At first, we took it to Best Buy Geek Squad, thinking that was our best option: they identified a faulty AIO cooler but ended up damaging other components of my PC even more unfortunately... We were extremely hesitant to trust anyone with this expensive build, but from day one, Dr. PC Fix listened carefully to every issue we had. They were so kind and patient with us while we worked on getting replacement parts, and since their help, my PC has been working PERFECT these past 2-3 years. To this day, I still think about how much they helped and how thorough and professional they were. If you have a build that's precious to you, you can trust Dr. PC Fix completely!

I called Dr PC Fix and explained the issues to Thor and why my dad was unable to bring the computer in and would need an in home repair solution. Thor was able to come that same day after hours and fixed all of the issues that were preventing my dad from using his computer, and he also turned on an accessibility feature already in Windows that my dad can now use for speech to text in programs that he didn't know he could use speech to text. What a relief to get those issues fixed! My dad was so happy, and that makes me happy! Thor was patient and helpful. And if any other issues arise in the future, I have peace of mind, knowing that there is someone local who can help, as I am a thousand miles away! Thank you, Dr PC Fix!

The issue was a cooling fan seemed like it was failing. They got me a quote put together and I picked up the computer the following day so I could get everything backed up. The plan was that I would pay for the part, they'd order it, and they'd replace it when it arrived. Until then I could lightly use the computer. My company's IT is handled out of a corporate office on the east coast. As such, then dealing with hardware issues usually isn't feasible. But with a slow turn around on ordering the new fan, they thought they could get me a computer in half the time. So, I picked it up and didn't order the part. I told them what was going on and offered to pay for the diagnostics which was declined. I get it back to the office and it's fine. No more kazoo noises, at least for now. So, they fixed my computer and refused money for doing so. The next time we have a computer hardware issue, I'll be suggesting T.S. USA Computer Repair. Great service, content location, and that helped me a ton. It is most certainly appreciated.

I am infuriated by the speed and completion of their work. I am literally 2 weeks behind in…read morebusiness work because it has taken a little over a week for them to replace my keyboard. On top of that, this is only 1 of 2 certified places that can repair my Lenovo laptop and I had to drive hours to just pick up and drop off my laptop. They offer shipping, but that's more money out of your pocket for them to use on top of the diagnosis cost, repair costs, and cost for any other supplies. Whenever I asked for a time estimate on how long it would take to diagnose my laptop or to see what's wrong they can never give me an accurate time. They always say a couple hours or the next day. They told me that they would be able to fix my keyboard in one day once it arrives, and I bring my laptop thinking that I can wait there a couple hours for them to fix it and then they tell me that they can't guarantee that will be done that day. I literally drove all the way home to get a phone call saying that my laptop was ready to pick up! I could had waited if it was only going to take a couple hours oh, but they couldn't tell me. They definitely do not speak the customers language or put them first. I feel like they're more in it for the money then going above and beyond for customers. I've literally wasted hours of driving back and forth just to get my laptop keyboard fixed. When I finally received my laptop, they fixed the problem, BUT added another irrelevant problem! My laptop's battery now isn't being detected by the system and isn't charging and has to be connected to an adapter at all times to function. Now I have to pay another trip to Redmond to fix this new problem! Absolutely more inconvenience on my plate! Don't be surprised if you bring your laptop here and get it back with another problem, because that's what happened to me.

I chose to pickup my purchase at the Bellevue store. About 2 months and and 1 or 2 day days of ownership, the laptop was EXTREMELY HOT to the touch. Hot enough to cause burns. I was using the original included charger. And the laptop was on a hard flat surface as recommended. After unplugging it, it was still very hot after over 5 hours. I put a box fan next to it and direct airflow over it. Once it was cool to the touch, it would boot up as far as the log-in screen and then shut off completely. It did that twice. I'm not plugging it in again. EVER. I felt like had I not unplugged it when I did, it woud've caught fire in minutes or seconds. I went to Best Buy and the guy in the computer area and explained what happened. He said basically, tough luck. Even though I'm a rewards member. Deal with Lenovo. He actually BLAMED ME for purchasing from the Best Buy website, because if I would have done it in person they would've sold me an extended service plan and warranty. What the hell? it's only two months old! and well within its warranty period. All I expected was some kind of store credit, not even 100%, whether Lenovo repaired it or not, so I could purchase an Apple product from them. Partial credit would've been fine to keep me as a customer. Sales guy said they couldn't do anything for me and I should've bought something with an Intel processor, because he was wearing a shirt with an Intel logo. If he was joking, it wasn't funny, because Best Buy just lost a customer with disposable income and an amazing credit score. I am never setting foot inside a Best Buy store again. Even if I have to take leak, I'll go somewhere else. I literally won't take a piss in a Best Buy store.

After replacement my girlfriend and I started noticing condensation both front and back camera lenses that eventually led to the phone randomly turning off. Tried troubleshooting but unable to turn phone on. Took it to another third party phone repair shop for diagnosis and was told whoever did the replacement left the inside messy and the screen connection was loose. The repair guy was able to bring the phone back to life during diagnosis but the screen was flickering. He recommended to take it back to where it was originally repaired. Drove back to Redmond and explained the situation. Employee said it will be about 2 hours to take a look and will call/text when ready. Okay cool. So we waited 2 hours and when we came back and he asked did you receive a text. I said it was already the 2 hour mark... The one hour device repair guy then explained the screen connection is corroded and proceeded to show a picture on his phone of the corrosion. He suggested we must've dropped it in water. So now I'm thinking, how can a connection be corroded internally if this phone is water resistant and the phone had these problems AFTER the repair? Even so, we NEVER exposed it directly to any source of liquid since the time of initial repair. Even if we did, shouldn't it NOT have this issue anyway? Also we NEVER received any document or signed anything acknowledging of any potential risks after repair. I asked the repair guy what are our options. He said he can order the screen replacement and have it done on Wednesday. I asked him if this was going to be charged. He said yes. I said no. He said call the number for "headquarters". I called and no one picked up. We left and on the drive home the number from "headquarters" calls us. I explained the situation again to "headquarters" guy and asked for what are our options. He said we'd have to pay $309. I said no. He said let me place you on hold and call the repair guy in Redmond. We waited on hold for a bit. He comes back and says the corrosion is from water damage. I'm thinking what is this guy trying to imply? We continued to have a back and forth until he relents and says I can do it for $209. I said no thanks. That is literally the cost of a replacement phone adding both repair costs. Honestly I was livid after this conversation. Not only was there zero accountability from their end, but they tried to shift blame on the customer for using their phone normally. TLDR: Please make sure you are aware the risks of getting anything repaired from this business. It might make more sense buying a replacement instead.
