This is for the Walgreens pharmacy not the actual store…read more.. There needs to be some sort of better efficiency when going through the drive through. Maybe there needs to be multiple lanes like at a bank. That way multiple people can be helped at one time. Maybe even an express line where if you pay through the app you can get your meds and leave faster. Also, there should be a way to refuse the pharmacist counseling. Maybe you have been on this medication for years or even better, you are a nurse and don't need/want the counseling. Maybe sign something that says refused so they can't be held responsible. Often times those pharmacists are slammed trying to fill scripts and have to walk away to do the counseling which probably 9 out of 10 times people say they don't have questions and are done in 10 seconds. With as many people that are on medications now days it seems like there should be a better way. The line literally wraps around the store at times. I hate going to pick up my meds now.

I checked the status and they said it would be ready at 3:00pm the following day. And this was not because the medicine was not in stock. 24 hours to fill a prescription? I'm going back to CVS. At least if you're in store they will get it ready for you within 20 minutes or so. Believe the other terrible reviews. This Walgreens doesn't care about the customer.

On hold a total of one hour and forty-five minutes. When my daughter arrived to pick up the prescription they didn't even have it. Because of them, we are starting this blood work, paperwork, urine test, back to the doctor, back to the lab, back to website for confirmation, back to the lab, back to the doctor and finally back to the pharmacy process again.
