Reservations are required and we were only able to squeeze in going on an outrigger boat our last morning at 7am. My husband wasn't too sure about it but thanked me for signing us up after it was all over. It was very fun and the Andaz Beach Crew made it that way. The guy in charge of the outing was super knowledgeable and made us all feel like pros. It was only about a 30 minute activity but it added so much to our trip. I highly recommend you do this and know you can trust this beach crew to take care of you.

The guides did a great job instilling confidence in the guests while understanding the comfort level and talent level of everyone. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. The only difference next time will be we will bring our own snorkeling equipment because we enjoyed it so much!

April 3, 2022 and we rented a ocean kayak about 10 AM. We have rented here every time we have come to Maui and each time has been a great experience/smooth checkout process. Today, Braiden, was concerned about the swell and wind. We explain that we have been doing this about every six months for years and showed him pictures from our phones. He assisted us getting the kayak launched... we paddled over to Black rock, did some snorkeling (lots of fish there) and paddled back. Coming back on to the beach was no problem as we have timed the waves for years.

They do have stand up paddle boards, $55/hr which is about the same as other nearby spots. Great location as well since it's a mostly protected bay. Winds can pick up but not too bad for the most part. Also in a good location for snorkeling. Lots of fish if you're comfortable getting away from the sand and even some sea turtles, we saw turtles every day at this location. Kids loved it. One of the guys was great. Friendly and informative, other guy was a kinda grumpy and had a short fuse with some of the tourists. I get it, they're kinda dumb and unprepared but you gotta know that's your clientele and be willing to deal with it. Overall though, would use this location again given the proximity to the resort and the variety of toys/equipment they have.

The crew was made of 3 local boys including the captain. They were very informative of the rules and had some humor to lighten the hour ride out to the first stop. We went to turtle reef first but they sometimes go to molokini first depending on weather and crowds. I was quite happy my snorkel fit well, usually they don't fit my face and have to just swim without it so the quality of their gear was 5 stars alone. Overall I had a great time and would definitely do it again. Make sure to reapply that sunscreen between stops!

After reading many rave reviews for Maui Dreams, I enrolled in the Rescue Diver class through their…read moreshop. I scheduled the class a few months in advance, and they even advertised it to recruit another student (after all, you can't rescue yourself!). I learned from the best--Kerri is a true expert in both diving and instruction. He is incredibly patient and explains concepts clearly. He took the time to answer all of our questions and really instilled the importance of dive safety--that anything can happen at any time, and you always need to stay aware, especially in and around the water. We practiced multiple real-life rescue scenarios in the water, which made the training feel practical and incredibly valuable. I learned so many important skills from Kerri--both ones I hope I never have to use and others that I will carry with me on every dive going forward. I look forward to diving with Kerri and the Maui Dreams crew the next time I'm on Maui!
