangements definitely call them and ask them they might be able to help find you some thing like they help me find me some thing. They were one of the only florist in the area, northern Seattle, to find me these beautiful colored roses. It definitely took a couple weeks to coordinate it I would say so if you are looking for something specific just give them a call but they were definitely the week that the wedding was in please make sure that they got them ordered make sure that they were still still the same colors and then when I went to pick them up they were still like are these what you would look like thinking of and they were just so wonderful and helpful my day would not have been so special or unique if it wasn't for the help of these wonderful wonderful people. Ballard Blossom used to be incredibly reliable and had great customer service. Unfortunately that is no longer true. They will allow you to pay for a morning delivery but they won't actually deliver in the time window you're paying for. (Try 6pm and still not there even after you call and waste half your day throwing a fit.) They have an online portal for customer service where they read your messages but do not respond until it disconnects you for inactivity. Their call center had the option to call you back saving your place in line, but it doesn't actually call back. So though it looks like you have lots of customer service options, but you don't. Just hang on that line waiting for them to help you. It's not like it's Valentines or Mother's day - so there's no excuse for such poor customer service. There was a time i wouldn't use anyone else in the Seattle area, but after today i couldn't even recommend them at all. This was an incredibly important delivery and the occasion has been completely ruined by blatantly missed expectations. read more

My grandmother passed away, and we wanted to send an arrangement to the funeral. The cemetery recommended Ballard Blossom to us for flowers. I arranged to have something sent that I saw on their website, but asked they change the flowers to purple, her favorite color, instead of white. lf you need flowers delivered in Seattle or just want to buy them at the flower shop yourself, Ballard Blossoms should be your first and only stop. Annie, Carmen and Rachel helped me with several flower arrangements and were champions about changing addresses and notes for them. And they were all were extremely friendly as well as double-checking each detail as we went along - they even sent me photos of the flowers via text. Each bouquet even came with its own, slick looking glass vase, too! The one thing I'd recommend is to check with them if they have specific cards for the message you want to send with the flowers. Right now, they are printed out on a piece of that's attached safely and firmly to the arrangement, but is on the back of the delivery address and could be overlooked. I myself forgot to ask about "real" cards, but I'm rather certain that they have them at the ready, too. TL;DR: Ballard Blossom clearly delivers five star service. Ballard Blossom is EXCEPTIONAL! Let me explain WHY? I wanted to acknowledge my beautiful caring wife this "International Women's Day" today 3-8-2021. After looking at a number of Florist during a Google Search I decided to support my local Florist Ballard Blossom. I ordered my flowers over the phone with the help of a very pleasant associate on their staff and wanted them to be delivered today before 4:00 PM. Around 2:30 PM I get a VM from Carmen explaining they tried to deliver the flower arrangement but had trouble with not be able to get into the building at the Seattle Symphony because of Covid-19 and security measures. They even attempted to call my wife on her cell phone but she did not answer. I then got the VM they left me and was not happy as you can imagine. But, let stop right there. I should have considered the environment they were trying to deliver to and the possible obstacles that could have come up. I did not, thinking of only myself and for that I do apologize Carmen. i was told I had flowers in the lobby at our retirement community. As soon as I saw the Ballard Blossom name on the box I knew it was going to not only be a unique bouquet but would last for awhile.
